I'm aware that even with all SC & TC turned off our cars have some brake pulsing during cornering. I've heard the lsd greatly reduces this but not entirely. Have you noticed this at all? I'm in the progress of building a big turbo track 135i and will most likely need to code this out! Thanks!
Yes the electronic differential is still active with the LSD, but it's pretty infrequent for the most part and seems to work harmoniously together on the track. It seems to only pulse the brakes when you really need it, such as when the rear end gets really loose in the rain at high speeds. The only time I find it intrusive is when you are intentionally trying to drift the car abruptly with power oversteer. Good luck with build, cheers!
I have 135i and I'm about to get new tires and all m3 control arms. Do the control arms make a noticeable difference in your opinion? Have you done anything else to the car since then? So far love the 135i and hopefully soon I take it to thunderhill.
Hey, yes the m3 arms do make a noticeable difference. But I’d highly recommend installing the m3 rear subframe bushings before the arms or anything else. Next would be camber plates (at least Dinan’s). Yes, check out my video of the 135i vs the 1M at Laguna - my more recent mods listed there. Good choice of car 👍 it doesn’t need a whole lot to be very good! Make sure to get some decent brake pads when going to the track.
@@Milkywave thank you for all the information. I'm between the m3 bushings or the solid ones since the new m3 and m2 have no diff bushings. I'll check out your other video. Keep it up nice driving out there!
YES!!! Way to represent!
+BMWhips ✋✋🙃
wow. throttle and rpm are cool to follow as I have a 135i I've never tracked. cool video!
+JesseSparta1 Thanks!
looks like you and the ferrari had the track all to yourselves! good stuff.
+holygranoli yeah it seemed like it. thanks
amazing driving skills!
Thanks Ron!
Imagine with bolt ons and a tune you'd be passing him 😁
🤓

Do u get limp mode for oil starvation?
Nope, not at all

Sure. Either will be a huge improvement over the stock ones, which are ridiculously soft. Thanks!
Did the m3 control arms increase your track width?
I think only 1/4”
Great driving? What suspension and tires were u running?
Stock suspension and Hankook R-S3 tires.
What diff ratio did you go with?
Same as stock, 3.08
What was the process like getting the LSD? Cost, time?
+tytlyf Had a shop do everything. They just needed a week to prepare for the install. Installation took half a day and total cost was about 3k.
I got one of those😁
Wonderful machine 👍
