@EchoAccord You misunderstood. I have a 2016 Nissan Altima with the “bad” CVT. 100,000 miles and just passed down to my kid. I have a new Camry now as my everyday driver. I have a 2016 Colorado that I was thinking of replacing but.. I don’t want turbo, auto start/stop, cylinder deactivation…. Or full size. But I might jump at titan before they’re gone. @@King_TuTT There has to be a way to disconnect that pain! If I end up getting a Frontier because I can't get a Titan, I'll have it removed no matter what! Some say just get used to hitting it to turn it off every time you start it. Idk yet, but no way in hell will I tolerate that on/off crap. One guy said it was a device hooked to the battery the size of a pack of cigarettes! As I said, Idk yet, but it'll come off one way or another. Have y'all ever been in a Frontier at night? Features you want? It's incredibly light on features compared to the other brands and I have to ask why you would celebrate getting terrible non tow/city fuel economy. Thats all you get when you don't go for cylinder deactivation or V6 Turbo.
@@BnMProductions11 Those turbo engines or cylinder deactivation won't last as long as the 5.6 endurance engine. If you don't plan on keeping it long then go ahead and get all that extra stuff to improve mpg by ~2 mpg.
I have a 2012 Titan S. Best truck out there? No, but I love it. 178000 miles and it still runs like a top. I've had minimal maintenance issues, no rust (southwest Ohio), comfortable , roomy and you can hang meat in the cab when the air conditioner on. My favorite thing is the engine. Sweet sounding, plenty of power and I like the way it looks. My least favorite thing is the gas gauge. Man is she thirsty. I realize that it goes with the territory but 14.5 mpg is hard to get used to after driving my 38-40 mpg Versa. I , GOD willing and the mechanic don't retire, am hoping to keep my truck for another couple hundred thousand miles.
Y'all be careful because some of the motors in the Frontier are made in Mexico! Look at the sticker and it'll say Ohio made or Mexico. They're not gonna just tell you, but it'll say where on the sticker!
@@CJColvin Make sure the sticker says motor made in Ohio because some are made in Mexico! If it's new, it'll be on the sticker! If used, Idk where you look for proof!
@dirtyharry72 I've bought my truck new and the motor (for what I've know) in the Titan is made in Tennessee and the whole truck is made in Canton Mississippi.
Sadly people see Nissan and think every vehicle has a cvt, and when shopping for a truck they don’t even give the Titan or frontier a spot on the list to see because of the big three and Toyota bias. I had 2 xterras with the 4.0 v6 and it was super tough. I beat it, jumped it, slammed into curbs, beat it off the limiter, drifted, and it never broke.
They don’t do a great job of advertising their trucks . My uncle bought one with a Cummins v8 in 2017 and seems to love that thing . I’ve worked with guys who had the regular gas model and they’ve never had any complaints. I work with a guy that has a little frontier rear wheel drive and he likes that truck .
I'm not a Nissan fan. 🙃 I am a *"**#Toyota_Tacoma** Fan Boy"* , but to be honest, the only car company that seems not to be having issues here in 2024 is *Nissan* . 🧐 I like the brand new style of the Tacomas and the Tundras. if they had the old V6 in the 2024 Tacoma as an option with a new exterior style, I would buy one. But *NOW* owners of the 2024 Tacomas are also having transmission problems. 🤦🏼
I bought a 2023 midnight sv and love it. Around town a full tank would go approximately 400 miles. Drove it to Cape Corral Florida from Bristol Tennessee on vacation and it would go approximately 500 miles on a full tank. Not sluggish when I needed the power either!!
I think you're exactly right. This could've been their moment as people grow more weary with these turbocharged motors and their reliability. It's a real shame that Nissan's advertising department wasn't more succesful in pushing this truck. It really does off a lot for the money and especially right now you can land one for $10k+ off MSRP easily. Get'em while you can, folks. Once they're gone there'll never be another one like it. (V8).
Perhaps Nissan just didn't publicize this truck enough. Unfortunately for this model when people think Nissan they think cheap 4-cylinder cars and crossovers with bad CVT's. This truck, as good as anything from Ford, Toyota, GM or Ram, was just an odd man out in this manufacturers portfolio. A shame.
I hear you brother, While majority of the Nissan cars are mostly garbage , the Nissan Titan, Frontier, and Armanda are definitely the best vehicles Nissan makes.
Bought a brand new 2024 Pro4X last week. Love the no B.S. V8! Loaded with features that would cost me about $80k in a Tundra. With discounts and rebates I got mine for right at $50k.
I loved my 2008 Titan, I can tell you also from being a dealer, they were good trucks, the early ones had major brake problems, they actually had frontier brakes on front....After that they were fairly bullet proof. I am now in a Ridgeline and really like it! It is enough truck for my needs and it drives like a little Limo..
I've been looking at trucks for a few months now. I've been looking at the Titan, Tundra, Frontier, Ranger Raptor, Ram 1500 and coming from an Armada, the Titan is leading the pack for me. Not having the auto start stop and now seeing the cost come down is helping solidify the choice. My Armada is a 2008 with 170,XXX miles and it has been a beast which is also leaning me towards the Titan.
At the moment the 0% offer from Nissan is pretty hard to beat. There are some drawbacks to the truck, but if you can save $10,000+ over something else AND get 0% it's probably worth it. You can get a SCREAMING deal on a 23 or 24 Ram 1500 with the Hemi. Auto stop start is really easy, turn it off. It is a better truck overall, if you're not saving at least 10kish I'd get a Ram all day. Not a huge fan of the midsize segment myself.
@@BadoreksDailys 0% is good on a decent price. Like I said, I’m noticing the prices falling. Ram would be a stronger argument, but their pricing on ‘24 and ‘25’s is almost as bad as Ford on their F150’s. They’re consistently $10,000 more than the Titan. The issue with the auto stop start is it has to be turned off every time you start the vehicle.
@@fjcruising7121loved my 2007 Tundra, but not willing to pay the "Toyota Tax" on a used one. That's how I wound up with an Armada over a Sequoia when I went looking for a used family hauler.
Just purchased a 2024 Nissan Titan Pro4x for a great price and zero percent financing for five years. I am very happy with the truck thus far. Taking it on a road trip next to the netherlands of Nevada and look forward to cruising it. So far I have averaged 18 mog with mostly stop and go and some freeway, but was able to get 22 mpg on just freeway with cruise control at 65.
I just bought a 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L Endurance V8 in it with 400 HP and 413 Ibs of Torque and man I love it and it's a freakn beast and it sounds like a beast as well and best of all no cylinder deactivation as well.
This is a great truck! I have a 21 pro4x titan xd. I use it mostly for towing a travel trailer. Very comfy, handles and rides great. Really like the power train. The 9 speed is very smooth. I like it so much I bought a frontier pro4x that I like equally as well. The only ones that say this truck is no good are those who never owned one!
My 2004 Titan LE is doing good at 196,000. The reason they are not selling is because they are too good. Plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off. I have put some money into it like timing chain, starter motor, dashboard vents/plastic etc but can't see buying a new truck. Would buy another Titan. Also I have a Northstar Liberty truck camper and have toured from South Florida to Canada 3 times. Just got back vacationing from Naples, FL to Brownsville, Tx and back. No problem.
I had a 2022 Tacoma TRD sport. Loaded sunroof, heated seats, etc. I could no longer tolerate all the gear hunting and feeling like I was sitting on the floor. Wasn’t going for the new turbo so I traded for the TITAN Pro 4X (8/24/24). All the goodies, love the 5.6 na engine. If you’re considering a new truck, just go drive one of these. You might be surprised and it doesn’t cost you anything to test drive.
The best time to advertise v8 I just got new one reserve I usually never go Nissan but saw what’s going on with Toyota said nope after having 3 fords eco and v8 with some issues not to bad but still so hoping this truck will be best truck I have ever had so far so good
I just bought a 2017 Titan SV crew cab with 67k and i absolutely love it. It's our 3rd Nissan in a row, already have Altima and Rogue. Theyve all been very dependable, no makor mechanical issues, easy to work on. Been wanting one ever since i had one as a rental last year.
Had a 2020 Pro4X Baja. Loved it - great features for the price. Things I would’ve changed: Add auto 4x4 like the big 3. Gas consumption was atrocious. Seating position was too high - couldn’t see the stop lights at 6’4” in lowest seating position. Wouldn’t change anything else.
I bought a new '05 Titan and love the bullet proof V8. Well maintained and I will keep it forever. It is a basic crew cab model and have loaded it with some heavy loads. Smooth as silk. Now the reason it never caught on. Nissan never promoted the truck. It was like, the other car companies had one so we needed one too. I honestly think the Frontier is their bread and butter truck and I think they wanted folks to come in to look at the Titan in order to push them into the smaller Frontier. Today you see Frontiers advertised on tv, etc., but never the Titan.
Nissan has a history of mistakes: Pull out of the van market, Amazon buys every van available 😂 Pulls out of full-size truck market, tundra goes V6 and loses the reliability. Next they’ll stop making SUB’s and only make sedans.
I swear their timing is just cursed man but it's ok... Mannn...love my frontier 2015 too coming from Toyota fandom haha frontiers are really solid after I totalled my 2008 frontier
@@crisikingful right? Let me close the truck plant off and make it electric vehicles right after everyone flooded the market with half ass electric vehicles and right before Trump who doesn’t support electric cars gets elected 😂 they just keep digging deeper and deeper.
The truck needed better marketing and it was over due for a full redoe. The truck is largely the same as it was in 2004 with only the front clip being updated for the most part. The cab is exactly the same with that swept back minivan windshield, didn't really fit the updated front clip when they went to the boxier looking front end.
I hope the prices drop drastically i will buy one of the left over 2024's . I currently own a 2021 Tacoma and love it and will keep it but i want to add the Titan to my driveway...
Well, it's a shame that they discontinued the Nissan Titan. I don't understand how they say they don't sell it, but when I'm driving I always come across a Nissan Titan. Wherever I drive, I always see a Titan here in Florida. Those numbers have to be wrong As consumers, it affects us. Because we don't have anywhere else to select a truck and now Toyota with the engine problems is only the Ford, Chevy and Ram in a half ton truck. I hope Nissan takes it back and makes it again. It's a good truck. It does the job and that's what matters and that it does. our easy work without complications😂
2021 SV with 71000 miles here. Towed an RV all over the US and Canada. No issues, no complaints. My RAM die hard father in law just bought a Pro4X based on how great my truck has been and he loves it - coming off a Ram 1500 Longhorn. AND Nissan has a 2025 model on their website - they keep saying last year, then they do another year. I'll but another one at 200K which I will reach in a few years.
Bought a 2024, leaving a 13 year Ram relationship. My Nissan is an XD, Pro 4x. After 6 months of ownership, I love it. Yes, it has faults, like the passenger seat is missing power. Otherwise, it has surprised me. Couldn’t get a deal on a new Ram 2500 gas, even at the over inflated price. Yes, I am happy with this purchase!
You are correct. Nissan should’ve kept this truck with an interior upgrade. They could’ve used the same interior as the current Armada and the other turn off in this truck is the steering column shifter. Relocate the shifter to the center Council and Nissan will have a hit.
I have a 2012,bought used at 51k miles. Just turned 233k this past weekend. Only had to change starter. BEST truck I have ever owned. Will be in it for a long time, God willing.
My 2017 with 22,000 miles is the best I've owned in the last 20 years. I haul a 16' lowboy with an MF tractor and brush hog with better gas mileage and less downshifting than my last 2 GMC's.
Bought a new 2023 Pro4X XD to replace my 09 Frontier with almost 220K trouble free miles. Best value truck and I shopped them all. What I got for my money I would have easily had to spend 10 to 15K more on a similar big 3 pickup and the Tundra? It was also in that boat. The NA engine without all the emissions, cylinder deactivation, auto start stop stuff that breaks sooner or later makes it bullet proof. The transmission has had all the issues worked out and is flawless. The infotainment screen may not be as big as the other trucks but it is big enough. The things that should be controlled by buttons and knobs are there and you don't need to hunt and peck through a bunch of menus and screens to find them. Also, don't forget the 100K mile, 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. Folks complain about the mpg but I have gotten just under 20mpg (19.1) on the highway, driving through Idaho at 85MPH+. You can get the new twin turbo stuff and get 2-3 mpg more but I'm sure those engines won't be as trouble free as the 5.6. Had mine since December and have 18K miles and I'm happy with my purchase. If it's as reliable as my Frontier this will be the last truck I buy. Snatch one up before they are gone or buy a low mileage used one and save even more, you won't regret it.
I was all ready to dump some serious cash to buy a Titan when they announced they were no longer going to make them. Guess I will have to get a Frontier instead. Any 4 cylinder with a turbo is just an invitation to a blown engine and they are now proving that.
I was saving up for 1 (i am in high school) but now that they are discontinued I hope there are still low milageage used ones when I graduate highschool I love Chevy but the Titan & its reliability cant be beat.
I own the same truck but the 2021 model. I bought it 15 months ago second hand with 18,000 miles on the odometer. The truck now has 40,000 miles on it with no maintenance issues whatsoever. Love my 2021 Nissan Titan Pro4x in Baja Storm tan color! I like driving a truck that is unique looking on the road. Very disappointed that 2024 will be the Titan's last model year.
I’ve owned ford/chevy. I’m in my second Titan. Love the truck. People just stick to a brand and aren’t willing to try something different. I did and I’m glad I did…
I'm sad that this is the last titan. I bought my 05 Titan brand new, and she's still going strong. I wish I could afford the 24 because I would love to replace my 05 with the new.
My '05 is still going strong also at 190K, but the frame is so rusted with holes and cracks from NY winters that it won't pass inspection now. I'm in the middle of a deal from my local Nissan dealer to replace it on a 2022 SV with 38k for $29000. Great deals on slightly used ones are out here.
I picked up a 2021 Nissan titan XD platinum reserve with 22k miles for 39k I think it was a fair price from private, but neither party took advantage of the other. The truck is awesome and i did tons of research before moving on from the 22 tundra limited crew max
The fact they canceled the only v8 truck that had no afm or epa bs is just sad. I don't have a brand preference, but for a modern truck, nissan is the only pickup I'd choose. Friend of mine has a 2014 nissan titan with 289k miles. The only problem he's had is exhaust manifold, but that's it.
I think the lack of engine choices also hampered the sales. I’m surprised they didn’t try to offer the 4.0/3.8 V6 along with the 5.6. Yes it would have been a bit underpowered but the starting price would have dropped significantly.
I bought a new one in 2005 for 20K and it now has 110K miles and running great. I will drive until one of us dies. Great truck. Because of this I just bought a new Pathfinder for the wife.
Bought a Titian XD Pro-4X on Monday (6/17). First Titan I've ever purchased; have owned Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Ram, and Toyota in the past. What got me in the door to look and eventually buy: $10K off a $68K fully loaded truck (everyone else was starting at $70K+ for same features), and 0% for 60 months.... haven't seen 0% in I don't even know how many years. Also, since used car prices are still relatively high, was able to get $30K on trade-in (2019 LT Trailboss). It's beyond ridiculous to purchase a truck for $70 -$80K and add 9% + interest rate on top of it.... other manufactures can kiss my ass.
You hit the nail on the head. The reason these trucks are getting away is because the execs at Nissan are knuckleheads. They absolutely should have done more to market these trucks! Most of the big three in the same configuration are only rated to tow around 7500 pounds. Nissan missed their opportunity big time.
Yep, you have to find that needle in the haystack with the options needed to tow with the Big 3 trucks. With the Titan just look for the one with tow mirrors and you know it has the towing package.
I had the first year of the Titan came out 2004. The only real problem with small breaks that came from the frontier but they upgraded of them later for free putting in much bigger brakes that all the rest of them had after that. The engine was made in America, the frame was made in America, the axles are Dana made in America, the body is made in America, only some of the small parts the electronic package in the transmission were made in Japan. I believe it's the same is true for the current one and at this price point if they decided not to discontinue the Titan they would just kill it in the market especially with the problems the Toyotas are having the problem that ram is having teetering on collapse GM and Ford trucks being made in Mexico and Canada and astronomically overpriced!
The 100,000 mile bumper to bumper definitely does not cover bumper to bumper for 5 years. They want you to believe that. But wont find out usually until theyre wanting to charge you for a repair under warranty.
That's a shame because it is the truck we all wished everyone made. All of the cylinder deactivation and turbo nonsense will only call for trouble down the road.
A little change it would leave EVERY 1/2 ton in the dust. My wife had a 2017 SL it was perfect. Only reason we traded it in we were using it as a car and MPG was painful. Now my wife has a Pathfinder and I have a Frontier a perfect balance for us.
I had a Denali, and at 69,000 miles it fell apart. The only reason I have not purchased a Nissan Titan, is because I have the Armada platinum. Absolutely bulletproof! The Titan has the 9 speed, so it should push 18 mpg.
I have 230K miles on my first gen 08 Titan . The VK56 V8 is the best engine ever put in a full sized truck. If I was in the market I'd buy a 2020-2024 Titan without question. I can't remember the last time I saw a Nissan Titan commercial. They could have used me because I could easily point out things my truck had that the other big 3 didn't. I was even a die hard Ford person until I had to lemon law a 06 F150 because it went through 5 transmissions in 27K miles. I switched to the Titan and still have it, because it's still fun to drive. It's not my daily driver anymore, but does everything I need it to do. I absolutely hate my 2020 Ford F150 company truck especially the infotainment system that you need to reboot on every trip. My dad has a 2020 Titan and he loves his and when we went on a cross country trip no issues at all with the infotainment system oh and on that trip it got 20mpg hwy out of a crew cab 4x4.
I bought a 2017 Titan SL 4X4 (bought it in May of 18). Today (Sept of 2024) it has 172,241 miles on it. The original brake linings (pads) are 50% worn (according to Les Schwab). The only thing that ever went wrong is that the starter needed replacement (last year). I simply don't believe that a truck (any truck) was meant to be a tech show piece. If you have a supposed "work truck," yet aren't getting your hands dirty, at least once in a while. Then you've lost the meaning of what a work truck is.
My 2008 got totaled December of 23 with 206,000 mi on it. I was planning on keeping it until the wheels fell off. Unfortunately I could not afford a new truck. Started looking used and even used Titans were more than what I was willing to pay. Started looking at the big three as there were so many out there. Found a Silverado for $3,000 less than a comparable Titan. Hoping the Silverado will last.
@@BadoreksDailys wound up buying a 2016 LT double cab 4x4 with a 5.3. Got it with 65k, my main concern with this truck is the AFM/lifter failure. I purchased a module to stop the AFM from activating. I'm hoping that by not having the lifters collapse and pump up constantly they will last longer..
135,000 miles on mine never seen a shop except for oil changes and tires. My parents have the 2024 Dodge ram Laramie I swear they taken that sucker to the shop at least 3 times not including all the recalls
They probably should have waited, now that the new Tundra has major engine issues Nissan could probably pickup a lot of thier customers. They seem to be doing it with the Frontier now that the new Tacoma is a flop.
you keep saying price point.... however when i bought mine it was 15k less then the big 3 with same features for the most part. Then add in the killer warranty sompared to the big 3. If there is something i haven't liked is the emergency braking while backing up when towing. having to stop to hit a button to turn it off after puttin git in reverse puts me in a bad spot backing into places off busy roads with impatient drivers. They should have made it with a sensor so when the trailer was plugged in the feature was turning off. My dealer says it can't be turned off by them either. Then the other disappointment is that there is little to no aftermarket support. I am guessing that has something to do with the poor sales. IMO otherwise I love mine having it for 3 years now. Poor Marketing of the Titan as well
Problem is Titan still isnt selling. Dealerships in Phoenix are practically giving them away over 13k off msrp . They are good trucks sono dont get it but for whatever reason the teuck just dont sell.
The price is what didn’t help it . Starting price $50k ! Plus most of their trucks only have a 5.5 ft bed . They discontinued the reg cab with the 8 ft bed . And it’s hard to find an extended cab with a 6.5 ft bed . Most contractors and landscapers need a 6.5 to 8 ft bed to fit all their materials and machines . Sad to see this truck discontinued.
I think simple answer to your inquiry is Nissan built a truck that truck enthusiasts said they wanted but then they listened to their buddies who are the big 3 fanboys and went with one of those instead of the Titan and on top of that when a car company builds a car the car community wants they never do well and end up discontinued a little while later happens all the time
Have owned two of them now on a 2021 model, not a lick of trouble. No mickey mouse start stop, cylinder deactivation nonsense. Lastly, I like not supporting the UAW, in any way. When this one dies, it will be a Toyota or maybe downsize to the Frontier, but I will never buy a UAW made vehicle.
With the SCOTUS ruling on Chevron Deference, some of the EPA efficiency standards may get thrown out if not part of specific legislation passed through Congress. So V8s may make a comeback.
Currently Own the diesel xd since brand new. I still have people asking me what motor it is, or if i swapped it or if its a Coyote 5L crazy how many "truck people" dont know much about em. Ill run this to one to the ground and buy another in few yrs for half the $ of a 20yr old big 3.
They have transmission issues. Mine is a 2023 and jerks when slowing down at stop signs or lights. Nissan doesn’t want to fix it because it isn’t that big of an issue and they even brought techs from Japan to get data from my truck. This has been going on since about 900 miles and now have just over 9000 miles.
In a way, I needed this truck hanging around, for when my 2021 Tundra craps out in 20 years maybe. Then I would go to this, because the 2022 and above are garbage.
Nissan never really marketed the Titan properly. I don't think I've ever seen a TV commercial for the Titans. Not sure where they do any advertising at all. They should be running ads targeted right at the kind of people who liked the previous generation Tundras (like me). If I wasn't driving past a Nissan dealer every day, I may never have thought to look at a Titan. I bought a '23 Pro 4X and am happy with it, but I discovered the truck DESPITE a complete lack of marketing effort from Nissan.

Titan is designed in California, built in Mississippi, with engines built in Tennessee.
✅️ 🇺🇸
Agreed 100% making it 100% pure American made and pure American Muscle as well.
@dirtyharry72 I've bought my truck new and the motor (for what I've know) in the Titan is made in Tennessee and the whole truck is made in Canton Mississippi.
averaging 20mpg with my 2024 Titan SV 4x4!
I'm 17-21 with my Pro4x! Can't complain.
@@davec.3198 try 25. 25 is a cooler milage.
I am a *"**#Toyota_Tacoma** Fan Boy"* , but to be honest, the only car company that seems not to be having issues here in 2024 is *Nissan* . 🧐
I like the brand new style of the Tacomas and the Tundras.
if they had the old V6 in the 2024 Tacoma as an option with a new exterior style, I would buy one.
But *NOW* owners of the 2024 Tacomas are also having transmission problems. 🤦🏼
The marketing by Nissan was terrible. The truck is great
I bought a 2023 midnight sv and love it. Around town a full tank would go approximately 400 miles. Drove it to Cape Corral Florida from Bristol Tennessee on vacation and it would go approximately 500 miles on a full tank. Not sluggish when I needed the power either!!
@markskates7899 true
Until this year , Nissan never advertised their trucks.
Agreed 100% good thing I've found a Titan at a really good price.
A shame.
You're right they did not advertise this truck enough people told me they didn't even know they made a full size truck
I hear you brother, While majority of the Nissan cars are mostly garbage , the Nissan Titan, Frontier, and Armanda are definitely the best vehicles Nissan makes.
It is a damn good looking truck for sure
That would be my pick if I was shopping a half ton, hands down
Bought a brand new 2024 Pro4X last week. Love the no B.S. V8! Loaded with features that would cost me about $80k in a Tundra. With discounts and rebates I got mine for right at $50k.
I don’t know where you came up with $80,000 but my 2023 only cost 63,000 for a fully loaded 1794
@artemusburton4824 hope your engine don't die
@@ant208 it won’t that’s just your wish.
Bought my 3rd Nissan truck. Used 2023 Titan. I got 89 Hardbody to 2004 Titan to 2023 Titan. Few problems. Loyalty here!
Just bought a 2024 Pro4X and it’s a beast! On my third TItan👍🏼
Best truck out there hands down. Had three in the last 15 years. Not one problem in any of them. Just bought a Pro4X last year and its a beast.
I recommend a 5.7 Tundra if you want it to last a long time while very reliable.
@@fjcruising7121loved my 2007 Tundra, but not willing to pay the "Toyota Tax" on a used one. That's how I wound up with an Armada over a Sequoia when I went looking for a used family hauler.
I just picked up a 2024 Titan Pro4x in Baja Storm color. What a truck! Thats coming from a previous Chevy Guy.
I just bought a 2024 Bronze Edition Titan, love that beast! I had a 2007 Titan I kept for 13 years, I wish I never traded it a few years back.
THEY DISCONTINUED THE TITAN!?!
What we’re they thinking!?!
Yup, she gone!
because they only sold like 20k total in 2023
It wasn’t selling in the US. From a business view, they’re cutting their losses
The Nissans are a great value when buying 2-3 years old.
Unfortunately buying a 2-3 year old one means almost nothing…. They have to sell new to stick around.
@@BadoreksDailys he's talking about valve
Nissan has a history of mistakes:
Pull out of the van market, Amazon buys every van available 😂
Pulls out of full-size truck market, tundra goes V6 and loses the reliability.
Next they’ll stop making SUB’s and only make sedans.
They also are not coming out with a turbo v6 for the frontier to throw everything at Toyota while they are down
I swear their timing is just cursed man but it's ok...
Yup. I've never once seen a commercial for the Titan, even before the discontinued it. The other manufacturers market the crap out of their trucks.
Bought a 24 XD Titan to tow a new RV - absolutely love it. Tows like a dream. It's a shame that it's one of the last.
I bought a 23 Titan XD Pro4X last year and it’s been the best truck that I have owned.
Any issues with carbon build up on the intake valves?
It's the same truck anyway! It's built on the same frame and transmission! It just has a V8.
I was saving up for 1 (i am in high school) but now that they are discontinued I hope there are still low milageage used ones when I graduate highschool I love Chevy but the Titan & its reliability cant be beat.
I had a 2012 titan deal with 190,000 miles on it no issues I currently have a 2018 with 80,000 miles on it. No issues love the truck.
I did and I’m glad I did…
I have a 2018 Nissan Titan 85,000 miles. A joy to drive.
Bought a 23 Sv Three days ago. I love it so far. Its a Good looking truck
I picked up a 2021 Nissan titan XD platinum reserve with 22k miles for 39k
I think it was a fair price from private, but neither party took advantage of the other.
The biggest Titan model is the XD
I am on my third titan. I love this truck
I bought a pro4x today👍🏻
Still driving my 08 Titan LE 211000 miles and still moving with no major issues out of replacing my starter the first yr I got it
I think the lack of engine choices also hampered the sales.
Only thing Id change on this truck is the heavy steering. But, still would buy another over the competition.
I bought a 2017 in 2020. Best damn truck ive ever had!! Not one mechanical issue
A little change it would leave EVERY 1/2 ton in the dust. My wife had a 2017 SL it was perfect. Only reason we traded it in we were using it as a car and MPG was painful. Now my wife has a Pathfinder and I have a Frontier a perfect balance for us.
what would the support level be for a discontinued truck though?
I bought one in 2020 and love it!
I had a Denali, and at 69,000 miles it fell apart. The only reason I have not purchased a Nissan Titan, is because I have the Armada platinum. Absolutely bulletproof! The Titan has the 9 speed, so it should push 18 mpg.
The Titan is a great truck))))))))))))
My 2019 Titan is the best vehicle I've ever owned. Hope to drive it until the wheels fall off.
Happy owner of a '21 SV. Great truck, get one while you can . .
What year & which engine did you get in the Silverado? Some years im a HUGE Silverado fan and some I am absolutely not, just like anything else
They killed it prematurely. With the problems going on at Toyota, Nissan could have taken a lot of business from Toyota.
Hopefully, they see the Tundra problems and capitalize by continuing production. I wish an 8' bed was available again.
you keep saying price point.... however when i bought mine it was 15k less then the big 3 with same features for the most part.
Poor Marketing of the Titan as well
I have a 2023 titan and I love it I agree they should not discontinue it it’s a very great truck
I couldn’t agree more. Bought a 23 PRO 4X for 50k.
I just bought a 2017 with 80k miles for 18k USD. Still runs great! I think its worth it!
I bought a 2019 Titan new and traded after about 3 years as gasoline prices went up. No problems with the truck other than it’s a bit outdated design.
It’s a beautiful truck wish I could’ve bought two one for work and one for fun 😂
In a way, I needed this truck hanging around, for when my 2021 Tundra craps out in 20 years maybe. Then I would go to this, because the 2022 and above are garbage.
It’ll be back.
It is Amerikan as wienershnitzel rugby & empanadas oh and I play that song by the vapors called I’m turning Japanese I really think so
I bought a Titan new in 2008 for $18k, drive 100k miles, no issue, and trade it in for $8k. Bought another one for $24k new in 2018.
