I have the same. 2023. 12k 0 issues. It is a tank. Every Tundra owner drops a tear every time they see it hear the engine and realize they should have purchased a Titan.
I have a 2019 Titan. I had the dreaded cylinder 7 issue. But 10 days later... New small block and boom like new truck. No hassles or issues the dealer just gave me a loaner and called when it was ready. 5yr/100k warranty is a god send.
2023 XD pro4x owner for over a year now and the truck is the best I have owned. I have had RAM, Ford, Chevy and Toyota and by far the Titan is the best !
Mine is a 2022 PRO 4X and I had it for 20 months and zero problems. Sounds great, nice seats, music system and panoramic sunroof. Real V8 no turbo problems.
As a current Toyota owner & Lexus collector. I will take a Titan & Frontier over any Toyota junk. We also owned a brand new 2007 Xterra & 2009 Pathfinder. Both bought new from same Nissan dealer. Never gave us any issue other than routine Nissan maintenance.
I've owned six Toyotas in a row and wanted to add a truck as a second vehicle and purchased the Frontier Pro4X. I love the truck and have not had a single issue.
I have the 2023 Titan platinum reserve. Only 6900 miles zero problems so far . Tows a 34 foot ultra lite like a dream. In tow mode it drinks fuel like it’s going out of style but in tow mode the transmission will downshift really well. Save those brakes on the truck and the camper makes stopping a whole lot easier. I have been on two road trips pulling a trailer over 700 miles great little truck. Just wish the fuel tank was a bit larger. Pulling into a fuel center every 200 miles is kinda the down side. But at my age it is about the same distance before mother nature calls so that is probably a need Nissan was aware of . 😊
I have a 23 Platinum. Paid 62k new OTD. Tried everything prior to buying. 5 years/100k b-to-b did it. I keep my trucks forever so not worry about resale value. Love my truck. Thanks 4 vid
I bought a Titan new in 2005. 111K miles and $500 in repairs in 19 years. I am going to drive this truck until one of us dies. One of the best vehicles I have ever owned.
I visited several dealerships in 2018 and test drove a Ford 150, GMC Sierra 1500 and Ram. Few days later I decided to visit a Nissan dealership to test drive a Titan. Bought it that day! Still looks and runs like new.
I have this exact truck in a 2023. Same color, Bakflip. I installed Nismo exhaust , Z1 air intake system, J & L catch can. Sounds good and runs good. No issues at 12,500 miles.
I have a 2017 Titan SV The plastic you are talking about on the bumper still looks the same as the day I bought it. The bumper itself is steele. Don't worry about it! These trucks are tough as hell- u will see when you've owned it longer than 6 months
Solid review and yes the other manufactures are having way bigger issues than what you mentioned with your Titan. Titan is probably the most reliable 1/2 ton right now. I have a 13 with 130k. Tows often. It’s only had 2 issues worth mentioning in 10 years. The passenger side rear axle seal started leaking at 105,000 miles. Pretty easy and cheap fix if you can do it yourself. The starter did not fail but showed signs it was going to at 125,000 miles. Starter is under the manifold so pretty pricey if I were to take it to a shop but I did that myself. I really can’t complain about how it’s treated me. Titans since day 1 have been criminally underrated.
With these days market prices, this is a good deal. I honestly would not pay above $60K for a fully loaded truck, and to hear there are $70K - $120K trucks makes me wonder that we, the consumers, are the only ones to end it. Btw, I have a lot of respect for ppl who treat their dogs with care. Kudos for that!
I just got rid of my 2011 tundra and bought the exact truck as yours. Even color. So far I absolutely love it. Being a long time Toyota guy, I didn’t like the new tundra and the crappy v6. Mine is 2 weeks old and I’m not disappointed I made the change. Thanks for the video
I love the Frontier too! I think it is the best looking mid-size truck out there. I park next to one that's the same color as mine every saturday when i do my normal grocery shopping. Whoever the dude is, he is on the same schedule as me.
'23 Titan Pro 4X bought in September '23, traded an '18 F-150 FX4 5.0. Like the truck so far, getting 18 mpg combined with 7k on the OD. Alignment right out of the gate (steering wheel off center), transfer case actuator recall, auto tailgate lock not connected, then the the tailgate lock actuator needed replacing, the radio head/LCD needed replacing because of permanent imprints of the screen, so I put a glass screen protector on the new one. One of the few things I don't like as much as the F-150 is less room and storage in the back seat as the wheelbase is about 4" shorter. My dealership has a great service department which makes a huge difference. I'm going to make sure to adhere to the recommended service intervals to keep my 5 year/100,000 mile intact. I can afford to put the recommended premium gas and it does make a difference in power and smoothness. No leaks from my sunroof or rear window, I checked. If you want a longer wheelbase, longer bed and more towing I think a loaded XD would be the ticket. Nissan should keep making this truck, but the govt. CAFE regs are the problem.
I spent a lot of time researching a half ton pickup. At first I thought I wanted a Tundra TRD Pro, but got instant sticker shock. Then I looked at the GMC AT4 and the Chevy ZR2...again really expensive. Then looked at the F-150 Tremor and Ram Rebel. $$$$$ if I wanted to get the V8. Came across a few videos about the Titan and really dug in. All the features I wanted, without turbos, hybrids, auto-stop/start, cylinder deactivation stuff I didn't. Plus the price was great. Sent out half a dozen emails to dealers in a 100 mile radius asking for OTDs on specific Pro4x's on their respective lots. Heard back from a few, but not all. Went to one dealership on a Sunday to check out the truck in person. Liked it. Few weeks later the truck was still on the lot so I got pre-approved for a loan and went in for a test drive. I was not disappointed. Ended up getting it for $11,000 under MSRP ($65,160...the number is burned into my memory) and got a good deal on my '16 Wrangler. I was more pleased with this buying experience than any I've had in my lifetime. Best part, the truck is fantastic. Responsive, comfortable. I've only had it for a little over a week, so still in the honeymoon phase, but I'm pleased with my decision. It's my first Nissan. Thanks for putting together a solid, impartial review.
I had the same truck in 21. Had it for 2 years, not one problem. Rock solid, looked great, awsome engine, capable offroad. I would buy another in a second. Compared it to ford and ram. The nissan gave you so much more for the money. Plus they give discounts.
I've owned this truck for 3 years/42kmi and there are a few things I'll note...overall I very much like it. I've had zero real issues. It is my sales vehicle and I also do lots of outdoor stuff like towing a tractor. -He's right. The front bumper paint sucks. Totally sucks. I did a spray on matte finish on mine. Haven't looked back. -I don't mind the plastic tailgate at all. Doesn't bother me and I put everything from firewood to atvs...and the rear wheels are on the tailgate. No issues. -The weird downshift from 2 to 1 is a thing. Doesn't happen every time as the video indicated. Sometimes the trans doesn't shift up at the right time either. -The screen does scratch. -The seats are super comfy. I love it on long drives.
Great video. I used the same bakflip cover on my pro 4x that rendered the grab bar useless. I ended up going to the junk yard and found an extra rail off a wrecked titan. I cut it about 6 inches long and mounted it to my rail so that I the grab handle would work by extending around the cover. Tucks away nicely too... Eazy peazy!
I have a 2022 pro4x, bought used with 25000 miles. Now at 35000 and love it. I agree with almost everything you said. Where we differ is fuel economy. On the highway, mine gets 16.5 hand calculated. On 2 lane rural roads, about 13.5. I traded a '22 F150 with a bad 10 speed trans Ford wouldn't fix. While the Titan 9 speed is slightly quirky, it's light years better than that Ford 10 speed. The Titan seats are the best I've ever sat in. Power delivery, smoothness, and drivability from the 5.6 are outstanding. I put a 14-inch Magnaflow on mine, and it sounds phenomenal. The ride, for an off-road truck, is very good. My only other complaint is that the cruise control is overly aggressive. Overall, great trucks.
Hey man! I have the exact shift bump you mention. I've made a big stink about it with Nissan corporate and also waiting on the fix. I bought the XD version of your exact truck, same color. Everything you mention are 100% exactly on point.
I have the exact same titan but 2022...I agree plastics galore...but no regrets for the price 57k...old realiable v8...just get a catch can its DI.....
It's funny how a dual variable valve timing 4 valve per cylinder v8 is now the simpler design option. I remember when a pushrod carborated straight 6 was the reliable simple choice
Great review and details - thank you, sir. I found your video after I bought the truck, but it's nice to know what you know. Nissan should pay you to review and develop their products !!
Shopping for full size to replace my F150 and accommodate my wife and three children. Looking for reliability, decent off-road capability and good re-sale value. So, thanks for the in-depth video. Watched from start to finish 👍
I’ve owned my ‘21 Pro4X (non-XD) since new. Mine came loaded. The only options I didn’t go for the factory side steps (wanted aftermarket) and bed mounted light bar (ugly, and gets in the way of my ski rack and overlanding set up). At the time, MSRP was $62,000. I think it’s inched up a bit in the past couple of years. Due to post Covid supply chain issues, I was only able to get $4000 off of sticker price. And for that, I had to drive from Salt Lake City to Boise. I traded “down” from a ‘20 Ram 2500 Megacab Laramie Level II w/Cummins. While the Ram was a fantastic truck, I rarely miss it. I’m coming up on 50,000 miles. I’ve taken numerous trips in blizzards and deep snow. I’ve baja’d in the dessert. It’s been on some technical 4WD trails. And towed my 7,500 lb GVWR TT up steep mountain passes more than a few times. It does everything well. I installed the factory icon lift with some black rhino wheels and Falkein Wildleak AT3W tires. It’s got a handful of other mods that are both functional and nice looking. I get comments on how awesome it looks weekly. The only thing broken has to do with the soldered rear window defroster. I haven’t taken it in yet. I haven’t been in a big hurry because of the five year 100,000 mile warranty. My only complaint is gas mileage. But, all the other half ton trucks are going to be close once you put on a lift kit and 35 inch tires. That’s just how it is. I would recommend this truck to anybody. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I have no doubt that it will go many miles and last a long time.
@timweber5958 that's great Tim! And I hope you're named after Weber County. I lived in Ogden for years and miss Utah dearly. When I'm due for tires, I'll be getting Wildpeaks too.
Hi, I picked up the same truck in December but a pearl blue XD version, 2023 model. I don't think there are any differences to the 2024. Your review and fussiness are spot on. I have noticed all these items on mine and have the exact same experiences, I have noticed that the downshift issue rarely happens but when it does it's if I coast to a stop. If I brake to a stop it never happens to me or l probably don't notice it. I have over 18K miles on mine and just got back from a Montana trip, drove through Idaho and the speed limit is 85MPH, I usually drive slightly over the speed limit and I averaged just under 20MPG. I was not towing anything but the truck was loaded. I'm in agreement, the mileage on a truck this size with a NA V8 is actually not that bad. Now I have experienced the head unit lock up issue and have traced it to when I switch from Bluetooth to a wired Apple Carplay. If I need to charge my phone (occasionally the head unit doesn't make that switchover properly when I plug the phone into the USB port). If I remember to turn off the BT when I connect to the USB, this problem never happens. I will probably add a wireless charging pad to eliminate having to connect the phone to the USB all together. My Titan is replacing an '09 Frontier that has over 218K trouble free miles. I'm hoping to get the same level of reliability from the Titan. Since I'm close to retirement, if I do, this might well be the last truck I buy. This is an excellent review of a great truck that has just the right amount of technology for an excellent value. Hate to see it go but who knows if and when it might come back. Oh by the way if you want to sell your bed rail handle give me a shout out.
Thanks for the great comment Mario. Sounds like other than the head unit, we've had very similar experiences. I had a Subaru with freezing/disconnecting issues. There's so many factors these days...but your assumption about BT might be it. As for that bed handle, I'm going to hang onto it. I intend to find some sort of extension for it so it'd still fit on the rail under the tonneau cover. Just haven't gotten around to doing so yet. Thanks again...
I have a 2013 Titan and was considering a new one but I don't have a reason to make the upgrade. I like that you think about your dog when buying a truck. My dog sheds too but only 2 times a year-6 months in the spring and 6 months in the fall. I had my rear diff. fixed and it was about $2200 dollars. The main problem was getting it apart as rust made it into the axles and was preventing them from coming apart. I used to be a GMC "fanboy" but my Nissan was at least assembled in the states. I know most of the drive train was from Japan and it's not the same as one of the big 3 but it's by far the best truck I ever owned.
110k miles on my 2018 Titan Pro4x. I use mine for work constantly towing a 3000lb trailer (up to 7000lb when I’m moving material).Regular maintenance and I’ve had zero issues.
I love the Nissan Titan pro4 x...best American truck I ever owned..I owned every brand..but the Nissan Titan is the best truck made...I get 23 miles a gallon on the highway..the others don't..4 cylinder
Great video. I bought a used 2021 Titan XD Platinum Reserve and I’m enjoying it. I came out of a 2006 Titan with very few issues. One thing that drives me crazy is backing up and when you go forward, you have to hit the camera button to get the forward view. I also don’t like that the parking sensor goes on every time you’re backing up a trailer and then moving forward and backing up again, you have to turn it off each time. I’m glad to you noticed the front bumper being uneven. Like you, I can’t un-see that now. I’ve had a body seam leak issue that was repaired under warranty as well as a four-wheel-drive/ABS sensor issue. I don’t know about you, but the main reason I bought the truck was because of its five year/100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I have a feeling it will come in handy.
Had a 2021 Pro 4x, absolutely abused it, and took it on high-difficulty Jeep trails and Florida mud pits that it probably shouldn't be on, but it handled them with no problem. Unfortunately, it suffered a transmission failure a couple of months back, but since it was still in its warranty, the dealership swapped it for free.
I had a brand new ‘18 SV and unfortunately I traded it in for a midsize pickup. The Titan was just too big for my needs. I miss the Titan immensely. Great truck, awesome power and comfort. Sad to see the Titan discontinued
Glad to hear. I really like these trucks for their simplicity and perceived quality. My 22 XD Pr has been great besides the faulty steering box which was warrantied.
That is great to hear. Makes me feel a bit better about the 24 I just purchased. Never owned a Nissan but only Toyotas, but I just cannot get behind that TTV6. Hoping this year lasts a long time with minimal issues.
@@Monacheman-4x4 IMHO, this is the best truck money can buy. If you have any problems just look on TH-cam and you can fix it yourself and save a ton of money. I have.
21’ Titan Pro4x, 36000 miles on it in a bit over two years. Two issues I’ve had. The lurching when coming to a stop transmission early on, but they reprogrammed the transmission, 90% resolved it. At 30000 they had to replace throttle body & gasket. That’s it, short list. Drives better than any of the other current 1/2tons. I get 20-21mpg highway. Rural/in town 16ish. I’d definitely buy another one. And, my dogs also like it a lot too.
I bought my 23 Nissan Titan p4x for 58k OTD in 10/23. The truck has not had any issues as I now have 15k miles on it. So far I have added the factory ICON 3" lift which makes the truck look better but so much smoother on/off-road. I live in the Northern NV where I off road pretty regularly and people are shocked at how well it does considering its a "Nissan" but it has a 56:1 low range transfer case ,factory locking rear differential and factory 33's these are far superior options to the last gen Tundra . I highly recommended buying this tank of a truck and putting on the ICON lift kit to make it ride like firm caddy.
I have a 2017 Texas Titan edition, lifted 3 inches with nitto ridge grapplers. Have had zero mechanical issues, only things that have been changed is the battery (custom audio) and the struts / shocks and tires (cost of a lift). I’m at 100k now.
Great Video. I used to have a 2018 Frontier Pro-4x and I loved it. The upgraded JBL audio in it was really nice. I didn't care for the sub under the back seat because I liked the storage more personally. It was a great truck but I felt the same with the transmission and it also had a dead spot in the gas pedal. You'll be driving and hit like 30mph and then no power at all. Had to smash the pedal to the floor for it to figure itself back out again and I did not like that at all. The hill descent was really nice offroading. Something to mention because some people might not know but the locker can only be used when in 4Lo but not in 4Hi or 2Hi. Never towed with it personally since I didn't have the hitch receiver. I don't tow with the bumper. Back when I got it, I got it used from the dealer after a lease with only 20k miles on it and got it for $22k after dropping it from $27k the dealer was asking for it. No sunroof either but I don't like sunroofs so that was a plus to me.
My family has owned 3 Nissan cars (basic affordable cars), and all of theme have left us with good memories and impressions. I hope to one day own a Nissan truck, some people may find the brand to be boring, but I like their ideas, simple reliable and affordable will always be good.
I gave up on Toyota after the frame rust fiasco. The tundras have head gasket issues, the tacomas pre 2020 are decent now the frame rust issue has been fixed ( hopefully) but Nissan products now adorn my driveway. So far so good, the oldest is a Nissan frontier with over 130,000 miles and not one issue. Hopefully they all continue to hold up well, but I’ve been impressed thus far.
I'm glad you mentioned the shifting to 1st during a complete stop. My Pro4x I got in May does the same thing. It feels like someone bumped you at crawling speed.
Everything sounds great except this. I could see this really annoying the heck out of me. Any chance they will come out with a fix? 2022 and 2023 same issue?
@@maafa21MustSee It's not often, mostly only happens if you're braking quickly. It's kinda like that feeling when you brake quickly and the car leans forward then quickly backward, but on a larger scale being a larger vehicle. In my case, I just brake a little softer when I can so the brakes don't act all dramatic.
That plastic is stronger and safer than sheet metal . The bumper is designed to be energy absorbing. You could put that same screwdriver through the sheet metal on my old 2013 f150 before you can pierce that abs plastic on the tailgate of the titan. Great truck I have the same truck in blue. I paid $49k but I don’t have leather and sunroof
This was a great review, with a lot of info, and it answered questions that I had about the Titan. Keep the videos coming about the truck and how it’s doing as time passes. 👍
Glad you like the truck! I'm on my 3rd one! It's also worth noting that your truck is missing the three features that are available on the Titan that no other half-ton truck has... 1: Bed floor mounted rails and sliding clamps (great for tying things down, but also for holding large objects in place that you don't want sliding around in the bed) 2: Rear seat infotainment system (absolutely priceless if you have kids. Long trips with the kids are much easier than my old Titan which don't have them) 3: Titan boxes (great extra storage when you want it, and removable when you need the extra bed space!) My truck has all three of these and it is going to make it incredibly difficult to find a new truck when it comes time to find another truck again! That really is the best argument for the Titan, besides the warranty, is the value, practicality, and useability that the Titan offers which no other truck on the market can match.
@dave3682 thanks Dave. I wouldn't have use for the boxes or rear entertainment. I was told they discontinued the bed floor rails in 2021. Would have definitely preferred those.
@@videozar_ I'm pretty sure you're right about the bed rails. My Titan XD is a '21, so would definitely make sense. I'm sure the covid supply chain issues probably killed them. As for the Titan boxes, I keep my tow straps, hitches, jumper cables, cleats, and a snow brush in them. all noisy and/or dirty stuff that I'd rather not keep in the cab.
Also my fuel calculator reads about a mile per gallon high compared to using and filling the tank for actual mileage. The best I have done on an actual calculation is 20.5 MPG.
I have a 2010 Tundra and bought a fully loaded 21 Titan P4X. I ended up selling the Titan after a few months. The back doors not opening far drove me nuts with kids and dogs and trying to put groceries, luggage, etc. It also didn’t get near the stated gas mileage. Basically the same as my Tundra, maybe 0.5 mpg better after a couple thousand miles of manual calcs. I did like the ventilated seats, 360 camera, bed lights, and infotainment system. If I didn’t still have a reliable truck for comparison, I probably would have kept it, but I kind of realized I prefer utility over fancy.
Price sounds good. I paid 57k sticker last year for my fully loaded 23 prx XD. I have no complaints. I did upgrade the suspension to ICON stage 3. And there is metal under the rear bumper cover and under the plastic on the tailgate.
Own a 21 SV with the option packages. Over 60,000 miles now with only routine oil changes and tire rotations. Been a great truck. I want to get another Titan this year before they are all sold. Discontinued doesn't bother me that much since i know since having one already that im not too concerned plus having the 5yr 100,000 mile warranty on it. Just waiting for another good deal. Had 0% 84 months on the last one. Shooting for another end of the year kinda deal hopefully. Enjoy the rig. 🙏
Beautiful truck! I think that the Pro4X is the best looking truck on the road. I also live in the Nashville area and purchased a Frontier in 2019 and love it, over 82,000 trouble free miles. I’m seriously looking at the Titan and moving up to full size. It’s a shame that Nissan didn’t market this truck better and will stop making them. Like I tell everyone, go to any dealers website, pick out a pickup truck then go to the specs on it and you will see that the Titan is rated to tow more than the Ford or Chevy in the same configuration; a 4 door 4 wheel drive model.
I have a 2023 love it I have 29k on it no problems at all I have had ford a ram and this truck has been the best for me I say go test drive one you will see what I am saying
Have had my 2018 Pro4X since April of 2018...Not a single issue. Love the thing. Can't believe they aren't more popular. Such a great truck. Truck moved me and everything I own in a Uhaul trailer from STL back to E TN. Could barely tell I had anything behind me. Would buy mine over, and over again. I'm tempted to go check out a 2024 with the 0%-60m offer right now....but yeah. If they were smart, they'd atleast give it another year or two. Especially with the stumbles Toyota has made with the new Tundra/Tacomas. All that, and it's made in the USA. TN to be exact, the best state there is. :) Cheers.
This truck gets so much hate for absolutely no reason. Especially the XD trim (which I’d get for the extra payload and 6.5 bed). Huge backseat, dual pano sunroof, LOCKING REAR DIFF, increased payload over basic half tons (XD) all the creature comforts you need, comfortable seats, reliable v8, and $10k off msrp!!!! Plus I think they offer a crazy factory warranty like 100k miles or something. It’s a great buy! Every other brand’s comparable trim is easily $10-$20k more. I’ll highly consider the XD pro 4x as my next truck. Maybe a slightly used 2024 in a year or two.
I have a 24 Sv I picked up in March and so far so good. Thanks for mentioning the Transmission stopping thing. I thought it was just mine, I explained it to the Tech but maybe I described it wrong and when they test drove it, didn’t happen. Other items I don’t like, seat belt (digs into your neck), I bought seatbelt extenders and that helps. Also the angle of the radio, if the sun is high, it can block out the screen. Overall for the price, can’t complain. On resale, who knows what the future hold with truck prices out of control and so many new engines out there with potential problems. Maybe these take an upswing at some point. Not worried though, I’ll have mine for 10 years plus God willing.
Bought my 24 Titan XD Plat last weekend. It drives and handles very closely to my wife's '17 Armada, which has 130K miles with only the fuel pump and the brake/start sensor replaced. Definitely calmed my fears about buying the Titan.
Fantastic review of both the Pros & Cons of the Titan!! Great job Sir! This truck is one of the best trucks ever made and very highly underrated. I'm very unhappy to learn Nissan is dropping this truck in 2024. It's truly the last of the breed. I will not touch a Turbo - "anything" with a 20ft pole. Long live a simple V8 Truck with all the simple and easy interior bits. Nissan is really missing the boat (car) on their decision to cancel this. BTW, Love your truck!! Great color and congrats on not falling for the Toyota crap (among others!) that has been coming out. Excellent choice. 👍
Thanks so much John! I really appreciate the kind words. I'm definitely glad to have this truck. Who knows, maybe it will be collectible in the future?
I have the Titan’s little brother - a ‘23 Frontier Pro4X. Truck has been wonderful. I wanted a Titan but they’re damn near impossible to find. I test drove all the competition and none came close to the Frontier.
First of, congrats on your new truck! I hope you have many miles of happy motoring. Just one point of clarification…. there is a far better back seat floor arrangement in the F150. My back seats fold up to reveal a deeper and completely flat floor space with no awkward platform.
@cwqrpportable thanks! And i like the F150 load floor alot. But prefer the Titan because it includes storage under the platform. F150 is still great though!
I have. the same truck and color in 2021 model. Love the color, the rode is great, motor is amazing. Nissan went cheap on some of the interior pieces I to covered the info screen soon as I bought it because of the issues with it, No problem with screen cover. I had a vibration noise inside the left driver side pillar to roof line. Dealership fixed that problem solved but it was super annoying. The front grill is cheaply painted plastic and it chips bad by rocks. Never had one do it that easily. Have a 2014 ford fx4 that still has none to this day. DOnt like the opening of doors was they dont fully open to allow better angles into the truck or ,loading stuff. Hate the steering, its very heavy especially parking the truck So if you dont like the old style heavy steering dont buy it. Seats. are great, sound system is good, sunroof is great and no leaks so far. I have added the front grill markers lights(some say raptor lights) and changed the fog lights to amber to match. Great looking truck and reliable for the money. The V8 is great to have in traffic as it can really move in and out if needed. Have 35K now and hope to get many more without any major issues but the warranty is great and ical dealer has been great to fix issues. Will I buy another not sure yet but it's a great truck.
I had the rear window leak. It was a very small crack in one of the alignment pegs that keep the window in the correct position. The dealership did fix it under warranty, but unfortunately, they caused other damage to my interior in the process. Specifically, they put creases in the headliner and permanent impressions in the leather seat. Since dealers notoriously suck at working on interiors, I opted to not have those issues fixed because they would undoubtedly cause more damage trying to fix them. So the dealer agreed to give me the 5-year maintenance plan in exchange.
Thanks for sharing your review. I never thought I would buy one. But with zero percent financing, lots of money off, and they seem reliable. I am thinking about buying one. I usually buy Toyota and Lexus, but lots of issues with the new Toyota trucks.
i've always been a toyota and honda guy too. but so far, this truck has been perfect for me. 9 months now. got a big 2-week camping trip coming up where i'll be offroading a lot and doing some work with it. if it passes that test then i'll be even happier.
With all the problems from Toyota trucks now, Nissan should keep making the Titan. They would will definitely get a boost in sales.
I hope they continue! I love my truck!
I totally agree!
they should make a updated version but keep the engine so tehre no new model issues
@@gregducati999 Exactly.
@@gregducati999 I love the Ford Raptor but ever since I got my Pro-4X, I don't know if the Raptor look that much better than the Titan.
I have the same. 2023. 12k 0 issues. It is a tank. Every Tundra owner drops a tear every time they see it hear the engine and realize they should have purchased a Titan.
The new Tundra engine is junk.
I have a 2019 Titan. I had the dreaded cylinder 7 issue. But 10 days later... New small block and boom like new truck. No hassles or issues the dealer just gave me a loaner and called when it was ready. 5yr/100k warranty is a god send.
I had a 2011 tundra that i had for over a decade..sold it for a 23 tundra. I am now in a 21 Titan and I am happy again.

2023 pro4x owner here for over a year, and the truck has been fantastic, with zero issues so far. Great content 👌
That's great to hear! Glad its been well for you too and appreciate you checking my video.

I had a 2017 and now a 2023. Zero issues. It's what I want in a truck.
I have this exact truck in a 2023. Same color, Bakflip. I installed Nismo exhaust , Z1 air intake system, J & L catch can. Sounds good and runs good. No issues at 12,500 miles.
I installed the J&L catch can also, damn nice can, well priced, Quality and it's easy to install and service.
I have a 2017 Titan SV
The plastic you are talking about on the bumper still looks the same as the day I bought it. The bumper itself is steele. Don't worry about it!
These trucks are tough as hell- u will see when you've owned it longer than 6 months
Nissan, do not stop making these... trust me.
20:04 TY for being candid. Some people would have been embarrassed to show that uneven front end gap.

Thanks to your video. I bought myself a Titan . I got a brand new 2024 Nissan Titan Pro 4XXD and Baja storm and I love it.
Right on! Congrats!!!
Congratulations!
I purchased a white one about 2.5 months ago
What made you get rid of it?
@@AB-coyote the lease ended and we needed a 3 row because of an extra kid. Otherwise I would have bought out the lease.

Eazy peazy!
Most underrated truck on the market. Rock solid, reliable and high quality materials. I love my 2023 platinum.

One of the best 2024 Titan tour videos I've seen, thanks for posting.

Wow...23 mpg best I have achieved is 21.5 mpg.
Excellent real world review.

Not the mention the last gen Tundra was C Channel frame compared to the titan fully boxed frame.
Did the dealership install the lift when you bought it?

It feels like someone bumped you at crawling speed.
that's exactly how it feels. doesn't do it when in tow mode just normal. gets annoying.
Everything sounds great except this. I could see this really annoying the heck out of me. Any chance they will come out with a fix? 2022 and 2023 same issue?
@@maafa21MustSee It's not often, mostly only happens if you're braking quickly. That plastic is stronger and safer than sheet metal . The bumper is designed to be energy absorbing. You could put that same screwdriver through the sheet metal on my old 2013 f150 before you can pierce that abs plastic on the tailgate of the titan. Great truck I have the same truck in blue. Yes...its the Titan Lurch! I test drove 2 titans and they both did it..I like for the truck to come to a stop when I put the brake on
My lurch (2013 model) was solved by adding more trans fluid. It was a bit low. Check yours
Glad you like the truck! I'm on my 3rd one!
It's also worth noting that your truck is missing the three features that are available on the Titan that no other half-ton truck has...
1: Bed floor mounted rails and sliding clamps (great for tying things down, but also for holding large objects in place that you don't want sliding around in the bed)
2: Rear seat infotainment system (absolutely priceless if you have kids. Long trips with the kids are much easier than my old Titan which don't have them)
3: Titan boxes (great extra storage when you want it, and removable when you need the extra bed space!)
My truck has all three of these and it is going to make it incredibly difficult to find a new truck when it comes time to find another truck again!
I researched and purchased a 2024 titan pro4x love it

After buying my 2020 titan I don't think I'll own another brand. It's by far the best truck I've owned or driven.
Great review. You did a great job giving a complete overview of the features of this truck I am considering buying due to its no nonsense design.
Thanks Paul!
We have a bunch of these as work trucks for the landscape company. They’ve all been pretty solid.
Also my fuel calculator reads about a mile per gallon high compared to using and filling the tank for actual mileage. The best I have done on an actual calculation is 20.5 MPG.
That sounds about right. 20.5 is still very good for a traditional V8 truck this size.
I think they're doing 0% on 36 months now. I hope we get back to the days of 0% at any length.
Thanks for the review
:) Cheers.
@@J.Wick. that makes me happy
Great review! I'll never understand why manufacturers make the head units angled. All that does is bring glare to the screen.
@doyouluvit i had a Subaru with a little roof over it to keep the glare off. Not sure why that isn't standard practice
I have a 19 P4X, loaded, 60K miles, purchased new, been flawless
That's what I like to hear, Hector!
@@Educatedink right on!
I own a 17 PR. And I love it does everything I need and more. Extremely reliable and never had any issues
@@videozar_ I didn’t know that about the storage…. Sounds like it’s working for you 👍
I have. the same truck and color in 2021 model.
@Marktec wow. That turned into a real mess. But glad the dealer compensated you at least.
Should you buy it over a flimsy V6 Tundra? Yeah absolutely.
That kick panel is kinda nice, it could be sacrificial and can be replaced when it starts getting beat up.
Found a 2020 this past December 2023. 6k miles on it. Thankful for old dudes who don’t drive much. PRO4X fully loaded.
