As an investing enthusiast, I've kept aside a good sum of capital to invest for financial independence and early retirement, but my concern right now is the market rally being propaganda. Is this a good time to buy stocks, or do I wait for the crash?
The stock market can appear as a bewildering cauldron of fake news for new investors. I would advise using a CFP, giving him/her 2/3, and then investing the 1/3 on your own, but only if you have time to track stocks and educate yourself.
@@JerryPhillips-go5eo True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit a 90% rise from early last year. My CFP and I are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.
@@MichaelFrakes32 Congrats! The market to me is like a lucrative chess game, incredibly difficult to outperform, it's all about understanding how the world moves, its history, and psychology... mind disclosing info about your CFP? I'm quite curious.

No wonder he’s trying to get 56 billion out of them before it crashes.
The 56B package (in stock options) can't be sold for 5 years afher exercising them. So no, he's not trying to get any money out. It's not even worth 56B at the moment and it's unsure how much it's worth in 5 years.
@@channel4ferrets then why is he pushing soooo hard for it? Don’t be fooled. If he gets it, he will cash it in and if there are legal consequences he will deal with them in due time with a team of lawyers for years. That’s how the rich skirt the law and wear down the opposition. Those billions buys a lot of lawyer time with plenary of billions left over. No one needs 56 billion when the company is having issues.
@@channel4ferrets Either way, very bad for shareholders. $56B is larger than the market cap of GM/Ford, paid to one person.
@@xxIFNTxx The deal to pay this was approved by shareholder's 5 years ago when it was worth just 2B. Whether it's 56B or 100B or 1Trillion does not matter as long as share holders approve it - which they did in 2018.
@xxIFNTxx it's not bad for shareholders, the man delivered the goods. The biggest risk is no Musk.
hate to say it but it’s a reasonable point of view.

For Musk Cyber truck was more important then update every day car….. and now Robotaxi. Dreamer stuff.
yeah that is treating your customers as dispensable... or idiots.
Govt Social ism @ work.
“Dreamer stuff”, that is what made it all possible: creating an EV market and infrastructure when legacy makers had failed and big-oil didnt want it; SpaceX out doing NASA who had all the ‘best minds’ and gov financing support; his satellites; etc…
Dont count Tesla out yet…
Any investor betting on the robotaxi as the turnaround may as well take their money to the tables at Vegas. At least they'll have some fun.
That is exactly what was said at the beginning when Tesla first attempted to create the EV market and its infrastructure…

same analysts said ten years ago apple's growth is over, the innovation is over, iphone faces competition and is stale, totally missed a run up for the ages
Anything can happen, but highly unlikely. If you're down heavily DCA and hope it turns around in the next 5 years.😂
If that’s the case he was right. Apple has been stale. Can’t get pass 200 a share lol
@@user-yd3rg4cf8i um, look at apple's 10 year chart, son.
@@power2me1 Apple stock did well due to huge buybacks, not due innovation or exponential sales growth. Apple was a good short term play, but without innovation the company will not survive.
Tesla isn't exactly apple though. Tesla is facing major challenges right now, and they haven't spent nearly enough on R&D.
Wall Street is slow to pick up on the problems with Tesla. Musk has been asleep at the wheel for 2 years. And now suddenly Wall Street starts to downgrade the stock - when it’s obvious.
Cathie Wood March 2021 ARK report said TSLA stock be $3k a share by 2025. Her bear case was $1,500 a share. No worries, only 8 months to go. Elon will announce electric spaceship soon. Elon build amusement park on Mars. And Elon get more ideas by watching 1960's TV series Lost in Space while smoking weed

There was a 3 for 1 stock split in 2022 so you need to divide every quantity here by 3 if Cathie Wood made that statement in March 2021.
@@Integr8byDarts true. the prediction was 3 trillion market cap by 2025. The current MC is under 500b. Woods believed/s the lie of FSD and robotaxis, which were promised to be here before 2020. They don’t exist now and most likely never will. Elon lies all the time. It’s well documented
People kept telling me to sell my apple and amz stocks and buy tesla stocks...glad i didn't listen. I had a feeling tesla and other EV stocks were mostly hypes.
I remember buying Apple in the late 90’s when the price was dirt cheap. Apple was changing from the RISC processor to the Motorola chip. Because of this everyone had to rebuy all their applications. The talk back than was Apple might go bankrupt on this move. It turned out that the consumer gladly bought new applications to have the newer Motorola CPU. Look at Apple today. Of course I sold my 100 shares of Apple back than for a $400 dollar profit. Big mistake, those shares are worth over $2.8 million now.
Same talk with Tesla, it’s at an inflection point too. Either FSD and Robo taxis take off for big profits, or Tesla just keeps selling EVs and just becomes another Ford or GM worth $25 a share. The stock market is a gamble. I’m buying more Tesla on the dip. I’ll take my chances. Hopefully my bet pays off big. I’ll hold long term this time.
I remember AAPL when Warren Buffet bought it in 2016. The difference is, TSLA is by no means "dirt cheap" at current price, for that reason, I will wait until the price comes down to "reasonable" or "cheap" before I strike. I am not willing to pay "growth" price for a "no growth" company in near term
100 after earnings
He pushed to get the $56B. He knew the stock price would fall to a penny after the robot taxi's announcement because he knew it would be another lie.
It's a payment in stock options and he can't sell within 5 years after exercising them.
@@channel4ferrets Either way, very bad for shareholders. $56B is larger than the market cap of GM/Ford, paid to one person.
Im told Its grossly misleading to say 56 bill pay off... the figure was based on the evaluation of the stocks at the time it was being pursued... now the share peice has fallen so will the figure of 56 billion but the media etc continue to cling to the 56 bil based in the share price at that time... and the shares he is pursuing are because he made a deal many years ago that if he hit certain targets that would be his share bonus and he hit those targets.
Love him or hate him you have to pay the man if he hit the targets his deal was pinned to
Even worse, it's driven by pure ego. Last year he sold off $15 billion in personal Tesla stock (when that was announced, I question the judgement of any stockholder that chose to hold theirs). How is that not good enough? How many billions does he need? At this point, it's just a meaningless number.
Tesla robo taxi is coming out on 8. 100% not a lie.
Doesn’t look great at the moment but I wouldn’t bet long term against Elon and Tesla.
Here's why: you can't continually ignore poor performance. For anybody that thinks this is a poor decision, I'd ask, "How much failure are you willing to accept? You've already been accepting a lot!"
Robo taxi!? Next will be electric scooters, closely followed by battery powered roller skates. I would not be long on TSLA.
I do not understand how many lineups do you want to have? As convoluted and many as Mercedes?? Ain't it smarter to have a leaner lineup like AAPL and TSLA?
ROFL people finally back to reality and realize Tesla is waaaay overpriced.

tesla is under priced
@@Just_a_random_birb The hard data suggest otherwise!
so the energy storage and Optimus, no longer in the equation? not sure who or what to believe just one bash job after another lately
According to Tesla’s own reports they don’t make much money off energy storage. Optimus is not a commercial product at this point. You got to leave the cult a some point guy
So Steve Weiss was right, or does he just not like Elon? LOL!
TLSA has been priced for perfection and been viewed as the only show in town. Early adopters have adopted & many other manufacturers have joined the game and a stale product lineup. Failed promises and the hype engine sputtering and pus no auto maker, makes money on small cars not with the margins Tesla is use too. Simple fact Tesla is not a tech company! Tesla is a car company that uses a great deal of technology.
Looks like nobody is buying this stock except Cathie Wood😀
Great point. Can't argue with the man on these bullet points.
TSLA is a stock whose value depends on Elon Musk. He's so unpredictable that he could very well wake up one day and say, "You know what? I'm tired of this. I'm done with EV cars." And the stock just goes straight to hell and becomes a meme stock.
Kathy just Tweeted buy the Dip😂😂😂😂😂😂
How will these Robotaxi’s handle heavy rain, snow, fog, etc? Especially when it likely uses the camera only FSD software?
Maybe have extra large rubber bumpers with big springs.
Yeah i drove my sister model 3 in thunder storm with FSD on. no problems.
Elon has already debunked that Model 2 is NOT Cancelled. Are these analysts running their research on mainstream media??
As expected
Popping bubble.
The just released Toyota Camry hybrid just put yet another nail in the current e.v. industry
Elon can afford to get that pure stuff by the pound...
I wouldn't buy a single share because the bottom is no where near. Maybe this doesn't sound practical it considering Elon is the richest man in the world and if he wants to sell cars he should finance Teslas at 3.5% using his own money as the bank. Then sales would absolutely skyrocket again.
Elon is not the richest man in the world, the richest man in the world is the guy who owns Hennessey/Louis Vuitton his name is Bernault or something like that
As someone in the demographic to purchase an EV or even multiple in the near future. None of my personal bios was will ever go to Tesla. I don’t even like getting them as Ubers. Lots of consumers and investors share this sentiment and it’s hard for me to see away out of the massive hole he continues to dig himself in. He’s lucky the government loves giving his “successful” companies subsidies.. massive downside.

It seems that ugly Cybertruck is not a blockbuster, at all.
It really is so ugly plus it's not even a practical car to use on a daily basis. Elon should have focused on the model 2 💯💯💯💯💯
Hummer in disguise. Musk idea while high
Get real Tesla Pumpers Elon needs to get his priority and get off X and spending his time doing stupid tweets! As we all know when Elon bought Tweeter, Tesla has been going downhill and continue to do so affecting his decision making and priority's. When Elon made Cyber Truck his first priority over the $25,000 sub compact EV that was a wrong decision! Now Elon priority to do the ROBO Taxi first than the $25,000 sub compact EV is a very bad decision as Tesla can sell millions of more sub compact EVs than Cyber truck and ROBO Taxi. The Tesla sub compact that we all were waiting for
and thought Tesla was going to the first to have a $25,000 EV before the competition will take over. I hope Elon change his mind and make Tesla $25,000 sub compact EV model 2 which will be the number 1 EV even if the competition is coming but Elon need to push to have this manufacture quickly. The layoff should have happened when they started losing revenues and they probably need to do another 10% to show Wall Street Tesla can be profitable. So, the earning call is going to be the big factor if stockholder will leave Tesla as the sub compact EV will be the key to bring in the revenues needed to solve FSD and to produce the ROBO Taxi which will take years to solve and to have it permitted to run in any State!
Spoiler: there was never going going to be a $25k sub compact EV. It was all just for juicing the stock.

The fact that he's not modeling Robotaxi revenue is an admission that he's not qualified to cover Tesla as an analyst... I wonder how many other analysts fit this description. I bet the percentage is high.
Robotaxi is a pipe dream and a distraction to hide the fact that Tesla is still overvalued.
He said he is accounting for it (and FSD) in the multiple, which at 42x is quite generous. Both FSD and Robotaxi are fully priced into the stock price. These are not insider secrets that only you know about. Without FSD and Robotaxi, the stock price would be a lot lower than it is now.
@@free-qe6wx If you account for the total addressable market, he's no where near close. He shouldn't model it fully of course because Tesla doesn't have Robotaxi's yet. Also FSD although promising and getting better as we speak, isn't fully there
