If I can get it running then Im going to turn it into something really cool. tune in and follow along and see how it turns out. keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck. Hopefully the motorcycle gods smile on me, and I come out with a really cool motorcycle on the other side. As always people, ride safe and live life behind bars.

Hey man as always thanks for taking the time to comment. I think it turned out super sweet, and I agree I can't get over how well it's running either. I have no idea the history on this bike or when the last time it was started. Plus I can't get over how good it sounds, those straight pipes on it really sound nice. I'm going out to work on it tomorrow right now and start the next video in this build series. Stay tuned we'll see how it turns out in the end. Thanks again man.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and the time to comment on it. I figured it would probably work okay. I mean the motor doesn't know what the manifold is like, or what it's made out of or even if it has one or two carbs. All It knows is if it's getting gas to the cylinders or not, and that seems to get it there. Thanks again and ride safe if you're somewhere where you can ride at this time of year.

Got the exact model in the garage xv750 great to hear one without the starter crying 😂 great work brother it was awesome to see such ingenuity..was thinking of single carbing this one since the duals have to be rebuilt but i was worried about finding a good manifold fix and carb but this saved me a ton of time and material ..greqt work you got a new subscriber..you took the time to explain and you were honest..great content cant wait to get back to work on it now..thanks for the inspiration

Hey man thanks for checking out the channel. I bought a brand new 1985 750 back in 85 and the starter on that used to scream like a banshee it drove me absolutely crazy. now they know how to fix that, back then they hadn't figured it out yet and I didn't know then what I know now regretfully. yes definitely check out the two into one carburetor. I got to get it warmed up and adjust it up but it seems like it's going to run fine . it just seems like the route to go if I keep the originals I got to rebuild and clean two carbs then I got a bench sink them and then I got to get them on the bike and adjust them and then hook up vacuum gauges and sink them again. It just seems a lot simpler to put one carb on their adjust it up and be done with it. no synchronization involved and I'm glad to have been an inspiration. people commenting like you do, keep me inspired so thank you for that. Stay tuned to see how it turns out. ride safe and live life Behind Bars.

They are actually a rather expensive sparkplug you might want to try cleaning them up and reusing them they work rather well

Hey thanks for checking out the channel yeah I'm going to clean them up because they look like they might be expensive plugs I've never seen any like that I know when I first fired it up it looked like it was only running on the front cylinder had smoke popping out of that pipe and nothing out of the rear probably just because of the car I was running so I'm going to check and see if I get spark out of both of them if so I am going to clean them up and keep them thanks again for checking out the channel share it with your friends ride safe and live life Behind Bars

My first road bike was a 1982 Virago 920. I was about 18 it didn't run think I got it for like 500 bucks. I remember the starter was a clunky son of ah bitch. 36:11 sounded simular to yours with exhaust leaks 😆

Hey thanks for checking out the channel, what a coincidence my first road bike was a 1985 700 I bought a brand new from the dealer. I picked it up April 1st and wrote it the whole year right through winter. It was the only Transportation I had, and yes the starter on that was pretty bad on it too. it started not too long after I got it it was probably only a year or two old when the starter started making all kinds of noise. Thanks again for watching, and live life Behind Bars.
