Never switched my thumbs up on a video to a thumbs down quicker. You want to know why you've only got 34 likes? Because you placed the wrong bloody item links in the pinned comment. You linked them to the knock off versions. The ones in the links ARE NOT the one you just reviewed in the video. Nice one.
Hey @@MidnightPodcastGaming ! Appreciate the feedback! Let me have another look at those links. I believe the unit is different depending on the region not knock offs as such just an equivalent from that region. Mine is specifically an Aussie one and I might have US and UK versions in my links. They all have different plugs so need to be careful there. I’ll see if I can a source the Aussie one too so it matches. Which region you in?
@@LovingTechLife I'm Aussie too. I'm on the Aussie version right now. Exact same model as the one in your video. 115. Same price as in your video. THAT is the model people need to get. The others aren't 100% the same. They even look different.
Hey @@MidnightPodcastGaming thank you, due to your feedback I have now added the Aussie one to the pinned comment and the description and mentioned that this is the exact one as is in the video. Yes they look different in each region but they should function the same with same power etc based on the spec of each. By the way let me know if you have any questions on the device itself. 👍🏻
@@LovingTechLife Maybe they won't, that would be the fear for many. There are bad reviews on those other ones. None on the one you did a video on. 115 is a lot of money. Unsure if I would just be better off with a 40 dollar one. I dunno. I'm conflicted.
Great review. One tip though, make sure to hold the fan the blades to stop the bearing/motor being damaged by exceeding the RPM of the fan itself. Also, this amount of dust was criminal. So, in the words of Joey Swoll: "You need to do BETTER!"
Hey @audiojunkie5435! Thanks for the feedback, yes I was going to town on spinning those blades for the video alright. I couldn’t believe it when I found those filters how bad they were. Hidden between a couple of doors at the front I kinda forgot they were even there, so bad 😅

Any thoughts on longevity? I almost bought this today, but got put off by the negative reviews that talk about it exploding and spewing hot parts all over the place!
Hey @@CB27 ! Mine is still working great. I make sure not to overheat it by running it for too long without a break-something I think others might be doing, running it so hot that they cause it to explode!
@@LovingTechLifeehh of course the device shouldn't have that problem to begin with. Sounds like it's dangerous and shouldn't be sold. The only ethical thing you can do is to verify these claims, then edit the video in all ways possible to warn people from buying the product.
Hi. Can the mainboard circuits be cleaned with the tubular brush attachment? (not just with brushes). I really mean crawling over the electronic components without the danger of generating electrostatic charges and therefore damaging them.
Hey @LucianoPiana! I reached out to IT Dusters to ask and I can confirm that the brush on the nozzle is ESD-safe even when used with the CompuCleaner running.
I really appreciated the (extra) effort. Thanks for the video and additional information. Let's hope the followers increase. Subscription done@@LovingTechLife
Hi Kahahabahaha! I asked the company that makes this if they would be releasing it in the US recently and they responded with the following: “Currently the Xpert is a UK and EU only model. Our closest USA model to this is the AirTec Type 6 which uses the same platform” So the AirTec Type 6 is the same thing on the inside but can’t comment on the DataVacs.
Hey NaR00W! It’s just the filter for the air going into the duster. It already comes installed inside and they include a spare one. Yes IT Dusters do sell packs of replacement filters.
@@LovingTechLife lol good question… prob vacuum cleaners to test it out. I have a few classic cars that I like to tinker with where I will use it and I’m a hardware tech person so have a lot of electronics where it will be handy
Hi, I watched the video since I'm wondering if I should get this and on literally every electric air duster, no matter if this one or others (wired or with battery) I read bad reviews, that they had instances of these devices shorting out after only a few uses, some even spitting out charred electric components, simply being a fire hazard. I'm wondering, how your piece is holding up, since you maybe have used it a few times by now? Is it still working fine?
Hey @Magiconlce! It’s been running great for the past few months. However I was already aware that I shouldn’t be running it at full power for an extended period of time as that will over heat it and cause problems.
Hey Deicidium! Yes, you should keep the blades still with tape or at least by holding them. I spun them purely for demonstration purpose of the power of the duster and probably damaged the bearings.
I need this (I think?) to clean the flywheel of my Concept 2 rowing machine. Does anyone here have experience with this item for row ergs? Also, I live in Malaysia...the voltage is 240 and the plug type is G (3 rectangular pins). If I purchase this item online do I have the option of choosing between different plug types? Or would I have to change it myself after the item is delivered? Thanks for the feedback...and great video by the way!!!

Hey SOREI! They are designed to be used with PCs and the brushes are ESD safe. The main thing is not to let the fan spin like crazy like I didn’t purely for demonstration purposes in the video 😅
Hey Splendorman! Thanks for the info, it was more for demonstration purposes to see how powerful the air was. Fortunately they seem ok for now, the sacrifices we make for a video 😅
Yes, obviously and for anyone else reading this do not follow my example when you clean your own fans. I spun the ones I had purely for demonstration purposes to show the strength of the air duster. 👍🏻

How would you say this compares to the AirTec type 6 and the various DataVacs?

Is there a difference with this type of electric air dusters with bigger body/canister vs the electric air dusters that is more gun shape?
I think it all comes down to the power the have and how strong they are. The bigger they are the stronger the air.
Got this coming today, cant wait. Nice video!
Hey @WinstonBurford! Thanks for your feedback. What are you going to blast with it?
you should get some paddlepop sticks and stick them between the fan blades so the blades don't spin when you blow on them.
Great idea Adam! 👍🏻
What's that red pad filter you put in the bottom? How long does it last, can you buy new ones?
