- In this episode of Urban Exploring, I will be taking you for a tour through this absolutely insane abandoned cabin lost in the middle of the woods. This beautiful large property is located in a remote area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city; it contains a log cabin, a guest house, a garage, and an amazing outdoor pool. It would appear that the house was abandoned rather suddenly, as everything from their outdoor toys, to all their personal belongings have been left behind. Join me for a tour of this absolutely amazing location that has been forgotten about for years!

I'm not sure about someone living there after the man left, I belive he just got lazy toward the end. The junk in the yard indicates to me the dump was far far away.
An auto mechanic's car never runs well, a plumber's pipes always leak. By the looks of the roof I belive the man was a roofer by trade, hence all the compressors and the nailgun roofing nails on coils.
This was a beautiful "estate" in its best days. Wished it was mine to take better care of.
Thanks for the tour Greg!
👍🤠
Notes:
17:11 Heating oil or kerosene heater.
20:15 Pool pump and filter.
26:41 No match found on google lens, many tables displayed there, maybe it's just a table's top.
28:59 It's the backside of the fireplace. 🤭
29:35 I have no idea, it's kinda timeless in design but I'd wager a small amount it's from the 60's.
45:10 Bedroom mood lighting, blue, white, or both, take your pick.
46:32 Homeless booze would be the cheapest vodka available.
Thank you for the amazing comment is always John. I think you're right I think at the end he got lazy and that's why you see everything the way it is. I definitely think this was one amazing spot in a hay day. No doubt about that. Thank you for the observations as always. I did not know that's a heater but that is really really cool. And homeless booze for the win!! Thanks for being amazing John
It is just so nasty and full of junk
I don't like pools
I just want to see in the house
I have to stop watching you waited to long to show the house

So sad they abandoned that place it would have been an awesome getaway
Hey jerrold! Nice to hear from you, I totally agree it was an amazing spot to call home or to getaway. It had everything
Hi Greg, I’m watching now!❤
Hey tot, thank you for checking it out I hope you enjoyed it
Awesome explore as always! The property itself looks huge. Wonder how many acres is there? It would be nice to live out there away from everybody.
Thanks Jamie! That's a real good question. It seemed to be at least a few didn't it?? I would love it. I'm glad you enjoyed it man!
You seem very knowledgeable about the homes you explore. I really enjoy watching your explorations. I am trying to catch up as I am a new subscriber. You don’t have to apologize for things you aren’t sure about. Your humbleness makes you very endearing. I am so glad I have found you and look forward to seeing more of your content. Take care!❤
Linda, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm very glad you have found me. Thank you so much for taking time to catch up on some of my older stuff it really means a lot. Talk to you again soon I hope!!
It's so sad to see such Beautiful homes in this condition.
Hey Virginia! I'm glad you saw this one. I agree with you it's always sad to see you especially when so many personal belongings are left behind. I'll never understand how family can just leave things like that. Thanks for watching this one!
Camp Crystal Lake Vibes With Those Little Buildings Around The Pool.. .
Hey Stella! Thank you for watching and commenting, I hope those are good vibes!??
I had been waiting for your explore of this place I am not disappointed. There is so much stuff to see, I will have to rewatch over the weekend. Always awesome explores. Keep Orange Crushing It!
Thank you so much Tommy I'm glad that you were there for the premiere tonight and I hope that you really enjoyed it. Hopefully the rewatch will be even better for you!! Thanks brother
Geez that pool is one solid ice cube 🧊 cool old snow scooters mate. Still loving the old wallpaper in these explores the old mirror and clock on the wall, so much cool old stuff that old clock awesome man another cool explore Greg.
Hey Werner, thanks for watching man. that pool probably isn't as solid as you'd think, we didn't have a normal winter, but normally, that could be a mini rink. Glad you enjoyed it buddy! thank you
@@UncappedFilms cool mate glad you didn’t walk over that pool you would of be an icicle too great work cheers
Haha trust me it couldn't have been frozen long. Not doing it hahah
This would have been one heck of a nice property back in its day. A great weekend retreat. I wouldnt live here full time. Again awesome work Uncapped Films. Big hugs. 😊😊
P.S. Thankfully no poo finger this time around
I agree. I would love to live three though.
that fireplace is great and I like the blue wallpaper
Hey Elizabeth! Then fireplace is pretty cool eh? I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Thank you very much for watching! I hope you'll check out some more of my stuff!
Rat terds on the maple leafs lol
Lol. They just can't catch a break
Gee, there's a lot going on in here. It wouldn't take too much work just to clean it out and make it presentable. Get a lot of people together and clear everything out then the home could be used for skiing and vacations.
Hey Didi. Totally not a bad idea. It would take a lot of people but they could clean it out. Who wouldn't appreciate a nice log cabin still?? Thank you for checking this one out I appreciate it
In the room before the budweiser bottle, there's a butane bottle and lamp on top... those are out since the 2000's, some one came there before you did...
Hey Miguel! Thank you for watching and commenting! I think you may be right about that!
Great explore! As you said in chat..Just needs a little TLC😂😂
The pool was quite the surprise!
Thanks for the excellent tour! Keep on rockin'🤘
Haha yeah a little will do it! Pool was a genuine surprise to me. I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much thanks for being there
I dont know about those ceiling beams, but in the 70s they had beams that looked 100% real, made of a type of styrofoam. Would would not know until you lifted them.
Now that you mention that I wonder. Although I do think they were real in this case. But for the future I will keep that in mind because I did not know that! Thanks again Cece
Hi Greg, a really large property, such a shame that there are so many things lying around outside. This place has definitely seen better days. A cool, awesome and interesting place that has that typical lost place charm.
The wooden chest with the decorations is beautiful, and if it were cleaned properly again, it would be a real eye-catcher.
It goes without saying that you shouldn't go into rooms where the floor has been broken into. Safety always comes first, we all don't want anything to happen. We want to enjoy many more of your wonderful videos and explorations. Take care, stay safe and thanks for this amazing explanation. 🙏❤️
Hey Andrea! glad you saw this one, it really is a shame everything was left like that. I would love to know what the backstory is here. That chest (and the desk were amazing actually).. I agree you support my opinion on avoiding that floor!! I live to explore one day more! Thank you Andrea as always, I really appreciate your support!!
@@UncappedFilms @UncappedFilms I agree, the backstory would be really interesting to know.
With any house/place, it's always very interesting to find out why it was abandoned and what happened there. Unfortunately, these backstories are not always easy to find out.
Those wire/cable spools make nice tables when they're cleaned up, stained with a nice coat of polyurathane or something to protect it. It looks to me like the small house was the original then they built the log house and moved into that one. They probably rented out the small one to vacationers or kept it, as you say, as a guest house for family & friends. Wisdom....knowing when you shouldn't walk on a floor 💡 I agree with John's comment, the owner was probably a roofer. In the distance at 43:11, is that a lake or just a snow covered field? I love that elephant display at 44:22. Great find.
Hey Carol! Thanks for watching this one. You're the second person that mentioned using those spools as tables, I had no idea I never thought of that. It's possible that you're right about that theory with the houses on the property.
I'm not sure if it's a lake or not to be honest I don't know the area, so I'm not sure..
The elephant thing is definitely cool I liked it too! Thank you again I really appreciate it
Hello Noah and hi ya Greg! 😊 I wonder what the story is behind these buildings? 😊
Taki it easy! Bye, 🖐😀
Hey Didi! There are a few stories floating around, I'm not sure if they're true so I didn't repeat them
That wasn't an ax on the floor, it's a wood splitter. That stove would have put out a lot more heat than the fireplace and held a fire overnight much better.
Hey Jo Ann! Thank you for correcting me. And you're right about the stove bring more efficient. I guess it just looks strange to me. Thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!
Very cool 😎 do you think it could have been a hunting retreat?
Hey I'm not sure. It's possible but I'm not sure if hunting is allowed in the area or not.
Like how you talk throughout the Video & make sure to show us all the cool points of the Cabin
Hi Sharon. Thank you for watching the video and leaving the comments I really appreciate hearing from you every time. Thank you for the compliments I also appreciate that!
Noah was funny. 😂he won’t let it go what happened lol. This place is beautiful.
Lol yes he is hilarious. I'm glad I was able to boost that up so everybody could hear it
I won't let I go cause he chased me around with that nasty finger off camera 😅
Bahahaha
Lol Noah

Look at that pool😮 I'm loving the land its on 😍 It sorta looks like people were just dropping junk off there how could someone have all that?? Loving the views no it iIs not worth It Greg be safe on all explores !!! I would swim in that pool!! like the beams. That stone work. Any animal prints in the snow?? Like the walls Inside. ❤ that chest. Wow that kitchen😯 wow. That's a old Microwave! Nice fireplace😍 love the beams 😍 I would ❤ to have a cup of coffee sitting on that porch. Like the ceiling😍 Well Greg thanks for taking us on another great explore👍✌ onto the next
Hey Catherine!! It's a huge piece of land eh? That stuff actually belonged to the guy that lived there from the stories I've heard!
I would swim in that pool too, it's pretty awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed this one! thank you so much for continuing to watch and catch up on these!!
What a beautiful spot to live, I'd move there in a heartbeat
I totally agree!! Its an amazing peaceful place
That's a Big A§§ Pool😮
Yes! And it's so remote ,I love it
The Coleman unit is a furnace
Hey Cece, it's a pretty cool looking unit I've never seen one like that before. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Is that pool a natural pond?
I'm not sure to be honest. When the water eventually get too disgusting to treat.
Lots of junk lying around outside. I guess they didn’t have money to do the roof, so they just used tarps and tires to keep it down. Ash trays in the armrest. Crazy. The views are lovely on the property. Beautiful fireplace in the White House with the green painted window frames. Burrs and prickles go w exploring 😅. Wow what a huge pool!!! Great for playing hockey on in the winter ❄️. I really liked the green front door of the white guesthouse with the three little glass panels in it. Fireplace in the main house is ugly. Nice wall with the logs in the main cabin and cute. They have the Christmas lights up. It was definitely the family cottage because it had a pool. Cedar panelling keeps out moths. Nice chest. Very nice door in the main room with the glass. Nice vaulted ceilings. Thank goodness no brown bomber. Orange staining in the bathroom sink etc. means there’s a very high content of iron in the water. Great video as always 🎉
Hi Kathi!! I think that roof could also have deteriorated over the years since they left, but maybe it was starting when they were still there. The pool is incredible right?? I also loved that chest.... Thank you so much for watching as usual, I appreciate you very much.. and some were disappointed the brown bomber didn't visit!
Loved this one ❤
Ms Sunshine, thank you so much for your generosity. I'm really happy that you watch this and enjoyed it! It was a really cool spot to share. Thank you so much
