- In today's video, I give you all an update on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma as it crosses 75k miles! I complete a few maintenance items, including a rear diff fluid change, oil change, Techron treatment, tire rotation, and more! I also take a trip to Off-Road Warehouse to get a new wheel bearing installed. And lastly... I share some (sparse) details about a new vehicle I ordered 😁

Enjoy your channel. Thanks for the clear and informative updates on your Gen 3. Love seeing someone learn and own their vehicle upkeep and upgrading. So different than buying and just paying a shop to upgrade and show off. So much pride in doing things yourself.
My guess is the Tacoma Pro and why every video Chloe has with the Pro smiles and excitement there is no doubt.

Toyota makes quality parts. I've used a ton of aftermarket parts on other brands over my life but for my Taco I think it's better to stick with OEM

As a 3rd gen owner as well, I'll never sell my current truck. It doesn't go 0 to 60 like newer tech but I know it will surpass 300k. People have documented to pass that marker. Im going to wait 5-10 yrs to see how the new generation perform. Thank you for willing to bite the bullet and try it out for the rest of us.
I’m here to give testimony to the benefit of going OEM only on a Toyota. My 2009 Corolla just clocked 300,000 miles and I’ve on every replacement part done OEM from my local dealership. Mostly done myself I’ve never regretted it I got my Toyota for liability and I’m keeping it Toyota. We think in the moment on expenditures but the value comes in durability and smooth performance. You’re preaching it right Chloe good job!

U should wash your air fliter and clean your air mass sensor and your throttle body when you change your engine oil. Ive been doing that on my 2017 Tacoma trd sport. It has 441,000 km. And it still drives like new. And i get better gas mileage now then before.
How do you clean the air mass sensor and throttle body?
U need to buy the air mass sensor spray bottle. U need to un screw the air mass sensor and spray. It will clean the metal sensor. Let it air dry. Will dry quick. Then screw it back in. Same thing with the throat body. Need to but the spray that says throttle body. The spary in the throttle plate and inside. U can use a toothbrush to clean the carbon. Then put back everything together. The start the vehicle. It will take alittle to start cos of the throttle body cleaner to burn. Once the vehicle starts running u might see some smoke out of the tail pipe thats the cleaner burning its working. Then take it for a drive to clean out. You will notice the difference of the pick up and the lost power.
I have a Honda Ridgeline 2022..and I’m gonna be getting her some AT tires next year and possibly a 2 inch lift
Appreciate the update. It would be interesting if Chloe adapted the new pro seats to the third gen. I'm guessing either heated seat pads or switching to PRP race seats though.

I loved watching your videos last few days and I was looking for a truck last month. Checked some 3rd Gen Tacomas here in Seattle but they are very expensive so I ended up buying a 2018 Nissan Frontier. :)

One thing you may wanna see about getting done is air intake swap from Rough Country. Get cleaner smoother air flow and allows a couple mpg and a tad hours power as well.

If you go ECGS gears someday their oil they recommend is like pumping molasses in... Took me like an hour to fill both diffs...
Usually when I get an alignment I have them rotate the tires first.

You must get this question a lot but any plans for transmission maintenance? Are you planning to do any drain and fills?
I know there’s debate about sealed transmissions and lifetime fluid…and naturally people ask well how many miles does “lifetime” mean.
Anyways, just curious since I don’t think I’ve seen a transmission maintenance video from ur channel.

My guess is that you plan to get the new Land Cruiser. Probably the 1958 since it gives you the most opportunity to build up.
The new 4 runner will not be available till 2025 , so since you said you done ordered the vehicle you want I'm going to guess it's one that's already available but just waiting for whatever they do that causes a delay ,so with that BIENG said I'm guessing it's going to be the pro tacoma

Is it OK to run lsd additives with the rear lockers? Valvoline 75w-90 have lsd additives. Isn't it supposed to be 6.2qt with filter?
It will be fine as long as it meets the required GL-5 gear oil specification, which can be found on gear oil packaging. Technically, the manual states to use 75W-85, which isn't hard to find and is affordable. Motul makes it and can be found online at Summit Racing, Amazon, and other places. Although, I haven't seen it in the squeeze packs. The rear differential requires 4 QT. Also, you'll need two gaskets for the fill and drain plug, which is part number 12157-10010.

I think your next vehicle is the 1958 Land Cruiser. You are keeping your truck so there is no need for another Truck and the 1958 Land Cruiser is made to build up. More content for the channel.

Well I just hit 173k miles on my work van. 2018 dodge caravan. Surprisingly I only had a dead battery. Nothing major outside of wear and tear. Although I don’t pay for repairs but I am responsible for taking it in for service or repairs. So 75k mikes on a Toyota is nothing
