    exynos is so impressive this year 😯the s24 plus is such a tempting phone as well,with those thin bezels and the 1440p screen alongside good performance

    Damn this generation 8gen3 and exynos draws a lot of power. I thought it would hover around 5-7 watt similar to dimensity 9300(well generally lower than 6 watt). But kudos for exynos 2400 still impressive.

    While people are comparing Samsung's Exynos processor to other flagships, the one feature that's only available on Samsung devices and which should also be added by other companies in their smartphone software is that battery bypass feature which can help flagship phones stay cooler while gaming and the battery also doesn't detoriate in the long run meaning better battery performance in the long run. Like great job Samsung. I hope other brands also add this to their smartphones. Because battery replacement cost in non battery removeable smartphone is really expensive. So, this feature helps us a lot for all the samsung smartphone users out there.

      @@carxdr559 Yep, but not a lot of people buy Sony phones, because they are as expensive as Samsung's ultra series. Plus, Sony doesn't launch their phones in all markets. So what's the meaning even if they had this feature 3 years earlier than Samsung. Because, considering the people who did buy a Sony phone was due to their excellent camera and not gaming. So, most people didn't even use this feature in a Sony phone most of the time.

    The temperatures with the cooler attached are supposed to target Samsung should try to aim at,I've taken note ,and I've seen it on NL videos here of recent battery by-pass videos, when i play a heavy game without battery by-pass my temperature slowly steadily rises....
    But when i redo the same test and immediately connect and enable usb pause delivery (battery by-pass) the temperature hastily climbs through to 40°C then works from there between 43°C to 45°C......where is the "keeps temperature down" part Samsung ?

    • @cakapcakep241
      @cakapcakep241 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Exynos with RDNA GPU doesn't have an openGL driver. They use google's ANGLE, an openGL to Vulkan API code translator. This is the main issue with exynos 2200 and 2400.

    • @flashhong
      @flashhong 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    • @keshinroqudus4737
      @keshinroqudus4737 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It probably won't be corrected, atleast not from Samsung because even Google seem to be heading in the same direction with Android 14, using Angle as the default on the pixel. There are now custom OGL drivers (I e Mesa) but Samsung are just to stubborn to try out one or build one

    • @flashhong
      @flashhong 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @keshinroqudus4737 you are mistaken. Samsung's angle driver contributes highly, and schedule issues are issues that can be sufficiently modified by the manufacturer.

    But that heat which you don't get with the 8gen3 will be more uncomfortable surely after a couple of updates 🤔 I really hope not as I have this exynos version. Been using it for 5 days now and it's really good so far. As always, we are all looking for something bad especially after past experiences with exynos. But seems good. Would still prefer 8gen3 but not possible in the UK. My battery is getting better by the day. Anyways, I have 9 days left to exchange or give back if I find anything uncomfortable to live with. Trouble with that is I will probably lose my free galaxy s6 watch which hasn't been out sent yet. And if I do exchange for the ultra, I won't have the double your storage deal anymore so will just be the 256g. My S24 plus is cobalt violet, 512g. Switched it on the other day just to update apps and it took nearly an hour to update 21 apps on Google which is so long. Once the phone warmed up so to speak, it performed like an animal. I suppose this newer version just has to be much better as we've all been seeing. Tbh, I'm mainly waiting for this update everyone is talking about regarding the vivid mode for the screen where it's stuck on natural. If I don't get this update before my 14 days return guarantee, I'm definitely sending it back! Hopefully they will sort out this issue ASAP. I love vivid mode. Especially with a quad hd screen.

    He shouldve gone off the game and let the phone cool before then using the cooling fan and bypass charging because the cooling fan works better when installed at a cool temperature then itll be better at maintaning those cool temps but to just immidiately stick it on a hot surface just reduces its effectiveness and isnt realisticly how people will be using the fan in real life usage. People stick this thing on THEN start playing the game!

      Yet the TEC cooler still prevented the phone from thermal throttling WITHOUT letting the phone cool down first. That's how effective a TEC cooler can be.
