Valentine's day date which we only get one date a month was horrible. Most of the day was him being negative and talking bad about our daughter instead of praying for her... next time I'm just going to get out of the vehicle and get a ride home. Not putting up with it anymore

This...right here...is what im going through in my marriage. Im not to the point of wanting to be with somene else, but i dont know what she is thinking because she just wont talk to me anymore unless it is to start a fight or talk about how disappointed she is in things at the house.
Joseph Smith hey we were there. A few tips: forgive her, if your heart is hurting get healed. Realize that she can’t be your source of happiness and fulfillment. A healthy you looks like a man who can pour into her when she’s not at her best for you. If you’re offended you only see what’s she’s not giving you, but when you’re stronger than the attack against your marriage, you meet her where she is and work with what you’ve got. Love on her, regardless of what she puts out. You must love her to health. Romance, listening, giving her security and being a friend in what seems like a moment when she’s not at her best, that’s how you help her recover
You should look at Marriage Helper and what they say about marriage counselors. While I agree people should get help for their marriage, generally speaking marriage counselors are not a good option. They have a very low success rate. They are not trained to preserve marriages. They are trained to treat individuals.

+Teena James sorry to hear what you’re going throug. I would encourage you to take proactive action to change what’s taking place. Marriage was never a life sentence to be miserable. It may have moments of difficulty but it should’nt be a joyless prison of pain. Go get counseling ASAP. Don’t put up with it any longer. Tell him and yourself that won’t settle for a lack of intimacy. Let’s go get help. Professional help right now, this week. Pray and do, pray for Gods help and do something in His strength

Mrs. G go somewhere and scream. Scream loudly then sit down and discuss with the Holy Spirit about it. Just have a conversation with the Lord about it.

Definitely discomfort
I've been to LOTS of marriage counselors and they ALWAYS made things worse. Even those that were religious and believed in the sanctity of marriage.
