A better ask is to request new viewers to subscribe to continue to enable a wider reach for the information you provide. I enjoy these shows and hope for more people to see them.

My younger (42 y/o) brother was diagnosed on Feb 2024 with stage 2 liver cancer (22 cm); given 9 months to live. he cut all sugar, processed foods, all alcohol, gluten, carbs as much as possible, started exercising; taking soursop leaves tea; 15k IUs of vit D daily, 400mg magnesium daily, lower stress as much as possible; started his chemo therapy....4 months later: 97% reduction of cancer cells...Doctors only comment: "keep doing what you are doing"; He should be in national television!!! He just came back from 2 weeks vacation from Hawaii. It is criminal what the food, medical, and pharmaceutical industry are doing. So many people could be saved. But now all the truth is coming to light. Cheers!

People are quick to dismiss "TH-cam" as a place of learning. While it's true there are some very crazy and wacky channels, there are also very many legitimate doctors and scientists and good podcast platforms like this one where we can learn that "conventional" diets are so processed and carb heavy our bodies just don't know what to do with it. Hand in hand with the pharmaceutical industry, the big companies that control our food and health have profit as the number one priority.

I told my oncologist, much of what causes cancer is what is in the foods we eat. Not just the carbs, sugars but the poisons used as pesticides and fertilizers used. Many of these things are illegal to be used in this country. But what about these chemicals being sold to other countries by the big money making companies.
Are these chemicals in the foods we buy sold back to us? It’s not just the fact many of us eat processed foods, they are being processed with poisonous ingredients being used as well.
      Comments please.

His secret: very little simple vegetarian food, runs a few miles every day (even at this age), have no use for industrial chemicals in the form of commercial toothpaste, soaps and pharmaceuticals, drinks raw cow milk (from his own farm). His 99 year old healthy/active wife cooks for him. He is disease-free and active. He lost no hair (they are white but no receding hairline). He was a competitive runner all life who won medals from many international and national races.

My dad got recently diagnosed with cancer. He started noticing different worrying symptoms during the past months, and after running tissue tests they found he indeed had cancer, but in an early stage. He researched very thoroughly about how cancer works and found out it cannot survive easily on ketones, so he started off with several days of fasting, followed with a very strict keto diet. He ate lots of butter, meat and fat, vegetables, but rejected anything containing simple or complex sugars. He lost a lot of muscle mass and fat, but when the next tests runned to determine the treatment, they found no cancer. The doctors were very confused, as these tests are very accurate and cancer doesn't go away just like that, but surprisingly they didn't ask him what he did to cure himself. It did take a toll on his weight and muscle mass, but at what cost? He starved off cancer and now appreciates having the opportunity to live.

Breast Cancer Prevention Diet, written by Bob Arnot, is the sentinel book for women who have cancer or wish to reduce their risk. I recommend this book because the advice is easy to follow and backed by 40 years of scientific research. It was first published in the 1980's and the information is still relevant today. Keep in mind that "chemotherapy" was discovered in the 1970's and the patent was filed in 1978. Dr. Barnett Rosenberg discovered that cis-platin reduced cancer tumors in mice, which was not the purpose of that particular study. But he realized what was happening and insisted on clinical trials. Because he had some clout at Michigan State University as the Chairman of the Biophysics Department, MSU finally approved the trials. The resulting data was so good, a pharmaceutical company bought the patent rights. MSU got 85% of the royalties and Dr. Rosenburg got 15%. He split it with his two laboratory researchers. 15% made Dr. Rosenburg a millionaire. I cis-platin's common name is "chemotherapy". It works best on soft or fluid tumors, not so great on hard firm tumors. But at the time, it was the first treatment for cancer and it still works today. Fortunately, there are more cures, including radiation treatment (which saved my mother) and more new drug therapies, along with surgery. Someday, I believe that cancer will be cured by stem-cell therapy. In fact, I belive that all weird diseases and immune disorders will be cured by stem-cell therapy. Until science has conquered all, eat healthy, exercise (walking is great), and try to quit smoking (I know, it's really hard to do). Drink more coffee and green tea and unsweetened soy milk. Add beets and brocolli or cauliflower to your diet, even it you are a KETO person. Buy organic fruit and organic milk. Most of all, enjoy life because every day is a blessing!

I've had a brain tumour for 14 years now, I have lived much longer than the 3 months I was given at diagnosis. I did not get any treatment as I was declared terminal at diagnosis. They don't treat you if your close to death because they don't want you to die under treatment as it causes problems for the treating doctor. I started my journey with calorie reduction, I cut all sugars out of my diet, I am now methionine restricting and eating only once a day. Still here and I believe I'll still be here well into the future.

Indeed, it's great to see him on this podcast. I was hoping to hear a bit more of his history, but I suspect Seyfried wouldn't have it. He's a Vietnam veteran for instance, but I've never heard him mention it. When he's on podcasts he usually starts very calmly and eloquently, but eventually some of the frustration comes though as he talks about thousands dying every day. He's disgusted by the medical establishment, and it's great to see social media taking him closer to his eventual Nobel prize.

Love Dr. Seyfried. He has been banging on the door for decades to get people to listen and no one has. I was fausely dx'd w/ brain cancer from OHSU when I really had a lesion from a mechanical head injury. After being told I needed a craniotomy (all the way in to my cerebellum and brainstem which in and of itself could have destroyed my life) to dx my so-called cancer, I searched around and found his work. I wrote to him and he responded personally and sent me some of his research and how to treat it by essentially starving it. He really cares. Fortuneately, I never agreed to have the invasive and potentially harmful craniotomy to test for the non-existent cancer. The lesion is still there, 4-5 yrs later, but I am perfectly fine. Glad you're speaking w/ him.

As a previous cancer researcher who bought into the ‘cancer is a genetic disease’ paradigm, my Damascene moment came when I read Professor Seyfried’s book. It’s the best book on cancer on the market and highly recommend it. He expands the topics he spoke about in the podcast and describes the experiments supporting the claims in detail. And this how set up how its somehow new that cancer is a metabolic disease, when the biggest 2 cancer risk are obesity and smoking. We know that obesity is a huge cancer risk for a long time.

I’m an oncology nurse, chemo certified and often feel like I’m just checking boxes. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. And seeing so many people may age, much healthier than me on paper come with sudden widely Mets unusual cancers. I’m trying to learn from sources outside the usual. It’s amazing how little we learn about nutrition and utilize it aside from restrictions. I realized I’d been misinformed when I did keto and lifelong health problems just completely disappeared. Wonderful episode and excited to learn more from you both

They're not talking about what a sudden gene therapy injection on a mass scale could possibly lead to. Especially with younger healthy people. This info is good, but it's probably not all there is to it

I watched this video in tears because my ENTIRE family (except for my daughter) is gone from either cancer or drug abuse. I so wish I could have known about this a few years ago. Thank you, thank you so much. I just about a glucose/keto machine. Thank you so so much.

I absolutely love how realistic he is about the knowledge he’s sharing. He’s telling us the biological facts of the science and research he did but not pushing it upon anyone. Stress is such a HUGE killer. My father ate very little processed food his adult life but could not manage his stress and it killed him. A moderate lifestyle for all 💜
