    At 59 years old and in declining health, introduced the daily two tablespoon ACV routine into my new clean eating and more active lifestyle program that resulted in 45 lbs weight loss, reversal of diabetes, healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels no longer requiring medication. It could just be a placebo affect but I strongly recommend if your efforts to get healthy are starting to stagnate or not getting the results you want or simply looking for improved bodily function, give it a try. I believe ACV is serving me well.

    Some 6-7 years ago as I approached the age of 50, I started reading books on health. The first book and concept I learned was about keeping the body’s ph alkaline.
    So believing what the book so passionately advocated, I wrongly preached to everyone how “alkalinity” was the ‘key to health’.
    This video, which like all of Dr Ekberg’s vids’, explains in such detail & evidence that you just know he’s right & more importantly he’s telling the ‘Truth’.
    That’s why I now preach to everyone the ‘key to health’ is to tune into Dr Ekberg on TH-cam.

    A true scientist makes discoveries that simplify natures laws. Dr Ekberg is a true scientist.

    • @viperracing2889
      @viperracing2889 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wouldn't call him a "true scientist". In fact, he has made it clear that he is not a actual doctor. So he calls himself a doctor even though he isn't. If we take another health expert such as Rhonda Patrick, she is a true scientist. She studied and worked in actual sciences and even made discoveries of her own that revolutionized her field. I agree that Ekberg make some very good videos, but he also sometimes says a bunch of stuff that is laughable to an actual scientist. In reality, anyone could read up on these health topics, call themselves a "holistic doctor" and then make a bunch of videos. It doesn't require a diploma or actual expertise. You could just write a script, based on the info you find online, and read from it.

    ACV is expensive in Asian countries. I'm glad it's not the ACV itself but the acetic acid that is beneficial. I can use coconut vinegar instead. It's free, organic, and can be sourced from the backyard.

    My wife has always been a good cook and fixed vegetables and meats, along with other whole food. But we did eat out some- burgers, pizza and other fast food. We also ate cereal, which, like so many others, thought it was healthy. But when we learned from Dr. Ekberg and others, the true dangers of processed food, fast food and sugar and carbs, we changed our diet to even healthier eating. That was about a year and a half ago. About 2 weeks ago my wife said: ‘You know, you haven’t had to take a tums in a long time. You also haven’t had any headaches like you use to!’ I use to take a tums several times a week after meals and I got terrible headaches. We will never go back to high carb eating again. We also drink ACV pretty often. Thank you so much, Dr. Ekberg.

    Hey Dr Ekberg- thanks for this informative video. Being diabetic, one way that I use ACV is to make garlic pickles instead of the usual vinegar that you find in commercial products. This not only does its stuff as far as the glucose regulation in the blood goes, it is also very very nice :)

      @@drekberg Thank you Dr Ekberg, I really appreciate your approval. Just to add a couple of points: the sharp taste of ACV which is off-putting for a lot of folks simply goes away once the garlic has been in ACV for a couple of months or so. I did a number of jars last spring when fresh garlic was plentiful and cheaper and the ACV is actually quite tasty now. You can also use the vinegar as salad dressing once the garlic has been consumed, you know instead of things like lemon juice.
      Also, given the number of pre-diabetics currently in the world, I think having a couple of ACV pickled garlic segments every night could help to prevent pre-diabetes turn into full diabetes. Personally, I think it should be sold in supermarkets but not on food shelves- it should be placed in the medical section along with Metformin, etc :)

    I've thought vinegar works because all fatty acids have an acetate molecule on the end of them. In order to break apart into two separate shorter-chain fatty acids they would require a free acetate molecule to do so. The reaction would release energy and also break down fat faster. I'd be interested to see if acetate salts work just as well as acetic acid (vinegar).
