I used this recipe and it turned out incredible, the rolls came out super fluffy, airy and really delicious. Totally recommend this recipe to anyone who wants to make dinner rolls from scratch. P.S. make sure to let the dough rise a little longer than recommended (longer than an hour) it's worth the wait , they turn out even fluffier than in the video.

I must offer you a personal thank you. These tasted just like the rolls that my grandmother used to make 50 years ago. I made some for my family, and my mother raved about them. It's obvious that she remembered, too. Once again, a heartfelt thanks.
I made them for Thanksgiving and they turned our sense. They were about the consistency of soft pretzels. They were edible but definitely weren’t the soft dinner rolls I was hoping for. I did t cut any of the wait times short. Any idea where I might have gone wrong?
@@jvb0804 if you followed everything exact the only thing wrong is the rise and the proofing. Different houses have different temperature and humidity. Try a different time until it works out.
I did the no knead method by using my stand mixer ! I also used instant yeast instead of active yeast . I used two cups of Unbleached all purpose flour and two cups of bread flour added 1 1/2 tsp salt mixed real good then added 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast along with 1/4 c of sugar I put all into my stand mixer bowl .Then in a measuring cup added the 1 cup of milk 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup melted butter I microwaved it till warm (instant yeast can tolerate warmer liquids which I like .. less worry if it’s too warm) I poured in the milk mixture into the flour mixture then I beat one egg up in the measuring cup and poured into the milk mixture . I turned on the mixer that had the dough hook attachment on and let it mix up adding a little extra flour as needed till all the dough came away from the mixer bowl and formed a ball. I let it knead for about 5 min. I removed the dough and added about 2 tablespoons of oil to the bowl added back the dough flipping it till all of the dough had some oil on it then covered the bowl with plastic wrap and a towel on top . I placed into a slightly warmed oven and let rise for one hour. After one hour was up it had risen beautifully I punched it down real good and with dough in my hands I folded it over itself and formed it into a ball making sure all the air was out of it . I put it back into bowl and took a 9x13 baking dish and greased up real good with melted butter . I then pinched off dough and formed into rolls pulling dough into itself and placed into the baking dish . I brushed melted butter on top of the rolls covered with plastic and returned to the slightly warm oven for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes I took them out and removed the plastic wrap . Preheated oven to 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Then I put the rolls in the oven and baked about 15-25 minutes. They were the best rolls that I have ever made ! They were big and fluffy and soft and so yummy! Thanks so much for the recipe !Blessings!

Just one small tip. Do not incorporate the salt before you add the yeast. When the yeast gets in contact with salt it looses its properties. You should make a well in the center, dump the yeast mixture in and then sprinkle the salt around the edges. When mixing work your way from the inside out so the yeast gets in contact with salt as late as possible.

I've followed this recipe few times. It's nice and soft plus melted in the mouth. Best recipe.
Thank you for explaining needing the dough better than most people I've looked up on here it showed me a lot of things that I was doing wrong.
These truly are the best like they are AMAZING! Bit the dough was a little weird to work with and I had to add a lot of extra flour but still crazy good
I like to watch because these people are awesome and what they make is so well thought out and follower-friendly
Thanks for the recipe. It's absolutely delicious and so soft. Everyone at Thanksgiving dinner loved them.
hello enzankaylin, how are you doing today?
Ok I just made these rolls. My pastor and his wife and another couple came over and they FLIP OUT the bread rolls! I was so proud of my self that I ruined their diet for the week! Thanks for this recipe!
Made these today with my 7 year old daughter. Beautiful memories and she's so proud. Thank you for walking us through it step by step. We laughed when you said "these are delicate little babies, don't come in hot with the brush." Ha! They really do feel like our little babies at this point. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello marysol how are you doing?
4:54 Why did my belly hurt at that moment-
Idk you tell us
Wow. I'm so grateful for that info on yeast. I had no idea. Maybe I'll be able to make some decent breads now.
POW 💥
ME: Falling out of chair
Who knew cooking could be so violent
Sir please what you saw was a complete accident.
Lmao
It was staged...the dough was paid!

I made these dinner rolls yesterday, they are so easy to make and the taste is awesome. My new yeast dough recipe, the easiest by far. Thank you
Made this 3 times in the last year and it turns out perfect everytime. Easy, beautiful and DELICIOUS 😋.
I made these soft rolls and they turned out so soft and pillow like. They have a hint of sweetness and the perfect chew! Lastly they were a great addition to my coq au vin. #Yummy
I thought the title said Best Homemade Dinner Rolls you’ll never eat, I wasn’t mad at myself because it was pretty accurate.
Oh my god, I loooove dinner rolls. I eat them with mashed potatoes and gravy lol. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, especially considering that this year my birthday falls on the day before.
Happy b day 🎉🎈🎆🎁

GrayishEyes my bday was also on the 21st!
Great recipe and demonstration, my mother baked every week (in the 60s) in an enormously large pan but threw everything in with her hand, no measuring with cups or spoons, this is as close to the deliciously, airy result we’d have each week. I recall it being an all day process, will definitely try this. Thank you for this video!
Wow! I and my grandchildren made these rolls and come out fantastic very soft and fluffy this recipe is just terrific I recommend trying this one, now thank you for this recipe.
wow that's awesome Aida,.
