- The video discusses the use of apple cider vinegar (ACV) for treating Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). - Two potential benefits of using ACV are outlined: boosting stomach acid before meals and indirectly improving vagal tone, which is crucial for motility. - ACV's ability to increase stomach acid is seen as beneficial for digestion and microbial control in the small bowel. - The neurological impact on vagal tone, influenced by ACV, is explained, highlighting its potential positive effects on various bodily functions. - The video also mentions a potential drawback for some individuals, particularly those sensitive to histamine. ACV's histamine-triggering properties might not be suitable for those with histamine-related issues, and alternative approaches are suggested.
The fact that you delve into such depths is amazing, i just have so much respect for you to provide us with such great information! I have been SIBO free for a while but im back🥲😂😂i've had like 4tsp of amazing raw, organic, local honey for the last one month ignoring my bloating and stomachache and now i've got a full blown SIBO with the nausea and worse bloating and burping. I guess my MMC and digestive system wasn't strong enough to digest large amount of honey yet. I'll start watching all the videos to re-educate myself and...im just so damn happy i have a trusted source like this channel to turn back to. I'm so grateful for everything you do, thank you so much.
How about the fact that vinegar is used to dissolve calcium/hard water deposits in your plumbing and appliances and biofilms are just bacteria that surround themselves in these same deposits, making them impossible to reach to kill. Vinegar has the ability to dissolve these biofilms making it possible for the meds to get to the bacteria and do their job. Thanks
My understanding about the use of ACV was that it was beneficial to people whose stomach acid production was of lowered volume, such as older people like myself. ACV is used to increase the amount of acid in the stomach, not its acidity.
Great insight about ACV and the taste of it that can trigger stomach acid. Perhaps that is the reason why bitter herbs are eaten before a meal - it is the bitterness on the tongue.
Im so overwhelmed. I have methane SIBO and take a PPI for Barrett’s and a hiatal hernia. Should I take ACV vs what prokinetic should use? I’m also taking probiotics and IB guard
What is the order for taking SIBO antimicrobials is better before or after lunch ? Is it better to wait 3 hours after lunch etc etc..? And once kill phase is over when do i start taking probiotics during the day before lunch after lunch or hours after antimicrobials?
How does ACV which is acetic acid, help increase stomach acid which is HCL? How does that work? What is it about ACV that is different from other vinegar? I understand about the ‘mother’, but how is that related?
Thank-you very much, this is all great information. I have what I think might be intractable SIBO due to missing my terminal ileum, ileocaecal valve & half of my ascending colon (due to a late diagnosed intussusception). It is also complicated by small fibre neuropathy which has slowed my GI system considerably (everything from swallowing ability to being able to pass a movement). Do you think you might be able to help my particular situation through your private appointment option?
@mohammedsaffyan1183 how so? please explain why it makes it worse? You need to explain the reasoning instead of saying no it makes it worse... how Does it make it worse and do you have a link for a study that you read that says so?? Because there are plenty of firemented foods that are great for us so what your saying doesn't help anyone or the community present in the comments trying to understand.
How do you consume ACV without damaging your tooth enamel? I heard of someone who was sipping it throughout the day, mixed with water, and his teeth were in bad shape. He thought he was helping his gut, but he was ruining his teeth.
Hi, I’ve listened to 4 minutes of your video and you haven’t explained what SIBO means. If you would put the meaning in your title it would help because I know you don’t want to redo the video. Perhaps you could have the definition inside the video. I don’t know. I don’t know what SIBO means so I’ll go to someone else’s video.
Thanks for the review! SIBO means Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Here's a playlist where you can start to know more: th-cam.com/video/PRopXyej03A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Go-5_QOWdw8Pzu9v. Hope it helps!
I Find that when I take apple cider vinegar it helps my stomach calm down and reduces acid reflux but for me and quite a few other people in my family it causes anal bleeding. Coincedentally so does the consumption of tomato sauce or tomato products. Any comments?
#1-get a colonoscopy #2-have that bleeding checked with a real Dr. #3-maybe your allergic? Not sure but, bleeding isn't good. That's a colon cancer sign. Get checked to be sure then go from there.

I took 2 tablespoons of acv everyday for a month and it stopped all my bowl movements.
What’s the reason?
Apple cider vinegar might lower potassium levels in the blood.
Yes happened to me caused Afib. Have to limit to 1 T/ day . Not every meal

Thank you for this information. Very informative. What is the best way to take ACV, add tbsp to water, or ACV gummies?😀
