- The first NERF Ultra that uses detachable magazines is now here, and while it was originally the 7, it seems the naming scheme is moving towards a more... regal, route. This Sniper hits pretty hard, and the true-style Bolt action brings a lot to love, but the most important question remains: do the darts fly straight? Can you hit anything? Is ultra still an ultra disappointment?

Fun fact: When Coop772 reviewed this blaster, he never used the golden ULTRA darts! He used the standard black ones! And they flew perfectly fine!
Coop also doesn't do actual range testing as far as I know, but I haven't seen his video.
He just shoot his door with the blasters
That's pretty much "lab conditions" for all intents and purposes. Walcom here is outside where air conditions are far more varied.
@@arsenalxa4421 I prefer it when it varies because their is almost no possibilities that it’ll be perfect conditions so you can see some more releastic stuff
@@WalcomS7 I'd like to see you shoot at an actual target too, it's hard to judge accuracy when it's just a distance test, though with this piece of work clearly many of the darts weren't going anywhere near straight.
When your blaster has a dispersion of 150 meters at 100 meters.
Ain't it the truth. These were some of the wildest Ultra darts I've fired yet.
Unnecessarily long prime, mag fed, long barrel, big darts.

I think the sight is actually pretty good because if it doesn't magnify at least it doesn't make you cover the target with a piece of plastic like regular sights, instead you align the bottom parts and look through the triangle.

I still have my Centurion, one of the first blasters I bought before I realized that bigger does not always equal better. It took me 2 years to get a spare magazine for it.

The first decent ultra blaster!
I mean we've had decent in the 3/4/5, and arguably the 2 was the most exciting. The Pharaoh is definitely the most practical, however.

This is a super neat looking shell that's held back by the inconsistent and generally sub-par ammo type. The new darts look like they're just the same kind of AirHogs foam in a different color.
I wonder if any company is going to try and develop a half-dart conversion kit for this.
Please Nerf, don't make the same mistake as the Centurion by not supplying extra magazines.
Also make them a different color, the yellow was pointless as the Pharaoh has no yellow on it
I finally got some extra Centurion magazines a couple of years after the blaster, but they weren't made by Nerf. I have 3 now and that's enough for a blaster that can't shoot more than 50 feet.
Just a couple ideas for ultra:
A hammer action, rear loading revolver
A bulpup ultra blaster
More mag fed blasters, (such as an ultra “stryfe” and an ultra “rapid strike”)
A pump action mag fed ultra blaster
An ultra shotgun
We got a ultra stryfe[amp] and rapidstrike[select]
Fun fact: On newer models the scope has backup iron sights on the top

Cool blaster, has more range than i actually need so i would get it as it's accurate up to the ranges i would need, plus it looks fun anyway.
That's not the first magazine-fed Ultra blaster: it's the first Ultra blaster with a _removable_ magazine. the Ultra Five and Three have internal, non-removable magazines.

technically the ultra 5 isnt an internal mag its more of a barrel since you can accually front load the magnus and 5 and for the 3 yes it would be an internal mag but also can be front loaded
I couldn't help but chuckle at "stonks" and "chonky".
I still think the best use of this blaster is to make it take short darts using the stock spring and priming mech. Still on the fence about getting it though
Glad all you reviewers are doing the ultra line, but I’ve written off the whole line myself. For that price I got a nexus, and I just purchased a spectrum.

That's a nice long, chunky draw! Centurion-like but shorter. Great review. I'd buy one. Did you recover all of the golden darts? I think they sometimes teleport away into Boris Johnson's hair when out of sight. I've got seven left...

Do you think you could make a double barreled shotgun from sledgefires? Possibly with a two stage trigger, and then you could just either bust a small horde, or get an ensured kill
Check Instagram in a bit, you'll see a double barrel... but I actually started on that project and never finished it.

I got one of these for Christmas, my parents hid it behind the couch so when I found it it was like that seen from A Christmas Story when Ralphie got the BB gun 😂

Walcom I absolutely agree with your opinion and it's better than any Ultra blaster ever currently. For me it's satisfy and I have this one on Christmas day merry Christmas
I removed the scope and the muzzle break. When u remove the muzzle break tho the barrel falls out. I put the barrel back and used electrical tape to secure it in place. No other mods on it and I think the gun is great at mid range and fun to use in general.

@@comradekoala1245 yep and I was surprised when walcom S7 hearted me because I never got hearted from walcom S7.
Personally the only issue that I've ever had with the Nerf ultra darts is the heads popping off and that's usually an easy fix plus when that happens the fix usually kind of upgrades it cuz all you do is put hot glue on the tip of it making the top of it a little bit heavier

Dang I really like the scope on the Pharaoh, the blaster in neat to not sure if I'm going to get one though.
I suggest painting it up in Hyperion colors from Borderlands.

I like the shell, if the scope could come off and that barrel could be shortened. Then throw some stryfe internals in there and a half way decent looking blaster!
The scope looks like one piece, so I'm sure it'll pop off easy.
It would be awesome to attach that golden scope to another blaster!
I am eagerly waiting for the Zombie Strike Contractor. Kinda expensive but it is an elusive pump-action cylinder a 'la the Guardian and Vagabond and I think it will be a fun minimisation with a unique looking result.

what I wish for is more magazines for this blaster; but more than anything, I want a smaller magazine (probably 4-5 dart capacity) because the magazine looks too bulky, and it gets in the way of my bipod.
Wests the overall most accurate and longest range nerf blaster?
I also wondered if someone else cloned these darts and perhaps put a little cant on the fins so the darts would pick up a spin as they left the barrel. That would give them a more accurate aim.

I am really surprised with those chrono reads. 100+ is modded elite. I just want it to shoot straight. I could mod it to use megas or bamboos. I have a few ideas tho.

This is a blaster that is designed for left handed people so I’m gonna pick this thing up! I can also tell by more paint being on the right side.
I really want ultra to do well I feel like they should keep the ultra series to springers all of the springer are decent or good I like ultra I’m just a plinker and I enjoy ultra I hope they keep going with it because they have their off brands like rival and vortex so just make ultra another specialty blaster that are springers and magazine springers and it’ll work

See if the dominator mag fits… I know that the dominator mag takes ultra darts maybe it’s cross compatible and fits in the magwell

The fact that extra ultra magazines aren’t really a thing, as well as expensive darts, really impacted my decision to purchase one of these, even for plinking it’s a chore to only have one mag. Like when I got my first Apollo back in 2016. But even then, I was able to purchase a magazine and 18 rounds for 10-15 dollars, and if that’s reasonable for a 13 year old back then, it’s crazy how for an actual adult getting spare magazines is nearly impossible, aside from rolling the dice on eBay, mercari, etc. And buying more blasters just for magazines is an awful idea.
The reason for the darts flying was because of the wind also the end muzzle can be removed by unscrewing the four screws on it

you should put sone ultra accustrike (formerly known as pinpoint) into this blaster, I have heard some good stuff about that.

I COMPLETELY agree that Hasbro should have led the Ultra line with this thing. But with two magazines. Magazine storage and only one mag is completely ridiculous. I don't see myself buying one, but this is a far, far better offering than the Ultra One.

I'm at an impasse, I like the aesthetics, but the ammo unreliability and the cost is a deterrent. Kind of like how I feel about the 3, except I value my fingers.
