  • Nissan is stopping production of its beloved titan. It is a VA truck that has been out for many years that people do like but unfortunately Nissan is stopping production. The sales have been rough throughout the years and it’s always been a challenge for Nissan to get its
     market share
     leave a comment. Let me know your opinion on the Nissan Titan.

      I own a 2007 Titan that I purchased in 06 for 44,000. It's at 96,000 miles, and only 2 issues shifter linkage bushing (3.50), and overfill hose going to the gas tank was leaking. I fixed it with a 3/8 hose and 2 clamps. Never changed the belts and never changed the coolant. This truck has been good to me. The V8 engine is very strong and reliable. The truck runs like a race car. I can outrun most cars on the road. I replaced the factory radio, but the Bose speaker still sounds good.
      I was going to trade it for a newer model, but the new looking Titans don't have a decent size back window, and the front door/window reminds me of a Ford.
      I would love to get a Titan in the future, maybe if the focus on making something different and special. Like a wider axle or a dully. Call it a Nissan Titan HardBody or a Titan Knock. Focus on luxury and premium to justify what we are paying for. And just maybe it will last another 20 years.

    In SW FL they are knocking off $20k on many of the Titans, so there are deals to be had. Nissan should have produced a very basic stock Titan (w/V8) and sold it for $28 - $30k they would have sold the crap out of those trucks. Nissan does not have the overhead as the big 3 (labor) and they MISSED a killer sales opportunity. Titans are very under appreciated and are great truck. Now all the mrg's want to do is push a V6 or V4 w/turbo - that is a BIG FAIL!!

      I know some Nissan dealerships are definitely giving huge discounts

    • @thomascrompton7775
      @thomascrompton7775 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @WheelsandWallets problem is the vehicle doesn't have the refined feel of the big 3. I'm not saying it's a bad truck but a 2025 ram limited can be had for 70000. No way the nissan should be same price. Hard steering, bumpy ride, inferior interior material. It should have been priced 5 to 7 grand naturally below other trucks. Add to that it's discontinued no reason they should be givingv15000 off. This is the reason there being discontinued in 1st place overprices

    100k mile warranty!!
    I have the 2nd gen xterra which lasts and last and last forever, had the 22 frontier 4x4, nice small truck, leased a Nissan Ariya EV currently, and when my lease is up, hopefully going into a Nissan Titan.
    I am not a loyal car guy by any means, but their trucks never break, have a great warranty, and the newer titans have plenty of enough tech to make me happy, and can tow my 7k trailer without breaking a sweat and no silly turbo's, just a beefy truck.
    They're not the most tech updated cars, but the Ariya EV is so much tech with the 12.3" screens, it's a distraction trying to adjust the heat than ever before, plain dangerous.

      @@scottmendoza8989 Yes, sort of. Their transmissions have issues on some of them. The transmission is also used in the Frontier and may be too small for the Titan. I test drove 3 used Titans and they all had the same issue. They were all 22 and 23s. Everytime Im slowing down to almost a complete stop while slightly braking, the car lunged fowards. It was def a trans issue confirmed by the salesman and tech. Theyre also prone to leaky sunroofs etc. Engine is super solid though. I ended up getting a brand new 24 Frontier over a used Titan.

    It has an odd-looking design. Plus Nissans don't have good resale value.

      Buying any vehicle for the “resale value” is flawed logic. They are all depreciating assets.
