Thank you! I just viewed your new video about the TS12 left hand conversion and I saw the slo-mo of the ejection pattern that confirms my view that the ejected shell did a 180 turn and then bounces off the ejection port and goes forward. This explains why my lip was getting smacked when I fired left hand. I can shoot the TS12 right handed but it feels strange so I will convert mine to a lefty. Your reason for not converting is very good and quite understandable since most of your students are right handed. Left handed or right handed, the TS12 is a joy to shoot and that's bad because it will eat up ammo fast.

Nice to see a left handed version now. Guess I'm adding this to my ever growing wishlist.

Curious why you didnt address she'll ejection issues when shooting the right hand version left handed? One of the commentors below "markbeam" stated he did have issues with the shells hitting his face. This would be a deal killer for me and have to find a portsider. ;)

Aloha nō my friend mahalo for checking out the video! I mentioned the shell ejection in other TS12 videos I created, but didn’t in this one because I was specifically zeroing in on IWI providing conversions for people as that was a hot topic at the time.
In other videos I mentioned that occasionally I did get hit with ejected hulls on the tip of my chin, but it wasn’t enough to bother me to the degree of wanting to not shoot it or try to get it converted to left side ejecting platform.
I did recognize that this was personal but for others who would only be shooting this at a flat range, it may be a deal breaker or something to be addressed.
Mahalo for checking out my channel and have a great week!

I just picked up a Tavor 7, and it’s crazy slick how, with only tip of a bullet, it goes from left or right in 5 minutes. I wonder if their were engineering hurtles they couldn’t overcome on TS12 with making it user swappable , or maybe they decided it wasn’t worth the r&d effort expense.

What kind of compensator do you have on your TS12? I just got mine about a month ago and I haven't delved very deep into the accessories market for it yet.

Aloha nō my friend! I have a Tactical Breacher Choke from Carlson’s.
I’m real excited for you having this firearm in your possession!✊🏾. I’ve been borderline obsessively searching the interwebz since I got mine a little over a year ago for new aftermarket products to try out.
Sad to say, there is very, very little out there at the moment.
Talon Grips makes a set of their grips for the TS12, which I had for a bit and took off, it just wasn’t for me.
Manticore arms makes a charging handle and a buttpad for the TS12, both of which I have and run on mine. The charging handle is nice with a good feel to it, but the stock one is totally adequate. The buttpad is REALLY nice and makes a big difference in comfort and to me, gives me a good reference when shouldering the TS12.
The only drawback to the buttpad is that the button to release it is recessed far enough down that you can’t use your finger or the charging handle to get to it like the stock one, you’ll have to use a punch.
It’s a trade off sacrificing the quick, tool-less field strip ability for comfort, but it does make a big difference and I opted to keep my MA pad.
The TS12 takes beretta/benelli chokes, so whatever muzzle devices you can scoop up in that range will integrate seamlessly.
I’m planning to cover all the changes I’ve made to mine in a deep-dive video, hope you have a great weekend and thanks for watching my video!

      Happy I could be helpful✊🏾
It is an awesome, awesome firearm, and I have absolutely ZERO regrets with mine, even going so far as to say after 2k rounds I like it even MORE, but the inability to flip the ejection is definitely a bummer.

Sometimes I lose people’s questions in the comments, if you have Instagram, it’s the best way to get a hold of me @paakaula_
If you’re still having trouble, I will have a video out by Monday explaining the difference between the stock pad and the manticore one; I’ll also do an install and talk pros vs cons

@@PeaK808 thanks man! I finally got it on but it was not easy.. I had to put some gun lube on it, slide it to where it usually gets stuck (about a half inch from locking), and then basically bash the pad until it finally slid flush with the stock. Hopefully I never have to take it off haha

@@lazarossiskopoulos2591whoa that’s hardcore! Sometimes when I’m putting mine back on (also with the stock pad, it will get stuck about a quarter of an inch short of lucking up flush. I have to take out the spring, set everything else up again, then it locks up the way it should
      Glad it worked out!🤙🏾

Have you seen the gun case that they make that holds the ts12 and the x95 check it out tell me what you think for $289 bucks I think it's a steal look up case Club thanks for the videos

Aloha nō my friend! I have actually had the opportunity to see one in person and mess around with it. I agree with you that if you have a platform (including accessories) that is compatible with the case, it’s a super steal.
I have NANUK and Pelican cases, which are great and I think they’re worth the money, just stay away from that precut foam that stuff is awful!
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by my channel!

Hey bro I called iwi as well and since I live in California, I would need a ffl to send a rifle in to iwi. They won't sell me a left hand bolt. Did they say if they will be able to sell you a left hand bolt?

    • @PeaK808
      @PeaK808  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aloha nō my friend,
To answer your question, no IWI didn’t say they’d be able to sell me a left handed bolt for my TS12. Initially the TS12 was intended to be a platform readily converted to alternate orientation by the end user at home but now conversions will need to be handled by IWI.
Like I said in the video, (I’m pretty sure I mentioned it lol it’s been a while and I’ve been working on a lot of videos😅) the conversions will be free of charge (except the FFL transfer fee, not sure how it works in CA but we have this in HI) if you purchased your TS12 before April 14 2021.
Hope you’re doing well, and have a great long weekend🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

@@PeaK808 ok got it. I'm trying to get a conversion done on the x95 and it's $140 for the conversion from iwi but then I have to pay my ffl for processing and shipping. It's a hassle for me here I'm California. Plus they pinned and welded a long loud muzzle brake on the x95 from factory. It's a pain lol. Thank you for replying

@@knockout35189 oh sorry man I thought you were talking about the TS12!
The X95 can be converted at home, I’ve seen left handed bolts on gunbroker and some other websites; as for getting them straight from IWI, I’m not sure as I haven’t contacted them in a few months, last I heard there weren’t any in stock.
I’ll try reaching out and I’ll let you know what I hear🤙🏾
