3 small side notes:
1. Grimmjow with 1 arm was so weakened, he was booted from the Espada.
2. Yammy was so weakened after losing his arm, that Ulquiorra warned him that he could be removed from the Espada if he doesn't get it healed.
3. When Ulquiorra and Yammy first arrive in Karakura Town, the Soul Society detects them both as fully developed Vasto Lorde Arrancar.

Just looking back at it Yamamoto could’ve solo’d EVERYONE including Aizen pre fusion but chose not to. How much stronger Yamamoto was than everyone else was wild.
For real. He only held back because going Bankai (and still hold back) meant destroying the world just by existing. If he went and used 100% of his power he would have probably incinerated everyone by just standing there. He was so overpowered it is kinda comical
Not really. Aizen was too strong when combined with the unknowns around him. Especially with Kyoka Suigetsu.
That's why the Gotei erred on the side of caution and handling things the way they did. And honestly, they were right to do so. If Yamamoto had shown up alone, he'd have gotten destroyed. Wonderwiese would neg his Zanpakuto, Aizen would neg his other ways of defending himself with KS, and the 3 Espada could then destroy. And that's not even getting into Gin and Tosen. Aizen even has the capacity to kill Yamamoto in a 1-on-1if he didn't get cocky like what happened.
@@corruptangel6793 this is conjecture and goes against the fact Aizen himself admitted he could not beat Yamamoto 1v1. Don’t use your own head cannon to debate his performance when in the characters own words he couldn’t beat him in a fight. Especially knowing that his Shikai was far more powerful than Aizen seen and Aizen never even seen his Bankai and we know how busted that is with 2 arms at that.
Wonderweiss would’ve come too late to stop Yamamoto from doing anything if it was everyone vs. Yamamoto. At that point everyone was fodder to Shikai Yamamoto let alone Bankai Yamamoto w/ 2 arms which missing an arm Yhwach admitted made Yamamoto weaker.

Aizen has Kyoka Suigetsu but that's it he can deceive him until the heat turns up so much that it kills Aizen and maybe Yama too if it gets too prolonged but thats about it nothing else there can do a thing about Yama's Bankai

Tbh I've always interpreted Unohana's shock at ichigo's power not to be relating to how powerful he was at how much he improved in a very short time. The only other time she ever interacted with Ichigo at that point in time was when she healed his wounds after Kenpachi, and she probably sensed his fight with Byakuya, so I think it's Ichigo's growth in a relatively short time that shocked her, not so much his power itself.
I never thought of it that way, but when you put it that way it makes LOADS more sense in hindsight

Yep. She never implies his power is greater than anyone besides his former self. Her statement is quantitative, and not comparative. I've seen people argue she tought Ichigo was stronger than herself, which was never expressed
Makes sense. I interpreted it as her saying he's on par with weaker captains, not necessarily herself. Since some captains like Hitsugaya hadn't even mastered their own bankai yet.
This is complete head cannon. Unohana states verbatim that his spiritual pressure was that of a captains at his/her best at the time. His Bankais shihaksho is linked to the amount of spiritual pressure that he has present. He only had half when he was with her.

Theres a lot of different ways it could go if Ulquiorra did show up, but I certainly agree that it would require Yamamoto to step in, which if this didn't happen immediately may give enough time for Wonderweiss to intervene and seal Rujin Jakka. I'm also not sure if Kyoraku would even attempt to use his Bankai with so many allies nearby. It would be a very interesting battle as we would be able to see Ulquiorra's power outside of the strange circumstances that the fight in the dome with Vasto Lorde Ichigo gave us.

That's actually a very interesting point here, even if it's a bit complicated the sequence of events and combats in the Karakura town war. If Yamamoto at some point steps in noticing how Ulquiorra was giving every captain a whooping, and during their wonderweiss seals Yamaoto's Zanpakto, effectively sealing away his shikai and bankai by extension, and if the TH-camr is saying Yamamoto's bankai is the only competitive edge he has, he's effectively in a very difficult situation fighting Ulquiorra without Zanpakto. Shunsui using banai here is also unlikely if he's surrounded by other captains, not to mention possible speed blitz of Ulquiorra killing weakened Shunsui before bankai activation is already making the whole scenario looking bleak
I like to think Ulquiorra trained to achieve his second release. I'm pretty sure Kubo said in a Klub Outside interview that Grimmjow could potentially unlock a second release. I feel like Aizen would be impressed to see that Ulquiorra achieved a second release, but I don't know if he'd necessarily be surprised.
For my own heacanon, I imagine Ulquiorra did it mentally, rather than physically.

I always thought his second release was due to the unique conditions of his being. Since he's a hollow born from ash, born a vasto lorde at that, while all other hollows start from regular and evolve. But still, he's the only hollow, iirc, that we know of that was not originally a human being, which I suppose explains his lack of understanding when it comes to humans and emotions.
There's actually a great theory out there about how he was actually born from the ashes of the native hollows, which were apparently ancient hollows that were much different than today's average hollows, it also explains why his SE was so alien to Uryu, considering he's the only one of his kind still alive

@@daylightsavior6745 At this point we can only assume, the only somewhat acceptable proof we have is an image of SE Ulquiorra while Aizen talks about their battle (which he didn't see), but that could be an image from Ichigo's pov or just a neutral image (they do this sometimes in anime, where they show an image from somebody entirely else's pov or just from the viewer's pov), doesn't necessarily mean it was Aizen's, so other than that it's just "It's Aizen dude, Aizen knows everything"

I always assumed that the symbolism of losing the Espada tattoo meant he was beyond the labels of his kin, and therefore the most powerful. I mean, Yammy's becomes a "0", so Ulq being "none" makes sense. While he obviously doesn't have shit on TYBW Ichigo, he is WAY more powerful than people give him credit for at this point in the series! I don't think it's wanking the character to come out and say it like it is.
Ulq is not the only one to lose his number. Halibel also loses her's in her Resurrección. It's simply a visual change, nothing more.
Yammy kept getting stronger very easily and fast
Barragan had a very dangerous ability that can take down anything I mean they used his power against him to beat him
Stark is just full of spiritual pressure shooting ceros like a machine gun
But ulquiorra is just totally superior in battle he is one of them crazy anime exceptions
He's not the only one. Starkk and Barragan where far ahead of him in power according to CFYOW since they're more powerful than Harribel, Nel, and Grimmjow at this point before and this is before they met Aizen.

This is what I believe as well, although he believes that Vasto lorde hollows requirement is to be above captain lvl thus making all espada but Aaroniero who is stated to be gillain Vasto lorde. Imo Aaroniero would be adjucha lvl due to the logic or lower lvl Vasto lorde as he was upgraded+Kaien power

Espada is so horribly underrated that when a video comes out that finally shows just a little how powerful ulquiorra it is, you still don't feel comfortable saying it's stronger than Unohana or Urahara. I think he is the only Espada who is stronger than any captain. Shunsui and bankai kenpachi are the only ones we can talk about. that they have a chance. But I still think Ulqiorra is a lot faster, more durable and has a too much power for Shunsui, and Kenpachi with his Bankai is not clever enough to beat him. That's why I think Shunsui would beat kenpachi too.
I'm not saying that ulquirra can take on those captains, but the espadas that faced the captains at fake kurakara were DEFINITELY not at the level that ulquirra was. I remember being so disappointed when I saw 1, 2, and 3 on my first watch through
The captains at that point in time were all weaker in a 1v1 against any of the top 4 espada. That is why each espada was fighting multiple captains/vizards at the same time. You just need to watch Bleach. Unohana is not even on their level. She thought Ichigo was at her level with half bankai and without mask, who needed to go full hollow to defeat Ulquiorra
I think there's a decent chance Ulquiorra achieved Segunda Etapa on his own, and never did tell Aizen. I also 100% believe Aizen knew about it regardless, because Aizen. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think that Aizen intentionally ranked Ulquiorra at 4, neglecting the power of his Segunda Etapa out of respect for his decision to keep it a secret.
My headcanon is that Ulquiorra was the strongest Espada in base but never got his deserved promotion because he's an emo loner who's bad at politics and has no friends. While Stark, Barragan, Halibel, Grimmjow are all cool people you'd want to hang out with

To be fair it is later implied that deep down Aizen wanted to lose. That is why he didn't bring Ulquiorra or Yami with him to fake Karakura town despite the fact even one of them would have made a huge difference.

Aizen's reaction to Ulq's second release would genuinely be: "A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one."
Things certainly would've gotten dicey at Fake Karakura. Maybe Aizen would achieve his breakthrough earlier and there might have been a worst case scenario of him sweeping through the actual town inflicting human casualties on a larger scale. Of course Yamamoto and Shunsui would focus on Ulquiorra but still.

Ulquiorra is not just strong but he's smart. And prob the most loyal Espada to Aizen. Probably Aizen's favorite for sure. He did every order Aizen gave to him, he never disappoint him and he serve him even he know he can't trust him coz why would that matter, Ulquiorra is the death of nothingness. He has no feelings or any emotion for anything. He only live to serve lord Aizen. Protecting Los Noches coz Aizen wants him too. I think if Ulquiorra was not locked away by Grimmjow he had been in Karakura town along Aizen.
I wouldn't say he's smart but he's definitely strong. I read a theory that ulquiorra might actually be a hollow that existed during the primordial world which would explain why in his backstory he had no mouth and was white while every other hollow around him was black and had mouths to feed

Starrk is far smarter though in his fights after seeing Toshiro's Bankai he considers the strength of everyone else's, he picks up on the fact that Shunsui can fight with two swords at once just by seeing how well he switches from one hand to the other, he then learns precisely how Ukitake's Shikai works from 3 shots. He also immediately adapts to Shunsui's colour game without Shunsui giving any hints to it same with the height and shadow game.
This would assume that Ulquiorra would need to go past his first Resurrección for half of the captains there, cuz he definitely wouldn’t just show up in his Segunda Etapa
Plus none of the other Espada have shocked the entire battlefield just by going into their Resurrección, none of the other captains were shocked when even Stark transformed
I don't think Unohana was retconned at all. There are small hints throughout the series that suggest she was very different than she seemed.
I think the most significant detail is the running joke where bottom level Shinigami (I can't remember the title/rank they're given) are shown to be afraid of her multiple times throughout the series, causing them to run away each time, and she always puts on this face like she doesn't understand why they fled.
I don't think it would be entirely correct to call it common knowledge, but there are definitely a number of people in Soul Society that know she was the previous Kenpachi
Don’t worry, I’m still fine with it being canon, but it definitely seems like Kubo transformed her a lotttttt in the War Arc.
@@ClydeTH-camr That is kind of the balancing act of foreshadowing, if you hint at something too much it becomes obvious, if you are too subtle people will not notice the hints.
That being said, I do think the idea of Unohana being the OG Kenpachi was planned. The duality of someone being both the greatest healer and the most ruthless murderer in the Soul Society's history, is the kind of character writing Kubo loves.
The earliest databooks hinted at her being more than she appeared to be as well. her total combat score was 540/600, which was second only to Aizen and Yama who tied at 560/600.

Late I know, but something I've always found impressive was that despite being a dead man walking at the time, Ulquiorra was able to blitz and destroy (an admittedly distracted)Vasto Lorde Ichigos mask with a single attack.
i was kinda skeptical when you first mentioned that people thought that ulquiorra was weak and that the other three espadas scale far above him but man was i wrong. i seriously cant believe how many people there are that cant scale characters right and some even just blatantly outright refuse to believe that ulquiorra was ( maybe still is) one of high tier characters during that time.
He is definitely one of the high tiers just based off Ichigo and how strong he gets post that fight. After that Ichigo is the only one capable of feeling Aizen's spiritual pressure after Aizen evolved so Ulquiorra would have to be stronger than the other espadas and have to have started to approach base Aizen levels of strength relative to the other espadas for Ichigo to gain that big of an amp from a single fight
yeah it's all about scaling. Ulq scales higher than the 3 Espadas above him and his feats are very consistent
His Segunda Etapa has zero actual feats. Literally he just got the transformation and got stomped by Vasto Lorde Ichigo the most he did was 3 sword clashes with VLI's before dying and his lightning bolt is something he struggles to control. Absolutely featless.

Thanks for pointing out how strong Ulq is. People seem to blindly go along with the scaling provided by Aizen and ignore not only the fact that Bleach never used such linear scaling, so it's obvious that it is not to be taken directly, but also ignore simple scaling comparisons such as Ichigo>Byakuya, Byakuya>Toshiro, so Ichigo>Toshiro, Harribel>Toshiro, so it only makes sense that if Ichigo, who is stronger than Toshiro, gets absolutely rag-dolled by 1st release Ulquiorra, whom he can't even touch with his strongest attack, means that Ulquiorra is def above rank 4, even without his second release

@Josh Nelson How is ulq weaker in 1st release when he stomped full mask bankai Ichigo with 1st release, and I don't mean won against ichigo, he straight up took his strongest getsuga with 0 damage, without even defending, his reiatsu deflected it. All in 1st release. And hollowfied bankai ichigo is def stronger than most captains, and would def be able to at least put up a fight against Harribel (like toshiro did, who is miles below ichigo), whereas he couldn't lay a finger on 1st release Ulq
The badge is most likely at bare minimum a genti rein level seal.
Also dont think it was a retconned for unohana it was froshadow in both the databook and the TBP arc that unohana was above most if not all the other captains besides yama

Ulquiorra is so efficient, as soon as they decided to go after the pillars, and since Ulquiorra has no fraccion. He would probably just cero the pillars directly himself. If not just lanza those bitches straight away and wipe the whole town out in one shot.
After that, yamamoto or shunsui would likely be the ones to take him down, yama via power, or shunsui through sheer hax. Everyone else getting violated.
i think people dont realize that ulqiorra purpose was to help ichigo grow stronger so that maybe he culd take on aizen, aizen himsefl explains this that he planned every one of ichigos fights out, and even after tanking a point blank getsuga that was enough to wound him he still thought ichigo should of been much stronger if he was able to beat ulqiorra, so i believe the fight with ulqiorra was suppose to make ichigo strong enough to atleast compete with aizen, but as we know it was white who beat ulqiorra and not ichigo hence why aizen was confused why ichigo wasn't stronger

We never see a lot from him but we do know he can redirect Stark's cero back at him so if, big if, Ukitake is healthy enough to release bankai he might be able to neck Uliq as well. Gods I hope we get to see his bankai in the Hellverse arc that Tite fucking teased us with...
You're wrong about one thing, the Vasto Lorde are Hollows that achieved self awareness, the humanoid looking ones are called Arrancar.
My headcannon for the espada rankings is it is based off of base a first release strength. Ulquiorra ranking would be for his first release since that would be something every espada has. But since his second release is unique to him and yami the ranking wouldn't apply to them. And the way Ulquiorra states that the four highest espada cant release near the base since their spiritual pressure would destroy it does imply they are all relative in strength.
In my opinion it would be like
Stark is A 9.3
Baragon is a 9.2
Halibel is a 9.1
And Ulquiorra is a 9
This would apply to a base and first release.
Yammy has to be first though, he literally goes from 10 to 0 & tbh his release is actually a huge upgrade. He's super durable & his output damage + radius is on another level. The only problem is him specifically. He's just a brute with no tricks.

Aizen said he got twice the reiastu of a average captain...which means he had twice the reiastu of byakuya put ulquiorra above aizen in reaistu in way to much

I'm one of the biggest Ulquiorra fans, but even I have to admit Aizen most likely knew about his second release. When he's speaking to Ichigo about how he's monitored his entire life and sequenced all of his battles, you can see Ulquiorra is in his 2nd release when he's referring to Ichigo's battle with him. This image appearing makes absolutely no sense unless Aizen knew about the form's existence... which is exactly why he allowed Ulquiorra to stay and fight Ichigo, knowing he was the only Espada that could bring out that power in him.
It could be an image from Ichigo's POV or a neutral POV, it makes more sense that he doesn't know about it, since there's 0 chance he's seen it with his own eyes (he went to FKT before their fight so no way to use his little spy screen) yet there's a visual image of him when it could have just been text. I'm 99% sure this is the case.
Then there's also the fact that SE wasn't even needed at all, Ulquiorra in first release was already casually ragdollling Ichigo and could have easily done the same thing he did to him while staying in his first release...

Ulquiorra wasn't fleeing, in the movie he dodged and parried White, a fight which was closer to the writer's vision and feats that made him much stronger than many of the sternritters. Unlike other espadas his release was better develloped and thus gave him better multiplier on top of a second release, Stark with his lack of will to do anything probably only had a X5 multipler due to a poorly develloped, underwhelming release, Baragan had such a huge ego he probably never thought about becoming stronger and also got a weak multiplier, Hallibel got demolished by one of the weakest captains ever. Meanwhile Ulquiorra had a minimum 50x mutiplier and a maximum 100x multiplier on top of regeneration (What killed Stark would have done nothing to Ulquiorra).... then on top of that multiplier his cero obscuras had another 50x multiplier... then his lanza del relampago would have destroyed the entirety of the town.
@@rpoutine3271First off no Ichigo was not stronger than the captains by that point it still took everything he had just to beat Grimmjow when Shinji did that with eaze. Second, Ulqiora's second release was hardly developed at all. We don't see him fighting any opponents of equal strength in second release and only that he got destroyed by VLI and before you mention the movie being closer to the author's vision the manga goes about the same way the anime does with no damage actually being done. Third, Halibel wasn't even beaten by Toshiro or Lisa or Hiyori all of which btw are captain level she could still have fought but Aizen knew the moment Starrk died it was over.
Then you bring up meaningless multipliers with no evidence this isn't Dragonball. In terms of destructive power that's irrelevant when you struggle to control it. Ulqiora's second release is basically power with the cost of precision that's arguably worse when Stark can just spam Cero's to do the same amount of damage with better aim.

A what if about if Yhwach finished reviving at the very start of the series or during the substitute soul reaper or soul society arc. Somewhere along those lines. How would things play out differently?
Some people might say Yhwach just stomps without superior Ichigo around, but then there are other factors to consider like Yamato being sterner, Aizen’s arrancar in the background, Aizen still working as a captain, Kisuke and Vizards still being wanted criminals but still being there in WOTL etc.

Ichibe might choose different soul reapers to go and be trained if that scenario still happens. Remember that originally Yhwach's plan to get up to the Soul Palace relied on Ichigo going down. And all the while Aizen has an army of arrancar he could technically call upon at any point. Kisuke and the vizards are still around but as wanted criminals.
Basically there's a lot of different variables.

As you've said, Yamamoto is the only one who would be able to slay Ulquiorra and even he was impressed by feats of VL Ichigo which Ulquiorra is comparable to. About Shunsui beating Ulquiorra: first of all he wouldn't use bankainas it would've affected everyone around and he would not want to kill his allies. Second, I dont think it was ever stated the Lille or any of the Shutzstaffel are way above the captains in reiatsu, they just got hacks. Ulquiorra would have so much reiatsu that he might negare Shunsui's hacks anyways. Lastly, Ichigo, Byakuya and Yoruichi are the fastest shinigami with Yamamoto being the only one on their level or probably surpassing them. Shunsuinmight be comparable but I don't think he's faster... meaning that Ulquiorra could speed blitz him as he was absolutely clowning on Ichigo in terms of speed
@Josh Nelson headcannon again. Resurrecion Ulq has a more denser and higher Reiatsu than Shunsui. He negates his shikai unless he uses bankai. Or are you saying Shunsui has higher Reiatsu than Kenpachi? Because Uryu felt how dense Ulq's reiatsu in Hueco Mundo than any other captains there. Btw Ulq is so fast that he can just blitz Shunsui easily at Segunda Etapa

I don’t think it was necessarily a retcon….unless Kubo said so. It was always hinted that she was someone who was feared. Being the first Kenpachi doesn’t feel like much of a stretch.

TBH I think "captain level" just means the minimum requirement a soul reaper would need to meet to be viable for captain position. That being said, all the captains in SS have been captains for 10s or 100s of years, and have developed their powers well beyond the bare minimum. Thats why the vasto lorde dont quite scale as described in the manga, imo.

I see SO many people constantly underestimating how strong ulquiorra was, I’ve seen many times in YT shorts and survey things where people say that ulqiora was the 5th strongest espada WITH his 2nd release, its actually insane how many people love to hate ulquiorra. Im also aware how many people way overestimate his strength as well, but like cmon he ain't weak.

Considering Aizen straight up uses Kyoka Suigetsu right from the start, to the point where everybody was under the impression that he hadn't, I don't think the Captains in Hueco Mundo would make much of a difference. It would change how the fights against the Espada went, but by the time Aizen gets involved it would play out pretty much exactly the same.
aizen still is going to destroy byakuya and even kenpachi like he did with the rest of the shinigami

I'm about 8 minutes in and I'm surprised that someone who has built their online presence around Bleach content has such a fundamental and complete misunderstanding of hollow categories.
Vasto Lordes, Adjuchas and Gillians are categories applied to pure hollows, not arrancars. The arrancars have humanoid forms because they are arrancars, not because they are Vasto Lordes.
Prior to becoming arrancars, only 4 of the Espada were confirmed to be Vasto Lordes, Stark, Barragan, Hallibel and Ulquiorra.
The only other possible Vasto Lordes are Nnoitra, whose pre-arrancar form is unknown, and Szayel, because he is half of a Vasto Lorde, Cien, who split itself in two. It is known that one half of Cien, Yylfortd, became an Adjuchas after the split, so it is likely that Szayel was too.
Grimmjow, is confirmed in his backstory to have never achieved the level of Vasto Lorde, and was an Adjuchas. The other Espada who are below Grimmjow were all also previously Adjuchas, with the exception of Aaroniero who is canonically the only espada member who was previously a Gillian. Yammy, despite his 0 Espada reveal, is confirmed to have been an Adjuchas too, because in the same way Ulquiorra's silhouette is shown when Vasto Lordes are being discussed, Yammy's is shown when Adjuchas are explained.
One issue with your vasto lorde explanation: the VLs only count when they look human before their arrancarization. Clear example of this are seen with Harribel and ulquiorra. Grimmjow does not count as he was a tiger at that point(tho this could just be his natural look even if he was a VL but I doubt it). Aizen calling those 20 arrancars his “brothers” might just be in terms of brotherhood of arrancars, not necessarily a brotherhood of vasto lordes.

The fact that Ishin, with Yoruichi and Urahara, potentially in a weaker state the before, didn't even try to use his Shikai against Aizen. When he fought White, potentially in a stronger state, he immediately went into Shikai and Aizen had to stop him from using Bankai. White has gotten far stronger then he was then in the time since then, and Ulquiorra was able to 'match him' when White had less then half of his full power. That is something that I don't see anyone bringing up at all and I think that also says something about how crazy strong Ulquiorra is.
Isshin literally explains that his base maxes out at Soul Society Bankai Ichigo. The same Ichigo that scaled to Base grimmjow.
I don't see how that's relevant to any discussion regarding Ulquiorra. Beyond the fact that it puts White, as a pure (albiet modified) Vasto Lorde on par with a mid level Espada. The weakest of the Vasto Lorde class Arrancar.
White hasn't gotten stronger, White is dead. Zangetsu is a different entity than White himself.

I'd also say it's difficult to determine what a 'mid-level Espada' is due to the massive differences in power, even between two different ranks. But that's also just a personal issue I have with the whole 'captain-level' thing as well. I personally find the terms to be kind of meaningless due the absurd differences between any one captain and any other.

@@tekiyuyami6406 again it's not White, it's Hollow Reiatsu that just has some traits of White. It's the same concept as a child and a father. The child will have some traits and genes from their father, but they are entirely different people.

Hollow Ichigo would be a huge problem regardless of Orihime as Orihime isn't what triggered it, Ichigo almost dying is what triggered White, so if Ichigo almost dies again and if it is against someone stronger than Ulq, I.E Aizen, they are screwed big time.

I have a bit of head cannon. I think a source of Vasto Lorde strength is that being a smaller more humanoid size allows them to condense their power more. There is an implication in Bleach about condensing your power making you stronger. For example the Zanpakutō of Shinigami being condensed to the size of a Katana when it was stated that if they couldn't condense it then some Shingiami would have Zanpakutōthe size of sky scrapers.
Also take note of how when Ichigo get's stronger his Zanpakutō gets smaller. Even in his final Bankai his final sword that he uses to defeat Ywach has the scabbard removed becoming smaller in size and resembling his original Shikai.
Maybe Harribel's multiplier sucks compared to his and he's only slightly weaker than her?
Or maybe he's just by far the most skilled of the Espada, so he knows how to use his own power much better than say, Starrk. Starrk wasn't trying too much and skilled and experienced in combat he was not.
What would've happened? More people would've died since he actually does go for the kill properly. Shunsui and some others would've died since Ulquiorra has no chill unlike Starrk.

The only topic i miss from the video is that the Factor "Ichigo" - is not really brought up, Ulquiorra would be a fearsome opponent in Karakura Town but that would also lead that Ichigo arrives to help the captains far earlier than when he did in the "canon".

How strong do you think base ichigo after the Ulquiorra fight is compared to his VL form? I ask because he went from getting ragdolled by release Ulquiorra in base to being able to fight release Yammy without a mask.
@@namsonnguyen3708 I mean, he was able to cancel a cero oscuras from release Yammy with a getsuga without his mask on, I’d consider that to be a pretty big deal. Ichigo also says he wasn’t feeling too great after the ulquiorra fight so he’s probably being nerfed from being mentally conflicted, on top of only being at half power from having only half of his shihakusho. He was at half power in his VL form too though.
@@namsonnguyen3708 Ichigo cancels out Yammy’s cero in both the manga and anime versions, but the difference is that the anime changed it to a regular cero, whereas in the manga it was a cero oscuras, which makes the feat much less impressive in the anime. All we know about Segunda Etapa is that it should have a massive increase of at least 100x. As the Hollow form that Ichigo went into is at least 100x from his Hollow Mask form.
I..dk if i get the bridge comparison. Its a perspective mistake to use it as a way to grade captain power. Byakuya was indirectly looking down on ichigo, since like a few weeeks ago he could not even see him moving... Its a HUGE detail since the captains take CENTURIES to dominate such speed and reach such growth... However, ichigo was able to fend himself against his attack. So, in short Byakuya had no way to think ichigo actually was something more than a kid; so he didn't need to perform.
It wouldn’t matter, he would of died. If he was such a game changer, aizen would of taken him to the fake karakura town. The fact that he left him in hueco mundo to fight ichigo meant he expected ichigo to beat ulquiorra and that he did not need ulquiorra to be with him.
