They dropped 1 of 6 felony charges. Shooter had ran the two boys off the road, tried wrecking them multiple times, and started the incident. He also rolled down his window and antagonized an easily avoidable confrontation, instead of driving off he invited the boys to a unfair fight and purposely put himself in danger to antagonize. He also fired directly into the passenger side of that car... Imagine that was your car and someone who had sat in your passenger seat was with you.

Happened in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jason Henkle (the van driver). In the end, he was cleared of all charges. The guy who punched him through the window was charged, and YES he survived. He was shot in the arm and shoulder.

My son was injured in the hand by shrapnel when a bullet hit his 4wheeler. It broke two fingers almost tearing one off. He had to have reconstructive surgery to pin the broken fingers and to sew up the shrapnel wounds. His cost for treatment after insurance was $6,000. The neighbor got a year and a rehab program. My son got a hand that will never be the same.

Federal law enforcement can execute no-knock raids, and seize people's assets and cash without a court order or criminal conviction, so I'm sure they can prosecute someone on a gun charge, no matter how obscure the statute.

They dropped 1 of 6 felony charges. Shooter had ran the two boys off the road, tried wrecking them multiple times, and started the incident. He also rolled down his window and antagonized an easily avoidable confrontation, instead of driving off he invited the boys to a unfair fight and purposely put himself in danger to antagonize. He also fired directly into the passenger side of that car... Imagine that was your car and someone who had sat in your passenger seat was with you.

The guy had mistook my stepdad for someone else who cut him off with a similar car. This was one of the first self-defense cases after Texas had started concealed carry permits.

Happened in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jason Henkle (the van driver). In the end, he was cleared of all charges. The guy who punched him through the window was charged, and YES he survived. He was shot in the arm and shoulder.

My son was fishing at his dad’s farm pond when the drunk neighbor sprayed bullets from an AR-15 into the woods. My son was injured in the hand by shrapnel when a bullet hit his 4wheeler.
It broke two fingers almost tearing one off. He had to have reconstructive surgery to pin the broken fingers and to sew up the shrapnel wounds. His cost for treatment after insurance was $6,000.
The neighbor got a year and a rehab program. My son got a hand that will never be the same.
