NERF Fortnite is still chugging along, arguably probably the most profitable venture Hasbro has done with the NERF Brand... and the NERF Fortnite HR is definitely trying to do a few things differently. A new priming mech that isn't seen very often with the rotating bolt action, and some nice thick glossy and rigid plastic makes the Fortnite HR pretty appealing... if only the ergonomics were a bit better and matched the in-game model a bit more.

Nah I think they're pretty in line with my expectations from Hasbro. Elite 2.0 was held together by glue without a single original blaster and ultra actually exists afterall. Not to mention all of their competitors are swapping over to far better darts while they're still clinging to the same one from nearly 3 decades ago.
@@deadbunny2938 Lots of good points here, except I'll take any E2.0 over a Fortnite anything. Ultra can be good if you add good power supplies as even 9V alkaline is pretty anemic for the platform (At least the Speed worked well at 12V). But I agree, the hobby-grade consumer is flocking to DZ and the 3D market in droves, while Hasbro rather continue catering to the cash-ual nerfer market. Saw what I did there? ;)
Every Elite 2.0 is Lower than standart performance tho.
@@Alemlerin-Kirali not every, no. Motoblitz was fantastic and the other recent ones have been... Minimal, but fine for what they are. Plus there's that Wild subseries that has been pretty good.
I like how they included a 6 round mag, with the actual in-game rifle has 1 shot

but they decide to make the pump shotgun single round fire. that would have probably been a very popular nerf gun if they did it properly with an internal mag and longer prime
what gun is this supposed to be? i thought it was the bolt action but it has the bump where the bolt is

This is actually really cool looking as a hunting rifle, it’s like the buzz bee predator but with magazines (and no shells)

I have a buzz bee predator in my closet it does not come with shells. Unless your talking about something else.
@@asiandieno4905 Yeah the Predator doesn't use shells, you only need darts. I actually think it'd be pretty cool for Buzz Bee to release a single shot bolt action that loaded and ejected shells though.
Well sadly that took me a second. The first elite dart really didn't look that bad the rest all fell short, but the first one almost hit the door. Then came the AF darts and the realization that the target was the middle door. Not the one to the left. I definitely do agree that it looks nothing like what its supposed to, at best its like an odd nerf chibi version.
I kinda like the look of this one, but the bolt does seem a bit funky.
I would like to see the vid on the Pharaoh. I've got that kit, and the video might be the inspiration I need to get it installed.
The magazine in my one has the exact same problem. After loading the 5th dart you can push down on the darts and follower until a rather loud and worrying click comes from the mag, then you can load the final dart. Doing this hasn't broken the magazine, but it always sounds like it will.
There was also excess lube inside, the walls of the mag seem thinner than older Fortnite mags, and the follower spring is weaker (I compared it to the SMG-E mag). It shouldn't really surprise me that Hasbro would look for more ways to shave pennies off their production costs, but it still has me going like, "Wow, really?"

I'm old, so I really like the "wrap" of the blaster. Brown, red, orange, yellow...Reminds me of good old 70's colors. lol
Elite darts are good for one thing, shotguns so your spread is wider
"don't buy elite darts" as much as i want to have an pile of chilli darts in my Room its Sadly not accessible in Brazil, where i live, so eather i have to use elite or off brand darts that suck even more

I may get this based on your review, but I'm dubious because of the bolt lock. I want to practice a British military rifle drill called the "Mad Minute", and anything slowing that bolt throw is bad. This is the same drill that stressed my Ultra Pharaoh's bolt handle to the breaking point

For someone who has played Fortnite since Chapter 1, it took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out what this blaster was modeled after.
this rifle gives me homemade vibes for some reason without the barrel attachment
Allow me to mention another rotating bolt(?) action rifle in the hobby: Buzzbee Air Warriors Extreme Range Master. It's a bolt, but it's also a bladder propelled system with actually surprising performance. Would love to see it covered!

I don’t why they don’t make a fully automatic fortnite nerf gun, it would only make sense since all of the flywheel fortnite ones, except for the IR, are all fully automatic in game and irl as well.

Fully auto is for the more expert lined. As in anything that isn’t branded. They already paid enough for the fortnite logo so i don’t think they will waste more on a full auto

My favorite half lengths are the bamboo and "amber" darts
How's the build quality and the rumble feedback on that ridge racer cab? I've been thinking of getting one, but it looks a little flimsy, and historically I haven't loved arcade1up stuff--but Ridge racer is straight up my alley
I got it on deep discount, but it's about what to expect. Pedals suck, game isn't meant to be played standing up, but it's definitely fun and serviceable. The rumble is a nice touch but only works in a couple of the included games.
I'm personally hoping for Daytona or Rush next year.
@@WalcomS7 thanks for the honesty--that deep discount has caused some irrational double-takes. 🤣 Before that it was $700, and funny you mention Rush-I actually did end up going for a Rush 2049se cab instead last year. but ridge racer's new pricing is a lot nicer, and I'll just bet an arcade1up outrun board can swap into that cab too.
@@Reaperman4711 I didn't even think about that. I really like Outrun, and wanted the sit-down arcade but had just missed the clearance at Gamestop. I heard the Ridge Racer one is a lot sturdier than that, so I was eyeing that. Daytona just HAS to happen at some point, there's no way it won't. Police Trainer is another I'd insta-buy. Not to mention a Gauntlet Legends/Dark Legacy cab...

It would be almost worth doing a mod version if that stock was replaceable even with a standard n-strike attachment. Put a stronger spring with a spacer getting it up to maybe 100/120fps and I have a 3d printed sniper barrel from worker that would fit on that and look awesome, I even have a few stocks I could put on if it was replaceable. 😩

I have this, and ive realized it functions much better without the barrel attachment. I also got it on sale for 20 😅
Notice how if that bolt was real it would push any real bullet in to a wall. This is due to the fact that the bolt is a good inch above the barrel. Still a cool looking little toy, great video too!

I need this. Sure, it has room for improvement, such as more tactical attachment points. Like, you need to put a scope on this. I would definitely mod this. But I'm just out for the bolt-action movement.

As a side note: how come you always mention the Nexus, Aeon, and Conquest but not the Stryker, Dictator, etc? Is it because the Stryker and Nexus are so similar but the nexus is $10 cheaper?

I had one of these I broke it like a month later because the bolt snapped off from normal use so I don't think I would recommend this....

Two different blaster recommendations for kids that shot combo pack or The Avengers force pack these might be hard to find but they're pretty much available online they're cheaper and you're getting more darts and at least two maybe three blasters for less than the price or around the same price of this fortnite blaster 😁✌️
