- Edelbrock introduces its new EFORCE Supercharger System for 2005 to 2009 4.6L 3V Mustangs This unit has been Dyno and road test to deliver a pavement pounding 466 horsepower and 439 ft-lbs of torque with ONLY 5 lbs of boost. AWESOME!!!

The engineering and design work that went into the E-Force system is just beautiful to behold. It's a completely new generation of supercharger design, a natural evolution of forced induction that brings together technologies from OEM and aftermarket in the most glorious of marriages.
Now if only I could afford one...
Uh I believe that the price for one that fits a 5.7 Hemi is approx 7-800$ .
Great design. I am looking at the kit for a 2008 C6 LS3 Corvette. Should make it an even more incredible street machine.

The Mustang with the least amount of mileage would be in your favor,
compression test tells you the condition as well. Make sure it's 2005 + later for our kit.

Jorge Botero, I would love this twin screw S.C, on my 18 T/A "392". I've read a large amount of problem's that erupt when boosting our Apache powerplants. Do to the fact our low ends are cast and not Forged. I have put a large amount of research into Supercharging our engine's and the E-Force is the way to go.
I'd be sold on this kit, if it had the whine. Don't you guys realize, WE WANT THE WHINE!

The rotor group oil is already installed and should not need replacing for around 100,000 miles. In fact, we put a seal on the fill plug so we can tell if it has been tampered with in case of a warranty issue. Hope this helps.
@kaution9876 All of our E-Force Superchargers require 91 octane minimum, this is how we designed the systems and also how they achieve the horsepower levels we make with our supercharger kits. You are still capable of achieving better mileage when not in boost, and yes 91 octane or more does cost a little more then 87 octane. We do not offer a tune for using less then 91 octane. We are talking about mileage not fuel costs, as this differs nation wide state by state.
Yes you can use our Kit # 1580 on 2005-2009 4.6L 3V. Will not work on 2004 and earlier as they are 2V.
@kaution9876 Yes you could use a shorty tube type header if it replaces the cast iron
manifolds only, no long tube full length headers at all. However if you choose to install shorty headers your supplemental warranty will be voided.
@screaming355 Well for one, we havent done the computer mapping for the system and the runners on the intake manifold are different. Hope this helps.
I just read about compression tests. I found my answer. You’ll want a consistent reading of above 100 psi on each cylinder head. A reading of above and around 100 psi states that you have healthy cylinders, valves, and rings.
Was planning to get a whipple for my 2006 f150 but this looks cooler and sounds better

will this void any warranty on my 2014 challenger r/t 5.7? I dont see colder spark plugs or a throttle body in any of the product pictures. Are they still included?
Two questions:
1) Is the supercharger CARB compliant for California?
2) Will the shock tower brace for a 2008 Bullitt fit over the supercharger?

I HAVE THIS SUPERCHARGER IN MY 2006 MUSTANG GT AND I LOVE IT!!! CAME WITH THE OLDER PREDATOR TUNER AND I WONDER IF I NEED TO UPDATE IT OR LEAVE IT BE....

My stang has 126,000 miles. I plan to get a compression check first. If that goes well, will I be ok to install this on my 06 GT? My car is a daily

What if I have other mods done to the car like I have 373 gears , cold air intake, sr performance under drive pulleys , comp cams stage 2 naturally aspirated cams , off road X pipes and pipes pipe bomb resonated tips ? When I install the super charger and y’all calibrate the tuner can y’all add those mods to the tuner? And I also have a 93 race tune on it. Thanks

I plan to purchase a 3v 4.6 mustang within the next month and plan on installing a s/c kit.is there a general rule of thumb when considering vehicle mileage? Or shuld a good resulting compression test suffice?

I definitely plan to get a s197 model,trying to research safe hp levels to b obtained with the 3v 4.6 and it has been speculated by many that 450 would b max on stock internals,but it all seems to jus b speculation,what say you edelbrock?

Can this supercharger be rebuilt? I’ve googled and can’t find any parts for the Edelbrock e force.
i really want the edelbrock e force, but i wonna also get a twin turbo set for compound boost and ford racing hot rod cams. do you think i could safely and reliably run that combination? im not too terribly worried about making top end horsepower because i want a street car still, but something thats still faster than stock

and why 91/93 octane . the E-force might not change mpg.
but i does change your fuel economy by the higher cost of 91/93 octane fuel
why not reg. 87 octane ? i'll take a little less hp for that .
maybe a 87 octane program option .

As you know gas milage is subjective to how heavy your foot is. But all things considered, gas milage should not be affected in any significant amount under normal driving conditions due to the addition of an EForce Supercharger.

With the E-force superchargers can the head unit be unbolted if it ever needs to be replaced or do you have to replace the entire unit as one piece including the intake and intercooler?

@@EdelbrockTV that is great because I want an Edelbrock E Force supercharger because it is so quiet. I am glad this company understands that not everyone wants to hear a stupid whine on a daily driver!
I do have one question though, will traction be really difficult? I am leanimg slightly towards a centrifugal supercharger because I hear they are easier to launch but I hate supercharger noises

pro charger, one of the other cetrifical super chargers that mount on the front of the engine.
Edelbrock guys, I have an 06 mustang GT with frpp hotrod cams and will the tune you sent with this kits accommodation these cams and create a little more power? I am debating getting this full kit and need to know about the function of the kit with my cams.
