@@fmmderetarzi samsung's software was always good so stability is not a concern, maybe heat would be an issue but fuck cameras when even budget mid range original cameras take 20x better photos than s24u/15 pro max, cameras havent been in my priority list since so long.
@@AkaruIez for you then exynos is good, for me it's not....I don't have a game on my phone and battery life and camera is a priority

your mile may vary
If camera is worse than SD then I'm getting an iPhone 😅
Wow Exynos 2400 beyond my expectations
I was ready to shit on exynos but man was I so wrong😂
Probably, the PTSD kicked in😂 But it's way better now!
Everyone is probably having a 'surprised Pikachu face'
Well exynos has a bad reputation haha 😂😂
Shitnos ❌ Exynos is now Sexynos 😂🗿
The only thing that changed is performance in apps. Battery usage is still worse than the SD, Camera quality is still worse than the SD, and even the performance is still slightly worse than the SD.
The main problem there is the price. If S24+ would cost like half of the S24U, it would be the perfect choice. But in EU, it's like ~1200€ for S24+ Vs ~1450€ for S24U. That ~250€ difference is nothing if you consider the extra features. And if you are still like "S24+ is enough for me! It has everything I need!" then just go for S23U. Similar Camera, similar performance in games and apps, better battery life, bigger screen, and it's even cheaper right now than the S24+.
Qualcomm and Apple seemed to have gone with the path to push as much power into the chips for impressive benchmarks, but power efficiency and heat have suffered as a result.
Exynos looks like they're trying to be more conservative in clock speed to keep the chip from getting too hot.
Exactly and less heat means less throttle, less battery drain, less screen dimming etc

This is good. I heard that Qualcomm's chips are getting more expensive. Thats why more brands using alternative from Mediatek to keep the cost down. Maybe Exynos 2400 can be another good alternative. It will add more competition in Android chip market.

Exynos finally no longer a literal hot garbage lel, the significant improvement with Samsung 4LPP+ plus 2400's conservative clock speed really helps with it's gaming performance I think.
if it's going to beat snapdragon once and for all then I will trust exynos again but still no, it will take decades to samsung to get rid of exynos and make a custom chip exclusive for their smarphone product, exynos is not their chip department for Smartphones....
@@SkyserAspili bro, why need to beat snapdragon at all as long as it performs well enough for a flagship we're ok with it. It's not a gaming phone after all.

No one expected such a result from the new Samsung processor, including me. I think if you slightly change the graphics settings in the game (while seeing almost no difference), as well as optimise the settings of the smartphone itself, it will be able to achieve a more stable FPS. In addition, the smartphone line has just come out, maybe with the next software updates the situation will become even better. But even so, the result is very good, Samsung really tried. Thanks for the video!
Yeah, no way you gonna run this game at max settings with smartphone unless you have stock cooling, i use smartphone for work too so not gonna risk myself for just a few heavy gaming like this, medium 60fps always good enough.

My prev samsung phones (samsung s21 and s22) both used the Exynos chip. Both of them would overheat a lot especially when using Google Maps or playing video games and even moreso when using them + charging. Have you heard of these problems on Exynos Samsung Phones?
Now we need s22+ exynos vs s22+ SD3. Exynos should perform even better I think. Anyway, I'm glad Samsung finaly did a good chipset. Imagine this using FSR 3...
Samsung did improve Exynos compared to the previous iterations. I always check the leaks and tests before it got released. People just got used to its bad performance record before that most of them thought the new one (2400) is bad as well.
I am about to watch this video and I'm wondering if the power consumption (amount of Watts per performance) is also taken into account/consideration. Thanks!
How about the battery?
wow exynos improved a lot. Excited for next year exynos 2500 / dream chip😁
Waiting for exynos with Nvidia collab xD
For anyone thinking the Exynos 2400 is not a great chip, please be of no doubt that this little beast is out there to change people's opinions of Exynos big time. It's performance and efficiency will certainly do this in my opinion. It's benchmark test figures and overall performance and efficiency in development have been superb.
it's not a great chip since it also affects to battery, heat throttling and camera...

@@Azad_913 but keep the exynos away from the Samsung Ultras...
There are differences between Exynos then and now. In the past, even though they promised an increase in performance, they still adhered closely to the design of the core components of the ARM architecture such as the Arm CPU, Mali GPU, even though they had their own design, but perhaps they used Samsung's own version of memory or modem, but still Most of them are still oriented towards the ARM set design. Different from Snapdragon, even though it uses a CPU configuration that is almost the same as the Exynos Chipset, they have not used Mali GPUs in the past but have used their own GPU which they named the Adreno series, which used to be an AMD project that Qualcomm bought to develop their mobile GPUs. Samsung has worked with AMD to develop their own GPU under the name Xclipse. Different from previous years, they used the ARM Mali series GPU, looking at the FPS in Genshin Impact, it seems they have succeeded in producing stable graphics performance.
why didn’t they use that chip everywhere else then???
That extra two core did something quite a bit but the batt consump is a little bit high at eating out the batt
What about battery efficiency? sometimes it isn't about just performance but battery drain also because if it still heats and throttles, what is battery holding upto in comparison. Especially with base s24 smaller battery...
That video is out too!
it is more efficient than sd8g3
Thank you for this review, new subscriber here, this is the only review I saw that I am searching for. I have ordered the s24+ already before knowing that in my region we got exynos and not sd 8 gen 3 so I kinda feeling I regret getting it but I really wanted the plus variant and not the ultra as I dont see myself using that spen and dont like too many cameras. My worries is the throttling, heating and battery usage on exynos as I am upgrading from s22+ sd 8 gen 1 cause of terrible batt life and throttling issues, now since s24# it using exynos im thinking I might get the same result but upon seeing this video, the throttling worries is gone, now only the battery life is my concern 😅 I hope you get a chance to do a battery test as well. If its the same I will just sell the unit and get s23 plus intead
Yes sir the battery test will come in the full review
Without a question there's room for improvement on the AMD drivers. If they optimize it, can you imagine the possibilities here? I'm happy that we're probably running away from Mali for good.
Mali is strong now anyway. The issue has always been the Samsung node not the gpu type
Is the battery life test for the small S24 coming? Also the Plus please?
So, should i buy the exynos which is available in my country or i order the snapdragon? S24+
I don't expect exynos 2400 to compete with sd 8 gen 3, but if it can compete with 8 gen 2 in terms of power efficiency , it will by great.

Wow, thanks for the review, and damn that Exynos Chip is bussing this year, since Iam a CODM player, might just go for the ultra
Yah ultra better
But surprised with the exynos
@anwarsaid9334 me too bro damn, Samsung is actually getting better at making their chips
Yah
In Genshin Impact this Exynos was better than the Snapdragon 8 gen 3
@ToTheBestX After updates, the snapdragon will be a beast
Bro You have to do an S24/S24+ Snapdragon test with the S24/S24+ Exynos test.
What's cool too is that the S24+ has a 1440p display after so many years of the plus models only being 1080p
💯
I think this year the Plus got a lot of upgrades that's good for the users
WOW, one of the few real geek tech reviewer left... So passionate about tech, love it!
I remember when tech reviewer used to talk about custom ROM, Cyanogenmod and stuff but now they all just 'Applefied'
I am from that era 🤣
Me too miss those era 🥹 keep up the good work bro 💪💪💪
I know Antutu isn't everything, but for I see from Brazilian TH-camrs, the Exynos are getting a little better results than the Snapdragon Gen 3.
From which channel did you get the info?
Onde você viu esse video ?
@@iAfroTech Live do JG Tech de ontem (teste ao vivo do S24 Ultra) e o vídeo, acho que do BGeeks do S24 Plus
@@Eduardo1007 .
because exynos is 10 core processor
Thanks for your work!!🙏🙏you are already on sammobile, like a big star:)) we are waiting also for battery test
Just preodered my S24+. I have always been in love with the S plus line as I couldn't care less about the S pen. Trading in my S20+ and some discounts and a free samsung watch is a good deal
that bezel is thin🔥
Perhaps the frame rate is more stable than SNAP 8 GEN 3.
That doesn't make sense
Yeah, even in the 3d mark test the exynos 2400 has a higher score and better stability than 8 gen3
@@Udayveer_Singh yeah bro
Camera, battery and other apps open response comparison please?
Although exynos improved in performance, consumption exceeds the SD 8g3, in the video the s24U uses only 36% of the battery while the exynos uses 56%, a difference of 20% less in the SD m
@NL Tech Hey, I am from India and we have only option of purchasing S24+ with Exynos version.
I have pre-ordered the phone for which I am getting some additional purchase discount and upgrade benefits.
I am switching to Samsung after a long time. Hope it won't disappoint me ...
We common people rely on you TH-camrs to get right advise and guidance.
What are you at? Get the S24U instead.
@@nexelg yes prebooked 24+ but stock was unavialable at the time of purchase. Hence, bought Ultra. Got some additional discount and its decent in terms of initial usage review.
We common people dont even use half of the mobiles' features. Its just to use a Non chinese smart phone having good brand equity :)
Can you do the battery test before my s24+ arrive because i was thinking or return it because of the exynos chipset
Uh oh...
Return it and order the 24 ultra instead.
@NL Tech. Hello. Thank you so much this awesome video.
Can you Test this phone with Honkai Star Rail (Maximum settings and 60 FPS) (and Exalting Sanctum in Luofu is most demanding zone in HSR) Please !!! 😊🙏
Battery test please. Thats what most people want to know the efficiency
