HAHA I'm binge-watching your reactions to this series and I enjoy them so so much! I love how you did so many right guesses lol (Peeta getting 11, him mentioning Katniss being pregnant, Haymitch saying Peeta is now a weapon) but also how perceptive and smart you are on getting things/a lot of the plot points!! omw to the last movie now but just wanna say you got yourself a new subscriber :D
It's funny how earlier when Peeta first showed up on Caesar's show that you said they had a gun to his head. His shirt was actually intentionally made to look like a knife to his neck.
You should watch the pirates of the Caribbean series next. They are absolutely amazing (well the first three) and the score is one of the best ever, also Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is iconic.
The first two films are based on the first and second books of the same name. Mockingjay (the 3rd book) was split into two movies a bit like how Harry Potter was because of the length and amount of detail that needed to be included. The books are always better as they have a lot more detail of course, but these movies are top tier imo!
Oh Seb I adore you so much!! Your reaction with Peeta's first appearance was the same as mine. Like the guy was captured of course he didn't have any choice at that time! My poor Peeta has been through a lot! Still he came out so strong! Both in the movies and the books. Team Peeta for sure~
Loved your reaction. And how you have the same thoughts of Peeta and Gale that I did. Just cuz Gale was hot, a lot of girls sided with him, but he had a lot of red flags and was quite selfish. The movies didn’t play that up enough... and they didn’t play up enough that Peeta (over all) was actually quite strong and capable (hence him almost killing Katniss with that choke hold) and his off screen kill of Brutus when Brutus killed Haymitches friend Chaff in the games. And how much Peeta did to keep Katniss and himself alive cuz he was a master at talking, unlike Katniss. If Peeta had been rescued instead of Katniss, Peeta could have done those propo’s so well!
I like how you said it just gets better because it´s the same story and the next movies just add to it. I really love this story and I catch myself comparing which of the movies I like the most and it doesn´t matter really. It is really separated to the two parts, two and two movies. We have the games and the rebellion. I get that someone who enjoys mostly the action can be dissapointed with these two last movies. But if you like also the politics and the romance then you enjoy the last two films. I´m glad you are a fan of Peeta because he honestly is the best. I also like how it´s not that heavy on the rebellion and more about what Katniss is feeling and experiencing, thats because the books are just fro her perspective. As you´ve seen in the next movies already, she isn´t that big of a part of the revolution, she is just what sparked it and she got brought into it, but she didn´t want to be the symbol.
People screaming "traitor" to Peeta are literally those who have an agenda and can't think how the other person is feeling... I just LOVE Hunger Games because it shows EVERY NUANCE from EVERY SOCIETY. It's brilliant I'm excited for your reaction to the finale ***screaming***
Yes, I agree! I did think that it was pretty stupid of them to be so quick to call Peeta a traitor, but it served a purpose. I also chose to interpret it as a sign of their naivety. Even though the people from 13 lived in a military society, they'd never actually been in a war. I've heard people say before like Gale, that they would never break under torture, which is something people say when they haven't been tortured.
Listen to the first few minutes of the credits for Mockingjay Part 2, Jennifer Lawrence sings deep in the meadow in full and I feel it brings the story in full circle
I only just found your channel today, but I've watched several reactions of yours now. I just want to say: 1. Any man that is comfortable crying in front of people as you did for Endgame is incredible 2. You are so fucking smart. Ok, you're officially my favourite reactor now. As a long time fan of the books and movies, I love how you pay attention to all the details that most reactors, for some reason, miss. Also love Jennifer Lawrence's performance in this movie, the way her first propo's are so cringe and awkward and then turns it into fire 🔥 a few scenes later. *chef's kiss*
Spoilers for the ballad of snakes and songbirds: The fact that the hanging tree was written by the first district twelve victor and that president snow mentored said victor and was really close to her is mind boggling. It must’ve been a cold slap in the face when he heard the only other female victor from district twelve singing this song from someone he cared about
20:47 That IS a very sick shot. For their CGI exterior shots of the Tribute Training Building, they didn't have to make it look like the exterior of the hotel that was used for filming the interiors, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, but they did. I'm not 100% sure, but I think in some of the top down flyover shots, they even had a building that looks like the Marriott Marquis' next door neighbor, the Atlanta Hilton. Both hotels, along with three others, play host every year to a general geekery convention called DragonCon.With how notoriously overcrowded the hotel elevators get during DragonCon, there's been at least a few convention attendees who have been tempted to try District 13's method of just rappelling down the atrium instead.
6:30 I thought the same thing. Like how stupid could they believe for even a second that the capital isn’t being tortured and threatened. He obviously was being forced to say things
Odium 16 maybe but they’re also lying to him and probably threatening his family. He doesn’t know that they’re dead. I mean its the capital and they’re insane so district 13 should know that they can find a way to force him to say things.
@@Odium16 well thats true but I meant that district 13 should be able to figure out that the capital would find a way to force Peeta to say things. Like idk why they would believe, even for a second, that he said those things voluntarily.
Katniss: (Busy staying sane, being the face of revolution, wanting to save Peete and the others) Gale: "Why you no love me?" "You only kiss me when I'm in pain" 🥺
I love Effie!! Especially in the last 2. She was so out there in the first movie but the development arc her character undergoes is fantastic to watch.
Absolutely love the tone of this film, I've never watched something that delves this deep into how a revolution begins and the consequences. Favorite has to be Catching Fire
Some of the katniss/Gale scenes in this movie are actually katniss/Finnick scenes in the book. They gave a shit ton of finnicks lines to Gale to simply push the "romance" between the 2 of them. You can actually see in the book how Gale and Katniss are not compatible at all and how they're growing apart. They force them together in the movie and I hate that
A few years ago I had an accident that landed me in the hospital, nailed to a bed without being able to move for 2 months. Then, I had to start physical therapy to be able to walk again. The pain was so sharp that every day I wanted to just give up and spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair. Might be stupid, but one of the things that kept me going was that quote from Finnick. "It's better not to give into it. It takes ten times longer to pull yourself back together than it does to fall apart". Every morning, when the pain was taking over my mind, when I wanted to say "f*ck it, I am done", I would think about that quote. and I would think about the progress I had made up until then. How at first I was able to finally sit up on the bed. Then how I was able to finally sit on the side of the bed. How I was then able to finally bend my knees again. Day, after day, after day, it became my routine. I would repeat this over and over and over. One day, after 4 months of pain, agony and tears. I finally was standing up with both hands, finally letting go of the railing, both my feet planted on the ground. And I finally, finally took my first step. It's crazy how one line spoken by a make-believe character in a piece of fiction can give you the strength to make it through just one more day.
A lot of times the last books on a series are the longest so they have to cut the movies in two to try to fix everything: Twilight, Harry Potter and Hunger Games did the same in their time.
I never really understood why you would hate Gale at this point, his jealousy obviously is annoying, but was whipped by peacekeepers, survived a bomb attack, saving hundreds of people including Kattnisses family while having to watch thousends more die, some of them probably Friends and relatives, and his Home getting destroyed. He protects Prim and swallows his pride volunteering to save Peeta. He has a right to be angry! He definetely is not the one for Kattniss, but at this point he is a pretty heroic character and does not deserve the hate.
Btw every district is supposed to be responsible for production of certain resources for the Capitol, like 12 was coal mining, 13 was military, and the districts higher up in the hierarchy like 1 and 2 were responsible for weapons, etc, were richer and Capitol favourites
Watching my favourite film of all time once more along with you was so cool. I still can't believe how well written and shot this third movie is. You can really feel each emotions that Katniss encounters all throughout the film thanks to Jennifer Lawrence's performance.

I love that you are reactiing to this series. Watching your reaction is like reexperiencing the whole series all over again. Its such a gift because its such an incredible storyline
These movies were made when it was the trend to split the last one into two parts, so I believe that's the reason really. The problem with that is that they are based on one book. In storytelling you generally have several arcs before the big climax and the resolution completing the story. If you split it, you're basically dividing the slower "building" part and the action-packed climax into two different movies. However, I really like the Mockingjay movies despite this. They have a very different mood in them as you said, and I love it. Part 2 and Catching Fire are my favourites. You made lots of comments throughout this video that makes me even more excited to see your reaction to part 2. Hope it comes out soon!
I was hoping you would post this today! My day at work has been so boring and needed your reactions to make it better 😂😂 I was just going to find an older video lol
Of everything you could give Peeta to eat you want to give him just a baguette?^^ Peeta would be like: "i got Tortured for weeks and warned them and the only thing I got was a baguette"^^
The ultimate reason they split the movie was because Harry potter split it's last movie and it started a trend in young adult movie adaptations because of more box office for the price of an extended movie. But I think it was appropriate for this book when I look at them together The reason she keeps going on about Peeta in the beginning is both because she cares about him and doesn't like that they didn't get him out, but also because Peeta was good at people skills. He was charming and good get people to like him very easily. So when they're saying they need a voice for the rebellion, and she says then you should have saved Peeta, it's her basically saying "I'm shit at this. You should have gone with him"
Omg if you enjoyed this you may want to check out the divergent series next, I know you love cap but the lead guy in this "four" he's called is just wow
The outfit work in this franchise is SUPERB. When Peeta first appears on he is wearing a white attire that has a kind of peaky thing to his throat insinuating he is being threatened

Jennifer Lawrence and all those extras are so lucky they got to be in the same room as the acting legend who carried this franchise I’ve only watched these movies like once before so I completely forgot Julianne Moore was in this one. And this is really dumb but it took me until around the 10:35 mark to realize that the guy in the wheelchair is Jeffrey Wright aka The Watcher aka the new Commisioner Gordon in The Batman. It didn’t register until I heard his voice clearly 😅😅😅
The 3rd book was pretty divisive as well cause like you said the tone and direction took a huge turn, some loved it and some hated it; I think the movie was better received cause many have read the books and knew what’s coming. Catching fire is still my fav, but the entire franchise was quite well done.
The arrow scene with the fighters, I have seen people dissing the scene because of "How difficult it is to hit a moving target", I am assuming the Red arrows (Explosive) were fragmented, meaning the arrow does not NEED to hit its target, but be in CLOSE proximity, a sensor detects the target and detonates the warhead, showering its target with small fragments. If it shredded the control surfaces of the fighter, it would explain how it lost control, and subsequently hit his wing man, and they BOTH went down. It was said to be how the BUK missile "Hit" MH17, The rocket plots a course to be at a point just BEFORE the plane, detonates it warhead just ahead of the craft, showering the craft with shrapnel. The pilots would likely have seen a bright flash ahead, and that would have been it, instant death, and the craft breaks up from the damage.
to watch the movie in a cinema with quality sound ... it's amazing! during the scene of the bombing of district 13 you feel like the world is collapsing around you.

Now you know why Snow said "It's the things we love most that destroy us" since he wants Peeta to kill Katniss
“They’ve got him by the rolls” LMAOOO I lost it
Truly underrated 😂
Seb: Everyone says they don't like Gale, but he hasn't done anything I don't like him for.
Also Seb: Listen, Gale, I don't like you now!
""traitor, traitor!" ugh shut up" *middle fingers up*
"listen, gale, I don't like you now." *gale continues speaking* "shut up."
HAHA I'm binge-watching your reactions to this series and I enjoy them so so much! I love how you did so many right guesses lol (Peeta getting 11, him mentioning Katniss being pregnant, Haymitch saying Peeta is now a weapon) but also how perceptive and smart you are on getting things/a lot of the plot points!! omw to the last movie now but just wanna say you got yourself a new subscriber :D
buttercup actually FINALLY looks like he did in the books he was the wrong color in the other movies
“They’ve got him by the bread rolls!”
dude I’m cackling. 😂
It's funny how earlier when Peeta first showed up on Caesar's show that you said they had a gun to his head. His shirt was actually intentionally made to look like a knife to his neck.
The scene where they blow up the dam is the most chilling scene of the entire series for me. Gripping
You should watch the pirates of the Caribbean series next. They are absolutely amazing (well the first three) and the score is one of the best ever, also Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is iconic.
Jennifer Lawrence is such an amazing actress, it's insane
It makes me laugh seeing her acting as a bad actor in the staged propo
@@tia2d381 haha same, it takes a truly skilled actor to act poorly ^_^
It's brilliant
I'm excited for your reaction to the finale ***screaming***
I just want to say:
1. Any man that is comfortable crying in front of people as you did for Endgame is incredible
2. You are so fucking smart. You grasp hints in dialogue so many people don't catch, and since I read all these books (I watched your Harry Potter reactions as well), I get so excited whenever you catch on to something. Like you are so invested in the plots and you remember so many details
Excellent reactions man
Ok, you're officially my favourite reactor now.
No because you’re absolutely right. He caught the Finnick speech and the pearl scene - hands down admirable.
OMG YES!!!! SEB YOUR REACTIONS MAKE MY DAY SO MUCH BETTER! it's great to see someone that loves Chris Evans as much as me watching great stuff lmao
It's just a show of great taste, isn't it
Spoilers for the ballad of snakes and songbirds:
The fact that the hanging tree was written by the first district twelve victor and that president snow mentored said victor and was really close to her is mind boggling. It must’ve been a cold slap in the face when he heard the only other female victor from district twelve singing this song from someone he cared about
He never cared about Lucy, he was just possessive of her and saw her as an item that was his
Hanging Tree scene? Chills all round.
I'm so glad you mentioned all of the movies being one story and not being able to separate them in terms of ratings - that feels so true to me.
Katniss: (Busy staying sane, being the face of revolution, wanting to save Peete and the others)
Gale: "Why you no love me?" "You only kiss me when I'm in pain" 🥺
"I never ask to be in the games"
Girl, you're the one that said the famous meme "I volunteer as tribute"
They got the Baker by the bread rolls
Seb: I really hope they don’t kill Prim just to spur on Katniss I would hate that.
Me: 👀
I love the Peeta-Bread concept
* Snow blows up a hospital filled with children *
Seb: see I don't think the capital retaliated that much 💀💀
A lot of times the last books on a series are the longest so they have to cut the movies in two to try to fix everything: Twilight, Harry Potter and Hunger Games did the same in their time.
a good trilogy to watch next is Narnia! and a movie recommendation is 2012!! I think you would really enjoy both!
Peeta: clearly looks like he’s been starved, tortured, and beaten.
Gale: yeah well I never would’ve said that.
I hate Gale so much 🙄
14:09 - Oh the Naivete of youth.
“By the cajones. By the bread rolls.” 💀💀💀
10:01 *Haymitch walks in
Seb: _“Oo! Daddy’s here”_
Listening to Finnick talk about young Snow, you should watch the Hunger Games prequel! Adds so much detail to these worlds
Love the death stare you were giving gale at 15:04 😂
you should check out maze runner next because its the simular to hungergames and there's dylan obrien😏
I love your Hunger Games reactions so much !! Can't wait for the last one !
Every time he says “it’s not like there will be another games” I’m like 👀
The three finger gesture has actually been banned in Thailand for being subversive.
I got chills during the bombing of the dam. All those people willing to fight and die for even a tiny hope of a better tomorrow for someone else.
I watched this movie twice in the cinema and I love that part when Peeta almost k-word katniss. it's so intense
I set my ringtone to the monkingjay song from the first film
11:32 The guy who had his tongue cut out is Foggy Nelson, Daredevils best friend in the Netflix series, and considering you just seen daredevil in the MCU and seeing his friend in this, that plus the bows, too many similarities here
I think this was my favorite. Although all are really good, it’s hard to single one out. Enjoy the finale.
Part 2 and Caching Fire are also my favorites!
Bro I just realized, The Hunger Games had a very similar tone shift to Attack on Titan
I was hoping you would post this today! My day at work has been so boring and needed your reactions to make it better 😂😂 I was just going to find an older video lol
This is just the first part, second part will have the many many deaths
How am I supposed to wait for the last one? We need it ASAP!
I literally watch your vids all the time it’s like watching movies with you and your so funny!😂😂
gale isn't a bad guy just to anxious to get into fight he may do something he doesn't intend to...
bro the district 7 ppl climbed so fast
your reactions are my comfort place, thank you so much ❤️
Of everything you could give Peeta to eat you want to give him just a baguette?^^
Peeta would be like: "i got Tortured for weeks and warned them and the only thing I got was a baguette"^^
The ultimate reason they split the movie was because Harry potter split it's last movie and it started a trend in young adult movie adaptations because of more box office for the price of an extended movie. But I think it was appropriate for this book when I look at them together
The reason she keeps going on about Peeta in the beginning is both because she cares about him and doesn't like that they didn't get him out, but also because Peeta was good at people skills. He was charming and good get people to like him very easily. So when they're saying they need a voice for the rebellion, and she says then you should have saved Peeta, it's her basically saying "I'm shit at this. You should have gone with him"
Omg if you enjoyed this you may want to check out the divergent series next, I know you love cap but the lead guy in this "four" he's called is just wow
yess! Hunger Games and Four I believe I read within the same time frame and they're great series
I feel like I can relive watching what you’re reacting to like it’s my first time🔥🔥
The winners village is in the ownership of the capital so they wouldn’t bomb their own stuff
The outfit work in this franchise is SUPERB. When Peeta first appears on he is wearing a white attire that has a kind of peaky thing to his throat insinuating he is being threatened
18:30 he was talking about the 75th games in catching fire when he hit the force field
I love hunger games and I’m so glad you watched, or are watching, them! I have a few suggestions, maybe bbc Sherlock and hamilton, I’d love to see you react to both of those!
Testament to how amazing J Law is that she had just won the Oscar when this was filming, the bad acting is even better and very ironic
11:50 OH YES!!! Fun fact about this scene: MoistCritical aka Penguinz0 aka Charlie was in this scene! Jennifer Lawrence and all those extras are so lucky they got to be in the same room as the acting legend who carried this franchise
I’ve only watched these movies like once before so I completely forgot Julianne Moore was in this one.
And this is really dumb but it took me until around the 10:35 mark to realize that the guy in the wheelchair is Jeffrey Wright aka The Watcher aka the new Commisioner Gordon in The Batman. It didn’t register until I heard his voice clearly 😅😅😅
Your reaction is literally perfect
The 3rd book was pretty divisive as well cause like you said the tone and direction took a huge turn, some loved it and some hated it; I think the movie was better received cause many have read the books and knew what’s coming. Catching fire is still my fav, but the entire franchise was quite well done.
you won’t like gale soon 😂 😉
🤣
This us objectively the best movie in this series because it features the stellar performance of Charles White, really made the whole movie
"Someone get him... a baguette."
The pilots would likely have seen a bright flash ahead, and that would have been it, instant death, and the craft breaks up from the damage.
anyone else look for charlies arm at 12:00 ? Big moist critikal is the highlight of the movie
I lost track of the movie a good 5 mins when you made the finger joke 😏
to watch the movie in a cinema with quality sound ... it's amazing! during the scene of the bombing of district 13 you feel like the world is collapsing around you.
Everyone who hates gale because he's war hungry or he's willing to pay any price for the cause and most of the people will be like him in his situation
And get this man a baguette !😂😂
