I got mine last week and I love this thing. I bought it at shooters world and took it in right away without knowing how to use it and this thing was flawless. The funny part was that when I turn around all the other shooters were behind me were like cheering ! It’s was like they all loved the action. That made me happy that I had bought one of these. You won’t go wrong wit the Tavor.

Had mine for 3 years. They have an ammo spec for about 150 rounds which is at least 1200 fps @ 1 1/8 oz minimum. Also if using the 2 3/4 " shells the L gas setting should be used. When shooting 3 " shells the gas should be set to H gas setting. The manual warns against using surplus foreign ammo also.
Lots of people that have problems are not following the manual instructions. When you read the manual expect better results. Keeping the gas chamber clean is really a key to this shotgun.

Cleaning and oiling is always key. It’s crazy these people always want to see a uncleaned gun at the range to see how it does. Why? Are they carrying a gun around for defense uncleaned? Geese. Thanks for watching and sharing and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

I too am a proud owner of a TS12. Love it and think its no gimmick.
Read some of the comments. Been so busy with life only had time to put a hundred rounds or so through it.
Never did any type of prep work on it and used cheap barely fps spec ammo on it.
Had a couple failure to fully eject moments with it. Nothing alarming.
And not at all to steal thunder from this ch but those with issues with their TS12 should check out Military Arms Channel's vid on his.
He had loads of issues till he broke it down and gave it a good lube. Then ran like a dream and ended up loving it.
Just thought this might help alleviate some of the complaints.
Happy you like yours G Square. She's a killer home defense shot gun and more imo

I just put my first 200 rounds through my TS12. I had 3 malfunctions right at the start, I flipped that gas switch to low, everything after the 1st 3 rounds ran without any problems. I have the aftermaket butt stock, charging handle and compensator on mine. The comp along with the butt stock made it easier to shoot and control. The comp might be what causes me to have to run that gas control on low. I think all 3 of those parts are worth having.😊

Which "comp" are you running? Are you talking about the Manicore arms muzzle brake barrel nut replacement? I have one of those and find it's great for using extended choke tubes. Some, like my TruGlo Turkey choke has a small thickness increase after the muzzle that doesn't fit inside the lip of the factory barrel nut.
The JMAC Customs Muzzle Brake though is the cats pajamas IMO. That baby comes as a true gas-redirecting muzzle brake design with improved cylinder choke.
No experience with the Carson's breaching muzzle brakes, but there are a few designs, and they usually come in various choke sizes too. Not sure how functional they are, but they look cool and should allow for stable/sticking to a door when breeching a lock.

@@1977TheHammer My bad on my parts description, it is the Manicore Muzzle Brake as you described. I picked up all 3 of the pieces that they offered. The brake and butt pad improves my abilities and endurance with the TS12 a lot. I now have 380 rounds through it, outside of the first 3 rounds it has eaten everything I have fed it. I have owned a Mossberg 930 semi auto shotgun, a very early version of the Beretta semi auto, and a Benelli M2 Clone shotgun, the TS12 is definitely the shotgun that I have performed the best with. I have shot Winchester 00, Federal 00 and 000, Kent Upland #6, and some 3" 00 that I found on sale at Big 5 Sporting Goods that I can't remember the name of the brand, it was the lowest performing ammo that I have shot, I am glad it was on sale. 😂
I am going to clean it, then put another 50 rounds through it, if it doesn't have any malfunctions I will feel great about it being my primary tool for the house.
      Happy New Year!!!

I bought one when they first came out, still have it and I love it. I have a light on it for home defense purposes, but to tell the truth, the way this thing cycles 00 buck (very controllable even rapid fire), and the capacity, I think it is probably best suited to quell a riot, lol.

Surprising to hear that reliability has been flawless for you. I'm holding out for version two of the TS12. I'm getting it for home defense and don't want to deal with the ejection problems that many have encountered. When I called IWI's American distributor, they said problems occur only with inexperienced shooters, but that doesn't seem to always be the case.

I'm seriously looking at getting this but I'm reading reviews where people are saying 2% failure to feed or eject. Is it really that bad if you use the minimum velocity spec shells?

    • @GSquaredTactical
      @GSquaredTactical  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I’ll try my very best not to watch other reviews or to do a ton of research on a particular firearm because of course I’ve carried the same four or five firearms for probably 10 or 12 years so I’m really not buying these firearms necessarily for my own personal use or for a purpose because I already have firearms that Meet that demand that I am comfortable with. I primarily buy these guns for review purposes because they have some interest on TH-cam and of course sometimes I buy them because I just think they’re cool and would like to own them however, I don’t feel as though I can give a unbiased personal review if I simply look at what other people say or other people experience And just regurgitate what they say or sometimes Will calls you to also fabricate problems. The only thing that I can speak to is my personal experience, which is nothing but pleasant. About 400 to maybe 500 rounds of ammunition put through this gun, I cannot recall having a single failure, and if I did, it certainly was not to that degree, but I’m going to say I did not have any. I feel as though I would remember. Thanks for watching and for commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already.

I had my mind dead set on a KSG because of the bullpup size and high capacity UNTIL I seen this. Now I'm wondering if the extra money for it is justified. Any thoughts? I heard you had to run ammo that is over 1200 FPS with this shotgun. Do you know if that's true?

One thing you need to remember with a tactical shotgun that doesn't really apply to shotguns for clays/skeet/trap or hunting and general plinking... is the tactical part.
If you're doing this under duress, human fight or flight response kicks in. Sight tunnels, blood rushes to the brain/torso, and muscles contract/tighten towards a fetal position. This is why boxers tighten up and turtle instinctively. It's why pistol shooter tighten up their arms, shoulders, and neck to turtle to the point they'll put tape over the top of their glasses to force themselves to keep their head up. It's also why pump actions can be trouble... short stroking.
Every military knows that giving new shooters semi and full auto firearms is more effective than break/lever/pump/slam-fire actions. The less manual dexterity / manipulation you need to get those rounds down range, the quicker and more accurate they'll be.
A short stroke with a pump isn't the end of the world in training, but it could be when under duress. Short strokes don't just give you an empty chamber, it goes unnoticed until you pull the trigger and get nothing out of it. In duress, any time you pull the trigger, its because you're in a dangerous situation. Not having that round means a lot of things, none of them good. The worst case is that you think you're out of shells and start to do a tactical reload costing you even more time.
In a tactical shotgun, semi-auto is preferable.

17 for a ghost loaded load out in 2.75".... but... the real secret is that 2.25" shells fire and cycle fine in the TS12 as well. Don't try those super short 2" or 1.75" shells (which are so light hitting they're garbage anyway)... but the Noble Sport 2.25" mini buckshot shells will load and cycle fine.
Noble Sport 2.25" mini buckshot shells allow you to load 6 per tube... meaning 20 shells total (3x6 +1 +1).
Also, quad-loading the TS12 is super easy compared to most shotguns.

That is true and up until now the only guns we have ever been given was from Taurus, Stoager, LT and Staccato gave us one. However if you will look at a couple optic reviews we done we actually shot one of them with a shotgun on camera it was so horrible. The owner of the company commented on the video and trying discrediting us and I reached out letting him know I would post communication between us on social media and he stopped. We would love to get guns free because it cost us a small fortune to buy these guns in some cases just for review and we barely make enough money from TH-cam to cover ammo each month. However I promise you it wouldn’t matter if it was given to us or not and I can tell you there have been companies I’ll leave unnamed that refused to send us stuff because we told them if it wasn’t up to par we would say as much. It’s so sad that you can’t trust what people say on TH-cam in a lot of cases because you don’t know if they are being paid to say it.
