    "Why does he need to be the leader in that area?" Because it contributes to attraction and prevents resentment.

    How about don’t get involved with a man that doesn’t initiate dates, slow making decisions, can’t answer a straight question…
    This is very draining to have to poke him with a fork to plan, answer questions, set up dates…this is a wounded masculine form…some sort of trauma preventing him from standing fully on his masculine square
    As a woman I don’t feel he can protect or make me feel secure

      That part!!! Just don't get involved at all.
      This is soooo f**** exhausting. I rather dump or divorce him than to have him "teach" a grown man to be comfortable in HIS OWN MASCULINE

    This feels like rewarding his passively

    • @JoshuaJamesBishop

      If you mean rewarding his passivity, I would say that the only example they gave that could be misconstrued in this way is the example of complimenting/praising your spouse to support them in their dealings with depression. This is NOT rewarding bad behavior, it is inspiring better behavior. It would be extremely callous to argue against giving words of affirmation to someone that is struggling with depression…
      But in the early discussions in the video they were pretty harsh, like out right stopping taking out the trash to bring a husband’s complacency out into the open. This is the opposite of rewarding and is quite tense and confrontational - though I agree with the speakers that it can be a very organic way of addressing a very sensitive subject to broach.

    Appreciate this. It also feels a bit like the wife is having to parent the child. Why are parents/mothers/fathers not teaching these things to their hound boys? Why are men growing up not understanding how to make decisions, contribute to and lead a home?

    I love this!!! Thank you for sharing. I felt so discouraged because my husband is very passive although he is good to me and my daughter. I felt hopeless and was contemplating divorce. Please keep doing these videos. God bless you!

      Don't give up on him. You continue to pray for him, THERE IS NOTHING TO HARD FOR GOD! Ask the Lord to guide you to a counselor for yourself. You need someone to talk to while going through this. Ask the Lord to also surround your husband with married men who are sincerely sold out for God to encourage him. There are lots of good books out there as well that can give you advice too about being alone in marriage. God is more than able to help him and you!

    How to avoid or deal with silent treatment when one person is introvert and another extrovert? One wanting to talk through things and other withdrawing during the heated/tense discussion? Or another extreme is being unable to keep emotions in check and hurting with words? What can i do to find the balance?

    But first you all have to be open about the finances. He has his money I have mine. Definitely NOT what I want or what God wants but I can’t make him do anything he doesn’t want to do. I just pray. 🤷🏽‍♀️😢

      You are a whole fool and man in the relationship…why should he do anything and he’s definitely not going to respect that you have no value in yourself so he doesn’t see you as valuable….if you accepted him like this it’s you with a mental problem along with a broken man

      Don’t try to change a man. Accept how he is or move on. Men don’t change.

    • @JoshuaJamesBishop
      @JoshuaJamesBishop 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That men don’t change or that woman don’t change is deeply counter-scriptural. In being saved and being reborn in Christ, we are not only changed but made new entirely before God and are so unfathomably changed by this process that the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us.
      I’ve gone through agnostic phases myself so if you aren’t religious or if you don’t believe in the concept of being born again in Christ and the Holy Spirit moving into and dwelling in us then fine - but if you ARE a Christian, to make the claim that men CAN’T change is blatantly heretical.

    I like the advice but how come these type of discussions are always geared towards black relationships ,it seems like other races don't have to be on TH-cam discussing each other's roles.

    Things will never be on a consistent level with a black woman, she's always looking and lurking to start and create drama even when she knows her man is doing the best he can.

    • @traetrae11
      @traetrae11 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If “the best he can” is subpar to what any competent human can do then why stay with him? Just move on.
