    $67k for a 2024 TRD PRO; is insane. There are full sized trucks and other cars you can buy with that money. In fact, it would make sense if you wanted a Tacoma to buy a 2024 TRD Off Road and invested the remaining balance.

    Gotta be frank I like the way the Tacoma and 4Runner look, but I think they need to re evaluate their pricing on the trail hunter and TRD pro. The MSRP isn’t taking into account the dealer mark ups and there’s other competition at the price points.

    The Trailhunter is definitely cool, but it's just way too expensive and the intake would drive me nuts. I'd rather buy the Offroad with the stabilizer disconnect, upgrade the suspension, buy some nice Methods and save a ton of money. If you really want a premade off-road truck then you can get a Raptor or a Bison for a lot less money.

    If this Hybrid Engine Option is made available on the TRD PRERUNNER (The Trim that's only available in a Supercab/XtraCab), it would be the best-selling trim for the 4th Gen Tacoma.
    Alas, it's only available on the TRD Sport at Minimum, which makes this is a Hard Sell at the moment.
    I would honestly consider trading up from a '23 SR5 V6 4x4 IF they make this engine available in the TRD Prerunner Trim...
    A Two-Seater Taco with a Hybrid Engine, RWD, Storage Space in the Rear and Bed, with Off-Road Tires and Rear Locker?

    Love both trucks but the monthly payments + APR%, hard to pallet that😮. The only advantage from the 3rd to 4th Gen that I’ve experienced is the upgrade of the 8-speed transmission and maybe a few bells and whistles of the overall truck platform but other than that, the 4 banger turbo’s mid to high range is nothing to brag about in my humble opinion. I was building on their website today and I built a fully loaded TRD Offroad Premium and a Trailhunter fully loaded with everything I could possibly want. The difference was $5k. To me, that's not much, considering if I went and tried to get each individual part the Trailhunter has that the TRD Offroad Premium does not, it would cost well over $5k. I think people get caught up in the price of the truck but they don't realize it's not just the truck they're getting. There is a lot done aftermarket-wise straight from the factory that accounts for that money. High mount air intake (usually $500-700), 3 different steel skid plates (this can cost over $1k by itself), rock sliders (frequently cost about $1k), ARB steel bumpers (Usually a little over $1k), premium OME suspension (Usually over $1k) , premium Rigid lighting (Can also be about $1k if not more) , and I'm pretty sure the sport bar on the back of the trailhunter comes standard too so that could be anywhere from $300-700. Suddenly, that 5k difference doesn't seem so bad. The real question is why they let the TRD Offroad Premium get so expensive despite having none of the things I just mentioned. I could see being upset about the price of the trailhunter if it wasn't so close to what the TRD Offroad Premium goes for but the TRD Offroad Premium doesn't give nearly as much.

    Love the videos, Chloe, and as far as the vehicles themselves, they’re cool. I do have reservations re: the 4cyl turbo, but…most of us do. And most of us believe that if there are problems, Toyota will iron them out. HOWEVER…for a couple vehicles that will be made in the quality-deficient Mexico plants, these vehicles are disgustingly overpriced. I’m not using hyperbole, I don’t think…I mean it. It’s a disgusting, sad, pathetic, unwise slap on their customers faces. I’m not saying this because I’m bitter, that I want one but can’t afford it. I have $130k cash ready to purchase a vehicle, and I’ve just been waiting to see what Toyota was going to do with the tacos & the 4Runner. So I could buy two of whichever I’d like and not be hurting. It’s about PRINCIPLE. These prices are a joke. I’d GLADLY buy a Colorado ZR2 before even thinking seriously about one of these two top offerings from Toyota. I think your excitement over the truck is warranted. I get it. But I don’t think the excitement necessarily is an endorsement in the price. I’ll be purchasing a 2024 4Runner TRD Pro next month. It may be one of the last great Toyotas for a while.

      @sueddo2634 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      As a current 2021 TRD Pro owner along with many of my friends who own one, we care about rear seat room and leg room. It's not about the fact that it's somewhat tight, it's the fact that it's so tight I can't even use the seats in a pinch to fit a child seat in the back or haul people that aren't sub 5 feet tall. It's a truck at the end of the day and I need it to perform truck duties not "look at my insane isodynamic seats" that my suspension isn't even good enough to exploit to the full potential. If I were to buy a truck solely for 100% offroading to actually utilize any type of specifically built seat I wouldn't be looking at a TRD, i'd be looking at a Raptor. Furthermore, a few reviewers already stated these seats seem to be meh compared to what Toyota has been advertising them as. So i'm not sure if your opinion is based on your ownership experience or just speculation.
