She could have simply agreed that those exact reasons he mentioned are a major concern for insitititions but despite this, it may be compelling enough for risk-on long term retail investors. The complete disregarding of his very valid points and unnecessary low-blow on live television is of course enough to trigger someone. Now, could he have simply laughed and walked away? I don’t always agree with Steve, but he’s spot on with this. EV fundamentals are taking a huge hit and prices are dropping, China is eating their lunch in the non-US market, the products are stale, quality has always been an issue, and biggest of all - Elon will put out statements knowing full well they aren’t realistic nor achievable. He’s drunk his own Cool-aid for far too long.

Five minutes ago I just checked the Tesla website to see if Musk raised prices on inventory cars like he said he would do. I can see the cars are not discounted any longer. Steve should have checked out the tesla site before calling Musk a liar. He dislikes Musk, it’s obvious. And his short position on Tesla is emotional. That’s a bad mistake to make when investing in the stock market.
Tesla is the greatest company of our time. And Elon is the equivalent of 1. Thomas Edison, 2. Henry Ford, and 3. Albert Einstein . The guy runs 4 or 5 companies at the same time. He is the reason EV's are so popular and a better mousetrap of our time. I have owned the stock for 5 years and will not sell a single share unless the business goes astray. It is going fine with a few bumps in the road. Stay the course.

Steve W has always been grumpy and pessimistic and it hasn’t paid off. There’s no guarantee but if you’re a long term investor, the past can be very valuable to consider.

If these things were presented in the larger context the story would be much clearer. Try comparing their performance to the rest of the world and industries and the view would be much prettier. Short term headwinds for TSLA for sure. Bryn’s arguments are still valid. Tesla is an innovative company and I wouldnt discount them in the long term.
