Keto is Destroying Your Gut
มุมมอง 2.3Kวันที่ผ่านมา
The ketogenic diet is all the rage, but is it really ok to eat so much fat..? Well, depending on the rest of your gut function, microbiota, and nutritional intake, the answer might be no! Unfortunately, high-fat diets are well known to cause leaky gut, metabolic endotoxemia (think: leaky gut on steroids), mast cell degranulation, and a decrease in Bifidobacteria (good bacteria) and an increase ...

Can You CURE Autoimmunity? 🤔

Can you really CURE an autoimmune disease? Conditions like Hashimoto's, Grave's disease, RA, MS, Crohn's and Colitis? Or is the autoimmune game simply one of "management?" While the scientific community hasn't fully ironed this out yet, I hypothesize that it IS possible to cure autoimmunity. Whether an individual has the tools, knowledge, and dedication to do what it takes is up for grabs, thou...

My doctor automatically assumed that I had a high acid level because of epigastric pain. She did not examine me but prescribed PPI because she said the stomach acid enters the esophagus and causes pain. I suffer from constant bloating and stomach pain despite having given up smoking and minimizing coffee and spicy food. Now I understand that PPI suppresses stomach acid; I took the baking soda test and did not burp at all within 3 or 5 or even 10 minutes. If I would try the HCL test, what type or brand would I use? Can you recommend?

I actually laughed when you said "if you take a whole scoop of Lauricidin, you're gonna be hurting"... because I was one of those fools that didn't know this information years ago and I took the WHOLE little scoop like the bottle says - needless to say I thought I would die of a brain aneurysm that day. I almost landed in the ER with the worst headache and swelling and inflammation of my life! One of the worst experiences I have ever had! So yes.. you are correct on that one ma'am - ha ha. When you said that, I was like, "NO JOKE!!!! Hah!" Unfortunately, FC Cidal and Dysbiocide are terrible for me as well. I have severe MCAS though, so I react to nearly everything. If I ever try them again, I will start with a teeny tiny sprinkle. As always, LOVE you and your videos. Thank you!

The doctor said I did not need antibiotics I’m not sure if it was good or bad but I had a go test and it says that I have overgrowth of ecoli and staph. Ever since then my have never felt normal. I have gone to three doctors and no one knows what to do. I became sensitive to foods (milk and dairy)I was able to eat before and never get sick I was in good health but since then I’m sick all the time.

i feel the best when i eat when im hungry and whatever appeals to me the most. im so done and over with keto and low fodmap and everything that has rules that don't resonate with my body. i only eat natural foods and im done with highly processed foods too. It really depends on the day and time if i wanna skip a meal or wanna eat or eat 3 times like usual too. Personally when it rains my bloating gets worse and that's when i should refrain from eating, so i cut back on eating a little bit in moderation and see how it goes. I think it relates to my candida and sibo, but yeah, seasons matter too.

I have severe IBS-d, my functional GI said it was PI-IBS, due to previous infections, diverticular disease etc. I did the smart test and it was negative for both antibodies. My GI said it was not a trustworthy test, and neither was SIBO testing. She said once nerves are damaged in infections the gut never works well again. She want me to try TCA's which imho have a tone of side effects.
