  • While the Coyote engine responds well to basic bolt ons, those can only take horsepower so far, we install an Edelbrock E-Force Stage 2 Supercharger kit on a 2013 Mustang GT to demonstrate real world power gains and results at the track.

    Considering the SC route, this Edelbrock unit is pretty slick.

    How come no one ever mentions a price with this stuff? How am I to consider if it would be worth it for me to look into on my mustang if I dont have a ballpark price from your experience?
    Would be nice for you to share that info as well.

      He was probably on a Mustang Dyno. the numbers are lower on a Mustang Dyno vs a Dynojet.

      ISEE YOU If you jump to 1:24 you can see their graph mention Dynojet. Feel free to check out the video (in my channel) of my mustang doing my claimed 385 on a Dynojet.

      385 makes perfect sense to me and is easy to achieve with these cars. I don't understand why his dyno claims were so low stock.. I claim BS..

    • @BrickMuffin

      yea, i could understand a small drop due to being an auto, but this seems a little fishy to me.

    you estimated 1/4 mile times are way off 6.95 at 98mph 10.9 with that low 1/8th trap speed and 7.4 on motor is 11.6

    Was that 330WHP stock like "bone" stock? Because you said you modded it out N/A aspirated in the beginning which, if it's 330 with bolt-ons, would mean it made ~300WHP stock. Another member I follow on YT with a 13 makes 430WHP with basic bolt ons, so the disparity is huge. Does an Auto over the 6 speed really make that much difference?

    I have a 11' GT auto. Full exhaust, intake, tune and converter I made over 400hp at the tires. This thing did not gain almost 200 wheel horsepower. It's more like 120 hp gain. Get a Lund or AED tune and it should put down much better #'s. I still think the e-force is one of the ugliest superchargers out there for the coyote engine, and it also puts down the least amount of power

    • @dghost198
      @dghost198 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      weemon2k2 what can u expect from those tunes?

    • @rodolfoem2011
      @rodolfoem2011 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is one of the ugliest but its the easiest install with barely any modifications. And the power depends on the tune/pulley size.

      On, my 2012 GT, Auto, Pro Charger, Cobra Jet intake, twin 65 mm TB, full exhaust. I had a SCT 93 tune. That was garbage. Speed Shop put in HP tune which was way better. Car makes 632 to the ground at 10 psi.

    337 stock? Do they really lose that much compared to a manual? I've seen stock coyotes with manuals make like 360 to 370+ stock.

    • @billymays489
      @billymays489 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      it varies dyno to dyno. iv seen automatic's put down 350 stock.

      transfer of power is less efficient in an automatic. autos that use torque converters all have slippage

    • @chadbrattain7985
      @chadbrattain7985 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That can't be right. Stock gen 1 2011s are 412hp to the crank. There is something wrong with your car if you are losing a 1/3 of HP from motor to wheels. My stock 2011 GT/CS was 392hp to the wheels on the dyno before my exhaust mods and cold air intake. With the CAI and exhausted and the tune I'm putting down 435hp to the wheels. Plus the 2013 has alittle more HP a 435hp to the crank. You need to get your transmission checked out and your engine. The 3v 4.6 mustang GT is putting down the same power that you are getting from your 5.0 coyote, that should tell you that something is not right.
