  • The Paragon Warlock is a different knife and would do a good job with the work needed for a dagger style blade, The mechanism is patented and I do like new and interesting mechanisms.

    The weight comparison to how many quarters is a first for me, and I watch a lot of knife reviews. Excellent idea. The cuts on the center of the blade look so unique they remind me of some stone tool caveman knife. All in all the Paragon has a very one-of-a-kind style of clamshell gravity design. It has to be in the collection because nothing else is like it.

      Thanks sorry for the late response sometime the app is different than the PC comment, appreciate it I try to have information that is transferable to the person and relatable.

    Wish I had one of these, really fell in love with the action, look, and even the sound when I saw this on a "knives you don't just hand to people" video.

      It's definitely a different way to do things. They are still available and come up on the secondary market too.

    If you take it apart and flip the blade around it can open out of the left side...kind of a hidden secret. It actually is fully ambidextrous if you know about it

      Nice I had seen the disassembly prior, good call out.

    I used to have one of the these, a blue one over here in Australia. I unfortunately lost it when I had people over to help me move house. Do you guys know a sneaky squirrel way of being able to import another one at all? They are really difficult to get through customs and I don't want to spend that much money just for it to get confiscated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Craig.

      Difficult the best chance would probably be disassembled if you had a proxy, or find one already in country.

    I love the blades with the odd deployment mechs. I've almost ordered it so many times but I keep putting it off. Great stuff and again congrats on the 100%!! 🍻🇺🇲

      Check your local laws on ownership....
      This knife is 100% illegal in illinois.

    • @BladeBanter
      @BladeBanter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah seems like a lot of knives are like that. But definitely do.

    I Like the idea not sure if I would ever buy it.

    Looks like a knife I'd want if the Socs ride up on me in their mustangs drunk and looking for a fight.

      Its a interesting knife design for sure and USA made.

    I always thought this knife would be cool if, when you press the button to open the handle a certain amount, the blade came out automatically.
    Basically the same knife handle opening function, but an auto version. All the clanking around needs fixed too.

    • @BladeBanter
      @BladeBanter  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It seems for this knife a auto version would be extremely dangerous as the clip is reversable and if you are holding it the wrong way and it was an auto it would open into you palm.
      I always figured that was a draw of this knife being the noises it makes. It has its place I personally wouldn't pick one up.

    3.8" great.... Can't own in illinois :-(

    • @BladeBanter
      @BladeBanter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Illinois seems like a place where knives are not accepted much. What is the legal limits there?

    • @D3Fd0ck
      @D3Fd0ck 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BladeBanter limits are lost in translation, as illinois has everything loosely worded for easier prosecution... A fixed blade can be any size to carry but folding knives must be under 3". Regardless of blade length, that knife requires a FOID card to own... Simply because it has a button, it's considered an automatic knife.

    • @BladeBanter
      @BladeBanter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that kind of stinks as even my model wouldn't be considered legal as a manual button lock.

    • @D3Fd0ck
      @D3Fd0ck 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BladeBanter key word "Button". It's a damn shame... But Illinois is out for money.
      A paratrooper folding knife also illegal.... Without special laws\wording, it's Ben condemned in court "too readily available".
