    Totally enjoyed this!! At the beginning I was kind of irritated like I didn’t want to do yoga today lol..but I’m so glad I stuck with it through the whole 27 minutes .. my body and mind is grateful 4 it. #GodIsGood

    Hi 👋🏿 Joelle, i notice most all practitioners want us to breathe in through our nose .. is there any significance between exhaling through our mouths vs. our noses?

      There are different kinds of breathing that we can use in yoga, but as you say it's quite common to encourage slow and steady breaths in and out through the nose. Different people have different preferences, but I find that breathing this way helps calm the nervous system and put us in the right mindset to do some yoga ;-)

    This is a good longer practice. And I managed to lift my toes off the floor while doing the side bend for the first time.
    No matter how long I've been doing yoga for, I still regularly get cramps in my feet when they are pointed. Particularly annoying when it happens while in child's pose. Any idea why that might happen?

      Great job Katrina! And feet are tricky, you're not alone! For many of us they get so used to being locked in shoes that we start to lose the mobility to keep them in more "unusual" positions for longer periods of time. It can also be tightness in the front of the ankle. You might actually like to give the shin splints practice a try to see if any of the stretches or exercices in that one seem to be working the areas where you feel tight: th-cam.com/video/qKecs7dRmYM/w-d-xo.html
