      LOVE mine, honesty first bought it only because of its Starship Troopers look appeal...and it was semi auto...wasn't expecting a whole lot. Even during break-in, never one hiccup...nothing...nada...it just ran and ran and ran. True , I only fed it it buckshot and slugs during break-in...but now it runs everything. Well , never limp wristed low base under 1100fps little 7.5/8 stuff....but I feed it 1100-1330fps #4 shot 1 1/8-1 1/4 oz loads and it loves em. One of my favorite firearm purchases for sure.

      Mine went back 3 times before it would feed all 3 tubes without an issue. First time I got a full 15 out of it, it was out on consignment, and sold 4 days later.
      I'm not alone. Search for ts12 issues, and you'll find it's in fact, not the best.

    I had some FTF issues for the first 100-150 rounds but after that it was butter. The manual says to find an ammo the gun likes and stick with it but honestly, after the break-in, my TS12 doesn't give a damn. It eats everything above 1100fps. Easy to field strip and clean as well. Love this gun

    As the proud and happy owner of a TS-12, it really is the best for certain scenarios.
    IMO it only falls short of an M4 for long range accuracy. If I were duck or deer hunting
    Id take an M4 over my TS12 every time. Again accuracy but also weight.
    But for every other use Id rather have my TS12. Combat, home defense whatever.
    That being said the TS12 is a new gun. It doesnt have 10+ years under its belt. Which
    folks critical of it would point out. That said many folks here on YT and other sites have
    weighed in on their experiences. Nearly all have said its been rock solid. Which has been
    my experience as well. Over on Military Arms Channel, they had a horrible initial test of it.
    Only to have it resolved with minor lubrication in the video. I cant say Im even past the break
    in period and done no maintenance to it yet. Been rock solid. So much so I need to remember
    to clean and lube it LOL.
    As of yet there is nothing like the TS12 in design or comparable $. Now if cost were no object
    Id take an AA-12. But my pockets arent that deep. But the TS12's bullpup design gives it working
    class man's AA-12 recoil.
    I love how people point out that John Wick was shown with a Kel-Tec KSG which would never
    happen in that narrative. But a TS-12 would have been perfectly acceptable. Kel makes some
    nice guns. But a KSG vs a TS-12.... yeah Im biased I know. But......

      I of course love my Benelli, but the first day of me having and shooting the TS-12, I was thinking that it was a gun that could definitely replace my Benelli. I usually don't put trust in a gun soon as I get it but the fact that IWI didn't release it until it was tested and test heard, gave me a extremely high trust in it. That factor played a big part in me wanting one. Thanks for watching!!

    Oh also. I love how you rotate the cylinder after clearing the 3rd tube expecting more.
    Its such a fast and fluid design to empty, people do that all the time. Again nothing else like it.
    Yes its more complicated than a old school pump shotgun. But with a bit of practice and understanding
    of its design. Its not that difficult to use. For some it will be more work than its worth. Which is good as
    they shouldn't be using it given that.
    My brother poked fun at me buying a Halo shotgun. On Military Arms Channel he said
    I wasnt expecting to like this shotgun. But after using it I do. My brother said the same thing.
    Its all about the right tool for the job. Long range give me an M4. Everything else, love my TS12.

    I watched this video and your previous comparison video. I purchased my TS-12 first, after a couple months of careful research and maybe close to 100 videos. I also purchased a UTS-15, but that was more of an impulse buy, it just cried out to me from the wall of the shop LOL! I have yet to fire either one, I only make it to a range a few times a year :/
    A friend keeps telling me I need an M4 instead; but you know, after careful consideration.........as long as the TS-12 proves reliable and durable, it seems to beat the M4 in pretty much every category that counts. Cheaper, shorter (better CQB), holds more rounds, equally as easy to reload. I can't find a good reason to spend more for an M4 besides the Benelli name, and IWI isn't a name to sneeze at either. Israel makes good shit too.
    For the UTS-15, I've run into a problem. The slots on the side LOOK like M-LOK, but they're not, and I can't figure out how to mount a sling. What do you suggest? I consider a sling a must-have.

    • @308c
      @308c  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would choose the TS-12 over the M4 as well for all the reasons you stated. As for a sling for the UTS, I really don't know. I never considered putting a sling on mine. I Google UTS 15 sling adapter and couldn't find anything. I did see pictures with them having sling swivels.

    • @BattleshipSailorBB63
      @BattleshipSailorBB63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@308c Thanks for the reply! I think the sling swivels came from the factory on older Versions than mine and yours; and from pictures, they appear to replace one of the Allen bolts under the feed tube and one of the C-clip retained fasteners near the butt. FYI utas-usa is the new contact despite the website listed in the manual. Here's an Email I recieved in response to a question:
      "UTAS-USA has recently acquired UTAS and their Tactical Shotgun line. Going forward, we are developing processes and organizing our newly acquired inventory to better address warranty, service and sales. We are currently designing a website client portal. Which will allow our clients to obtain an RMA number and ship their firearms directly to our warranty/ service center(s). As you might imagine things are somewhat hectic and we ask for your patience until we are better able to address client concerns.

      An e-commerce section for the UTAS Tactical Shotgun line will be incorporated into our website.

      The XTR-12 and UTS-15 shotguns have a 1-year limited warranty to the original purchaser from date of purchase. It would be beneficial even if you didn’t purchase within the past year to fill out the warranty information on our website. You can then be updated as to any generation upgrades that are compatible with your specific shotgun or any new accessories that might become available."
      Okay, sorry about that side tangent! Back to the actual TS-12 content relative to THIS video!

    While I kind of want the TS12, I also want more companies to adopt either the side loading port that the TS12 has or even a variant of it. Definitely might take a new redesign for shotguns, but it seems much easier to load than loading at the bottom.

    Saw both this and a DP-12 at my local shop. After thinking about it hard for about a week I decided to go with the DP-12. The deciding factor was the overall reliability of a pump while being able to get off two rounds per pump. The Tavor was so tempting tho man. I still may pick one up but I have quite a few different types of shotguns already so we'll see.
    I will say that the weight on the DP-12 is a bitch. Although it definitely soaks up the recoil of buck and slugs, I was practicing some corner, concealment drills and that thing will wear your arms out SMH lol.

    • @308c
      @308c  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      My only issue with the DB-12 is if you don't load both tubes evenly at some point in time you're going to get a click-boom or boom-click, and the more uneven you load the tubes the more thats going to happen. If it's being used for a fight shotgun that could be trouble if you need to reload and keep fighting.

    • @m.danielmills7091
      @m.danielmills7091 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@308c EXCELLENT observation. I've actually done that before. It takes discipline to just keep squeezing the trigger and racking thru it. It can definitely throw you off tho.
      That said with training you should never have that issue in the initial load up as you have time to check and recheck it to make sure all 14 are in. Now reloading under pressure is where I see that as an issue.
      For me my defensive plan if I'm using it as a primary defensive weapon is if I have to use 14-16 rounds of 00 buck then it's time to transition to my carbine cuz I'm having a really bad day!

    that jam was unusual. it was like the bolt didn't move back at all from the looks of it. My one concern with the ts12 is the long-term durability between all the polymer and the somewhat complicated-looking internals. Do you have any updates or concerns?

    • @308c
      @308c  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't forsee the polymer wearing out. Most of the moving parts are polymer on polymer and metal on metal. I took it aparts and it's a little complicated for a full brake down but not nearly as bad as it looks. I won't take it apart to clean it every time. That's when you start to lose and wear out parts faster.

      IWI is well know for making battle tested and proven firearms. The gun was designed specifically to shot 3" magnum rounds. Its a sledgehammer. I highly recommend you give one a try.

    Should have had the shells out of the Box, just sitting there on the table ready to go...

    • @308c

      The problem was that is, when I go to grad them I have a high chance of knocking some off the table, and with them in the box if I needed to move I'd just take the box and go.

    Dude, as an ex-cop, I'll say: your loading skills are atrocious and will get you killed in a gunfight. You should train yourself to "Double-Load" your shells, 2 at a time from a belt or vest shell carrier on weapons like the T/S12 and a few others. You should be seeing times in the 20 to 25 second range for 25 shells. 40+ seconds is getting into the life-threatening range.

      @308c  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Truth be told, if I ever have to use that many rounds SHTF for this country. In which case I would have a pistol and transition too. The only time I'd use shotguns by it's self is home defense.

      @@308c Lol, agreed. The 12Ga., the pistol and a good assault rifle have their own Nitch, that when used right can keep you alive. I'm good with a shotgun, super good with a pistol (7 years on the pistol team). The rifle I'm not very good, esp. when it comes to speed and long distance. Rifle against rifle, they would hit me long before I hit them.
