Federal clean air act will be violated by catless down pipes so they are illegal for all on road vehicles. Everything I've read says high flow cats are the way to go truck won't throw a code and they flow enough to not mess with performance.
i bought 2014 at 144k miles. put catch can on and and 177k i took intake off wasnt really that bad. i think its a maintenance compounded problem. keep up on maintenance and the catch can is just gonna be good for accumulating condensation inside the aluminum can more than anything

@@Motoroso you think that’s the case for the gen2 3.5? Swapping one injector back to the valve for each cylinder was supposed to fix that crude problem. Makes sense

Just spent 5500 bucks so the dealership could fix my 2015 F150 ecoboost with 50k miles on it. I bought it for 52000 at the same dealership. They made a mint of cash by me loyally following their maintenance plan. The pile came with extended gas tank and tow package. Good thing I never tried towing anything. Probably would have made it break down faster. Can't give it away. It taught me to never buy one of the worst trucks ever. It was specially built in Michigan (came with a cute sticker saying so). So like the dog doo doo. This piile is sitting in my yard to rot. Why at least it can't break down and gets better gas mileage and trying to get rid of it has been fruitless. I strongly suggest do not buy this model. It will cost you only grief and cash.
My work truck is a 13 eco boost, it runs like a dream. 200k miles and it runs better than when I got it, after market plugs and oil change every 3k. Then like 4 cycles of injector cleaner after oil change. But some trucks just come defective.
Seems like recipes for a Bro-dozer. Exhaust in a ecoboost? Pass. Fender flares? Nope. The 17 doesn’t need a catch can. This vid is a waste of your time.

The downpipe is the Y-pipe though?

So those frimt grills do they have options for front cameras?
Oil catch can should be #1, no ifs ands or buts.

Not on post 2017. They have dual injection. Burns off on the port.

Looking to spruce on my exhaust a bit on 2017 3.5 f150..any suggestions? Thanks.
Borla attack cat back exhaust best on the market for the ecoboost
I like the sound of the MBRP 4". In my opinion best sound I've heard.
218k on a gen1 Ecoboost. No issues, not catch can, let the v8 die. Total click bait vid
That grille is ugly you did a great job tryna sell a grille tho

I put a catch can on my 2019 and it catches a ton of oil. I recommend it.
the cosmetic shit...yea pass. but an exhaust? absolutely, it frees up horsepower especially after a tune
I threw a 3' mbrp on my ecoboost and it sounds incredible now
