My xv1100 is same single in take and original virago front carb(no tune) But engine balance not well Spark plug good. Front 1cyl does work well What s problem?
IV got a jks intake on mine when I got it foul plugs 1/16 drill bit thru the jet way to big IV worked on 2 of these bikes best IV got out of them is I changed the main jet 105 out of a China 150 cc scooter runs great doesn't foul plugs plugs perfic color and 33mpg alot better than 10mpg and boost sensor vacum line removed and caped way to much vacum for it
Friend..can you tell why when you start the ignition, the tube that is above the carburetor pours gasoline?

is you fuel tank below the seat? are you using a fuel pump to feed the carb? I'm having flooding problems on my new CV carb. thanks

Hay guys carburetor question. I have a 85 yamaha virago xv1000 converted to single carb using a Mikuni HS40. You think a 42.5 pilot jet is to big?
Not sure, I have an xv700 and I’m messing around w jets now, 37.5 is too lean for my setup (Jardeen exhaust, flat air filter).
What jet sizes did you use in that cv

I have the same manifold and cv40 carb but my stock throttle cable does not fit. What kind of throttle cable are you using?
