Corgi restoration of Bedford Carrimore car transporter No. 1101. Die-cast model toy.

The Major Pack model, a Bedford truck with a car transporter, was manufactured by Meetoy from 1958 to 1963. The car was produced in an unusual 1:47 scale and its dimensions exceeded other models. You can turn on subtitles in your language with the action commentary in the video. In 1964 the trailer was attached to the new Bedford truck, which was produced until 1969. My model had no tires that were lost. I made new tires of black-dyed molding polyurethane. I also made a new rear axle which was missing. The trailer had a capacity of 4 Corgi models. The manufacturer also sold this Bedford model in the package with four passenger cars. The box in which the model was packed was two-piece. Copying this pattern was not easy due to the dimensions of the vehicle itself. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

I sure remember my cousin's Corgi Carrimore! Of course, here in North America, we wanted a HUGE auto transport that carried one car over the cab, three more on the upper deck, and another three below! We used to see lots of those on the highway, but at some point they disappeared.

There were a load of bits in that trailer - I remember having on once, but never got round to restoring it: in fact I have no idea at all what happened to it! Terrific job, though - looks better than the new one I remember! I marvel at how closely you are able to spray the parts - it must be the finest of spray nozzles! And full marks on all the peening.
