Hey guys! So this video still works fine, but I've made an updated video with the 2024 plugins pack, plus I made custom tools for you all to download to make renaming everything a lot easier than the " fuzzy rename tool", and on top of that I also show how to add music! Here it is if you're interested

First of all, thanks for sharing this content. I bought my Wii on 2012 and still play on it. Always used USB GX Loader but after watch this tutorial I decided to give wiiflow a chance. It worked 100% for me and I reallized that now my wii has became an emulation center with wo many options... and its also more charming that it used to be. Greetings from Brazil.

@@steviewonder1653 I had the same problem. Most are ads, if there is a x to close ad do it. Eventually I managed to download the correct file, it did take several times to find the correct download. Sorry I cannot be more specific because, like you, I was getting frustrated, after downloading several wrong files, and deleting them, almost by accident I did download the correct file. I also tried several sites.
      As anyone any better solutions?

I am about 90% complete on this project and the results so far are fantastic. I love my Wii again.
Downloading and adding box art is tedious as heck, but the payoff is worth it.
Some final cleanups I need to do are removing titles that I didn’t get box art for (more games than I’ll ever play, it’s about look, not completeness) and doing a few more renames to remove the (USA) from titles on systems where I got lazy

      @alderchrist85 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

instead of deleating those games you can create a categories folded for the games that you dont want to see in your flow. Then with in caterories click that box till its an X and those games will not show but still be there.
For instance my rom hacks dont have boxes but i still like to play them but not see them in the flow.
Setting up catergories is long winded but well worth the pay off.
at the click of a button i can just show my beat em ups or remove the sports games from the flow.
Makes that wiiflow experiance that bit more amazing ;-)

Did you rename your games in the WiiFlow or did you rename the folder? Gamecube backup manager renamed a lot of my games and some of them were unrecognizable at first, like Ghost Recon 2 was renamed to gr2gc [GGYe41] so I'd like to rename it to Tom Clancey's Ghost Recon 2

Also following the same instructions as the SNES games you set up (which worked btw) I've been having a hard time getting specifically N64 covers to show up and ps1 roms to show up at all in wiisxrx.. and guides seem to be somewhat scarce on fresh info.

I was able to rename the N64 games from the google doc list, and they appear to have copied just find. When I go to add the box art in Fuzzy, nothing is matching up. When I load everything in fuzzy per the guide, and select "Add original ext too" the ROM names will list, but nothing in the Closest Match folder. I've repeated these steps about 5 times, shut everything down, try again, the whole 9 yards and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Dude! This is what I was looking for! It’s a jungle of half deprecated old threads/servers out there. Not everything works, very little has documentation after 2015ish (or older) and it’s only through random videos like this that I’ve found “un-searchable” things. Kinda feels like old Aperture Science, the one in Portal 2, where Cave Johnson talks. The lights are surprisingly on, but no one is home kind of thing.
Now, I’ve been trying to add stupid amounts of roms (my bright idea, I know it’s waaay too much), but would it be possible to make a torrent with all of this? That way people can select the cores/plugins and covers and have it all ready with a few button presses. I ask because for all the rom out there, no one has a proper collection of all with no duplicates. I’ve been awake for almost 2 days trying to fix this.

I'm pretty sure this is nowhere on the internet, but you can format a hdd or sd card that is larger than 32GB using only the Windows Disk Management program which is already installed on Windows.. Just go in and delete the volumes off of your sd card, then right click to create a simple volume at about 29000 MB and set it to FAT32. Easy Peazy. Pretty sure that's what these programs do anyway. You can also create multiple partitions with different file structures and sizes. Just remember FAT32 only works for 32GB and below and HDDs never partition exactly that much. Hope this helps somebody.

Hi! Thanks a lot for this tutorial, I followed it step by step for Wii, Gamecube and N64 games and it was a success!
I have a question. I added some N64 roms and covers. Wiiflow detected the roms and added the covers for most of them, except for about 10 roms for which the name changes did not work automatically and for which no box cover was uploaded. I manually changed the roms names and added the box covers (re-naming them manually too), but nothing changes when I'm in the console. I even deleted a rom from the SD card (because I accidentally uploaded it twice) and it still shows up in the console menu. Do you know if Wiiflow can re-detect roms and box-covers, as it happens @26:24? I have searched in the settings and I don't see an option for it. Thank you!

@BelowAverageGaming Interesting. Are these emulators self-contained within Wiiflow and just need to be activated, or do they need to be installed separately? • @BelowAverageGaming

All the files that currently work should have been included on the SD card during the tutorial. like my comment above, I believe you should have mupin and wii 64 off rip.
I'm sure you can probably add emulators as well, but I would imagine they wouldn't have custom icons and everything depending on what it is, if it's not already included on the SD.
But yes, just need to be activated. If I'm not mistaken, there might be two different PS1 emulator options as well.
