    When coffee goes stale, it's a lost cause and not good for much other than compost or gardening. Meat is the same way, but no-one was ever hospitalized and died from eating stale coffee - yet! 😉

    Stale coffee beans are like poison. Once I pulled a shot from barely used pack of Lavazza super crema beans that were sitting on the counter for almost a year. It was extremely bitter so I added some milk. I could barely finish it. But within few minutes my body went into a shock. It took couple of days for me to recover.
