    I got the eddelbrock supercharger, had to get the D box Smoothie and then a custom tune also. Quite a few kinks to work out, including a leaky supercharger from summit racing, which was exchanged at no cost (other than additional labor out of my pocket) but all in all I'm very happy with the kit. It's like driving a whole different car.

    fellow edelbrocker, interesting video but a few disagreements. fuel pump and injectors aren't necessary unless you're pumping e85.. not sure why you're saying they're mandatory. mine runs perfect on 91 octane, stock header with custom dyno tune. At about 55k miles, 10k of those with the 'Brock. power comes on at 2500 rpm which is highly noticeable in daily driving.
    yeah it's easier to bring the rear out with the power but i think you might have screwed up your suspension a bit with the sway bars, totally unnecessary.

    • @frsguy5347

      if you have a good tune and exhaust the pump can't keep up and the stock injectors will be maxed out... or like I say my pump was bad... so stock may support 240 hp but not 300hp safely...

    I'm planning to get an Edelbrock supercharger for my brz as well as a cat back exhaust, will everything be fine if I keep the stock tune they give you if you order the one that comes tuned?

    • @frsguy5347
      @frsguy5347  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be fine with the stock tune and a cat back. when you get it going do data logs to make sure everything is ok, no knocking and correct F/A ratio and don't go crazy till you know every thing is OK..

    The reason your car is throwing itself around is maybe because you're driving like a d-bag. There is a difference between having fun with your ride and driving dangerously.
