I asked the same question on another video. It's pretty cool that you can install all those wiiware titles like this now. Probably 99% of people that owned wiis never ever played those games because of memory restriction. This is awesome
I've got a question, so I haven't started modding my Wii yet but I've been watching several of your videos: 1. the tutorial on letterbomb/homebrew setup/priiloader etc 2. the tutorial on wiiflow using all SD 3. this tutorial on wiiware/virtual console games with wiiflow and emunand I'm assuming this is the order I should follow them. One thing I don't understand is, why are we selecting "yes" for installing cios249 with modmii in this tutorial, when we already setup cios 248-251 in the first tutorial? Does this replace the old CIOS 249? Is there a difference?
You are correct in the order that you should be doing things You're overthinking the CIOS part, this video is also for those who haven't done that AT ALL which is why 249 was not left out. The most it will do for you since it's already done is just replace the file with essentially the same file. No issues will arise if that's what you're concerned about
Question: I was able to access the boot.dol file for Nswitch2.2 via WiiExplorer given I incorrectly named the folder for it. When I got to the part where the EmuNAND was going to be set up, and got stuck at the text stating “Reloading bootmii IOS!” I have followed the exact steps of setting the EmuNAND you did on BootMii (except for the Serial Number on my Wii ofc), and I’m using WiiFlow with no theme. Are there any suggestions of what I can do next?
When in doubt, just delete what you did and start over. I'm not really sure about that particular issue since it's never happened to me. For what it's worth modmii was picked up by my antivirus a few times while I was making the video and it removed files from the folders each time. I had to disable my antivirus and do that whole process
This might sound like a stupid question but i bet a whole bunch of people want to know. HOW did you rename the folder in all caps to the same name lowercase? For me it always changes it back to all caps automatically
Not totally true. SD cards are still not made for the write speeds needed to read games like Wii and Wii U. Sure they can play and they probably will most of the time. But they CAN cause failures in SD cards occasionally.
Woow, could it be done aswell to install like all Just Dance DLC songs so that they can be played at the same time? I mean, they needed to be moved from external drive to internal every time since Wii has so little space available
@@BelowAverageGamingoh! I see, thank you so much for answering anyway! I used to use USB Loader but next time I can I will definitely install WiiFlow with your tutorials
👇This was exactly my question, more specifically, all the settings you chose while doing the modmii bit, like priiloader and such, are they applicable for the vwii?
@laz305 That means you did not read the rules lol as the rules tell you to select a role for yourself before you can chat in any of those channels. It's done to prevent bots from joining the server. And also to make sure people read the rules
@@BelowAverageGaming ok well out of the 30 something community I have joined on discord this is a first. Can you please tell me how do I select a role? Because it is not obvious
The server starts you off telling you to read the rules. In the rules it says "assign yourself a role if you want to talk in this server" There is a channel right next to the rules that says "assign your roles" From there, you click on your roll. Done
I don't really get it... Why use emunand? Bricks are super rare if you are not messing with systemfiles. Is there something I'm missing?
Wads need to be installed on your nand. The nand only has so much space. Emunand has way more space.

Great. I have a skin on my Wii U and can’t see my model serial. Is there an app that will tell me it?
Nope, you gotta take it off or use the default one provided in modmii
For a future video, could you show us folks how to get all the DLC working for the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games on either Wiiflow or USB Loader GX?
This might sound like a stupid question but i bet a whole bunch of people want to know. HOW did you rename the folder in all caps to the same name lowercase? For me it always changes it back to all caps automatically
All I did was just delete it and change it, may I suggest changing the name to "poop" and then changing it "sneek" after that lol
@BelowAverageGaming lol that's what works for me. I thought you knew. It's a setting or something that does it I think
Could you make a video on this for SD cards? With 2TB microSD cards out, we have diminishing need for external USBs
Not totally true. SD cards are still not made for the write speeds needed to read games like Wii and Wii U. Sure they can play and they probably will most of the time. But they CAN cause failures in SD cards occasionally.
question: are they installed to the wii itself or to the hard drive/sd card as i have a lot of them 530 thanks
Installed to a USB/SD.

No, this is specifically for wiiware and virtual console titles

is the same with usb loader ?
Making the emunand yes, but I have no idea about how getting them to show up in USB loader would work

@BelowAverageGaming awesome man thank you 😁
Why can’t I post anything in your discord?
Probably because you didn't read the rules of the server and follow the directions from there
@@BelowAverageGaming yes I have read the rules many many times. I try to select the arrow to check out other channels and it does nothing.

That's probably your antivirus like mentioned in the video
@@BelowAverageGaming How do I "fix" this issue?
Turn off your antivirus before downloading it
@@BelowAverageGaming I found it
