I made the bread today. I followed your video to the "T"-so I thought. I misread the temperature. I baked it at 200F for 35 minutes. Still raw and not browned. I turned up the temperature to 350 for another 15 minutes. It turned brown and baked perfectly. It is so fluffy and soft inside. Thank you for the easy to follow step by step directions. I am a firm believer of "mise en place". A lot of time is saved in the actual preparation of the dish. One need not necessarily have all ingredients measured out, so one may just have the salt or sugar out, and then apply the "pinch" of this, and a "dash" of that, to the heart's content. Or maybe just a touch more.

I love making my own bread as well and my recipe is basically the same as yours. You could also divide that dough into eight pieces to make nice bread rolls. I love the olive oil in the dough as the Portuguese also love to include that in their breads and gives it a great taste. I sometimes use one part of the recipe to make a cinnamon roll with some dried mixed fruit. I am from South Africa. Thanks for the recipe.

very similar to the bread recipe my mom uses. Only she mixes the yeast and sugar into a cup of warm water for a few minutes to activate it first and uses melted butter instead of olive oil. Also, this makes great fried brad by taking the dough and making small flats out of them about 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) and frying them in a cast-iron pan of hot oil.

❤Best bread ever, I added my usual yogurt glaze before baking ❤ Happy Holidays Everyone 🎉
Loved watching you make this bread, will try it on the weekend. I hope all those people who bake and cook with long painted fingernails and jewellery have gotten a very good eye opening experience of what a true baker or cook's hands and nails should look like, as well a clean work area. Thank you, Dankie 💖tot later.
i NOTICED THE CLEAN HANDS TOO WITHOUT JEWELRY!
