I forgot to clarify one important aspect about the battery life. It takes around 45 min to fully charge and easily lasts for a month of regular use, 7 to 8 hours a day.
OMG, don't feel bad! I just learned it from _you,_ this minute! 😮 (And yes, thank you also to @TheHopelessGeek because I heard him mention it in the video but didn't understand and already forgot.) When I read your comment I went up to the tabs bar in Firefox, pressed Shift, and scrolled on my cheap little Logitech M325 mouse, and saw the tabs bar move sideways! 😃 I've been using computers since the mid 80s and didn't know that!!
I loved using this during internship period. It was like going on a glorified motorboat than the pedal boat. Do you know any alternative to this? Do we even have copy cat for this?

I haven't noticed any slowdowns, thankfully. But it doesn't always run in the background. You *have to* keep it on to make sure your shortcuts and macros are working. So annoying 🤦🏼♂️
Wait, the Logi Options+ software has to be running all the time to use this mouse??? 😲You're right, you are the first person I've heard say that. I _can't_ run it because I'm on a Linux system, which the software isn't compatible with. Before I heard that, I was therefore going to ask whether the buttons work out of the box, and if they work, what do certain buttons do by default? For example, does the button behind the top scroll wheel change the scroll sensitivity by default, or does it have to be programmed to do that? And does the side wheel offer horizontal scrolling function by default, or does it have to be programmed? But now I'm even more concerned than I was. Confused, too, because on the Logitech website it says "basic functions" (whatever that means) work without software on operating systems other than Windows & Mac. 😔
The mouse works without the software, but you can't program anything without the software. Not even the DPI. By default, the top button changes the scroll wheel mode between line by line scroll or smooth scroll.
@@TheHopelessGeekmy guy how about the gesture? does it function as default or not functioning at all without the software? I'd like to use it with my conpany laptop but sadly it's not complete without the software
The gesture button works as default without the software. You can use it to show/hide desktop, switch workspaces, etc. But it isn't very intuitive. I would rather use the keyboard shortcuts 😅
Here's my question. This mouse can be linked to three different computers. So I link it to my main computer. Then lets say I need to reset my computer back to factory status. Now I need to pair up this mouse again. Does this mean I will need to use a different connection point or can I still use the first point where it was originally set up? I hope that's the case because otherwise what's going to happen if I reset my computer more than three times? Will that make the mouse un-pairable because I have already used the three link points?
Thanks for the review, very useful. I bought the 3s for Mac because I needed a three button mouse for use with DaVinci Resolve and the magic mouse didn't really cut it. I have to say this is a great mouse, very ergonomic and I use it now for just about everything in preference to the magic mouse. Apart from one thing - vertical scrolling in text. If I'm running down a list on web or a document, then the magic mouse is really smooth, enabling me to read as I go along. The 3s is jerky (yes, I have set it to smooth scrolling) making it impossible to comfortably read as I go. Is there any reason why Apple can make their mouse scroll genuinely smoothly and Logitech can't? Or have I missed something? Reply
Thanks for responding. No, that's not the problem. The window remains still, but as I scroll with the 3s (with smooth scroll selected in settings), the page text moves up in little jerks, instead of infinitely smoothly as with the magic mouse. Is it something to do with refresh rate?
I upgraded from a MX 3 to the MX 3S, the app toggler button worked perfectly in the MX 3 and for some reason it will not work on the MX 3S at all. Should've kept the old MX 3, worked way better.
Great review thanks! When I tried the MX anywhere 3s I was amazed how good it felt, but it is too small (not good for wrist) so I will probably give this Master 3s a go, just wish it was lighter.

I'm not sure my work will let me install the software... but as I get older, i value "delightful" user experiences. I use my mouse mainly in Excel 40 hours a week. On one hand, a $99 mouse seems silly. And on the other hand, i use it all day, so I should get a good one. I'm tired of my old wired mouse, i feel like I'm always tugging on the cord. Can't decide between the MX 3s or the m720. Hmmm... thanks for the great video!

In my opinion, devices should be more autonomous and should not rely on an underlying software to do their tasks. It'll help them integrate seamlessly across various platforms, like MacOS, Linux, Android, etc.
That's what I'm trying to understand, @@TheHopelessGeek and @dibyanshmohanta752. I have a Linux-based computer and therefore can't use the Logitech software. I've discovered and installed a Linux applet called Solaar that evidently does _some_ of those things. But none of the settings on my current mouse, a cheap Logitech M325 that I bought a few years ago in an emergency, are adjustable in Solaar. So I can't test the software yet, but I _can_ see that it can apparently adjust various things like scroll resolution and direction, show battery level, and even do gestures and key assignments, with a compatible (meaning probably more advanced) mouse. As for Logi Options+ I don't need all the key assignments stuff, and (because of Solaar) may not need any of the other features, either. *I just want all the buttons and wheels to do something useful out of the box.* But if the Logitech software has to be installed and running for the mouse to work, I'm screwed! 😑

Hey bro, the original winner said they dont need the prize. So you are the second pick! Just reply with your contact (email or discord ID) and I'll message you 😊
@@TheHopelessGeek bro I've replied to your comment way many times, but it automatically goes away when i check it again after some time. I've messaged you on inatagram and discord as well.
I would not recomend this product. it is good that your instance turned on. My one even did not react: no turning on, no charging. I see on internet it is common problem(( too bad, good ergo
some people experienced such problem suddanly after some time of usage.
Oh, I didn't expect that from a mouse of this price😕
@@TheHopelessGeek yeah, me too(
Did you get a solution? A replacement, perhaps?
@@TheHopelessGeek I just bought it yesterday. I'll speak with shop-assistant at first to avoid facepalme situation that I didn't managed to turn it on. But I looks like very strainght.
Ah, you bought it at a store. It should be easy to get a replacement then
next time try Razer Basilisk product .
Hm.. I think Razer products are even more overpriced than these 😅
@@TheHopelessGeek try ofline market same price 9.5k but you dont get side scroll wheel
Hm.. okay, I'll try.
This is amazing vifro thanks for great review❤️
👍🏼thanks
my scroll wheel is horrible
Why is that? Maybe it is locked with the scroll mode? Try pressing the button on top of the mouse. It switches the smoothness of the magnetic wheel between infinite scroll and tactile scroll.
i think at the top right there should be skip creating account
Hm..true. But it still won't solve the issue that you need this software on every single machine you use this mouse on 🙄
true stupid... any other recommendations for mouse?@@TheHopelessGeek
hello can i win that giveaway mouse? my current mouse is a 300 rs mouse and scroll wheel is now really bad. It creates so much issues in premiere pro and AE while zooming in and out the timeline
The scroll wheel on that giveaway mouse is decent 🙂👍🏼
@@TheHopelessGeek how much the polling rate? older one
Not completely sure, but it could be 1000Hz. Is there a way you test it?
@@TheHopelessGeek yes just type in mouse polling rate test in any browser. then move your mouse in circles. it will tell
I did that on a website called CPS Check. It says maximum detected is 135 Hz. I was moving the mouse left to right pretty fast.
I use 502 for extreme productivity
Ah, that one with additional buttons?
in 9:23 when you mentioned about Apple Fans, I am indeed an apple fan & ironically I don't like Magic Mouse 🤭
😂haha, you're a sensible one then.
Great review
Thanks 🙏🏼🙂
Yes, it is. I meant to say the same thing but was too wrapped up in my disappointment about what I learned.
What about the key board giveaway T~T
I'll do that one too. 😂
Like always nice video. Suuuuuiiiii.
as i already have a mouse i hope someone who deserves wins it. Goodluck Kiddows

Expensive products are not made for middle class family though I hope I will win 😁
😊I will try to give away as many goodies that I can get. I, too, once used to dream of getting nice things. With your support, I can afford them now and wish to give back ✌🏼
@@TheHopelessGeek 😊
yepieee, lets see whos gonna win!
😀good luck!
Feels like this mouse has one extra chromosome.
😂hehe. For real, it has some weird features like that soft-touch button
Good review 👍 👏 👌
Thanks 👍🏽
I wonder how this mouse will perform in gaming😂😂.
Probably not very well, given it doesn't have a high polling rate 😂, but that scroll wheel can do wonders!
Just get the software. For most of us it's not a problem. Problem solved.
In my opinion, devices should be more autonomous and should not rely on an underlying software to do their tasks. It'll help them integrate seamlessly across various platforms, like MacOS, Linux, Android, etc.
It is a problem bro…. Have to cancel the order shittt
30 min charge for 5 days. Deal breaker.
I wildly underestimated. It lasts for a month 😅
Let's see who's lucky here🎉
🙂 you'll find out soon, today!
I am very much interested in the giveaway 😅
😂👍🏼cool!
So basically It's an excellent mouse that is useless without its app 🤭
Yeah, well, not useless. But greatly impaired 😅
I am interested in the mouse give away😅
🙂👍🏼sure
I would love to get this.
🙂👍🏼sure
Omg too much expensive cannot afford this😂
It indeed is! I debated getting this for a long time and finally bit the bullet😅
expensive shit skips on basic things razer software is shit but the v3 basilisk mouse was godd but had to retrurn it
Logi's software is good, but doesn't make it convenient to use quickly across multiple devices
The ux of the app is cool
Yeah, it's very well made. I just wish it would save the settings on the mouse itself 😅
waooo cca cra pro grade high quality bruh wot maybe it is better than those free bies
Yes, that was the point. It's miles ahead of the stock ones for the same price.
I thought you are million or more followers
Nah. It's not that easy for a generic ol' bloke like me 😅
I have red dragon m808
Is it good? 🙂
Me me me.. i want to win the give away 🎉❤
