    I’ve worked for customers like the 2nd one and let me say you handled that very well.

      Although, the 2nd customer got away with xtra work after the quote. He should've said "I am happy to do that magic for ya, let's say another $65

    😂 I’ve had many people watch or just pull up a chair. I’ve never had somebody pull out their phone and record like it was a street fight. Too funny, great video!

      never had one record me either. I could've made an entire 20 min video just on that job. I cut out literally 98% of the interaction.

    Should’ve told the second guy what you told the first customers. “You’re a great help. If you need any work let me know” 😂 Keep up the grind!

    Learned many lessons over the years. I never do on the spot estimates. New clients, I meet them, discuss their issues, and take pics. Then, I text them an estimate the next day. I need to know who I am working for...

    • @utubehandyman
      @utubehandyman  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I had already given him an estimate over the phone but he didn't mention patching the broken piece. This is an easy 1 hour job otherwise.

    Good video. You should do more videos like this. Very transparent with why you did certain things and explained your prices. You can definitely charge more for your services but if you and the customer are happy thats all that matters.

    Good view into a run of the mill easy day. Amazing how long simple jobs take sometimes. It happens a lot and people don’t realize $200 for 3 hours of work and a trip to HD to get paint. Great deal for them. I use those hanging cleats on anything large or heavy going on the wall. Such an easy secure system. Little pricey for the big ones but oh well. Allen you should pack/make your lunch daily dude. Maybe you don’t do this but if you do- your spending what $10 a day on lunch. 6 days a week that’s $240 a month just “lunch”

    good you eat them eggs: pricewise they have the best bang for your buck because there's a high quality amino-acid profile in them. Absolute cognitve booster also: B vitamines and choline.

      It had hard water build up and they just wanted it replaced but yes, simple oring would've fixed it.

    No more discounts!
    Unless they ask for it to secure the job!
    I have done 1000 jobs last year and I am looking at the numbers of how much I lost on discounts
    It is mind blowing
    1000 x 35 = $35,000
    That’s a new Tacoma

    I agree with you to stay away from fast food. My reason is those employees do not wash their hands and use nasty gloves if at all. I try to pack my lunch. I only work April 1st thru October 31st. I'm a 64 year old handyman, painter and plumber
