Ram Truck Seat Belt Chime and Auto Park Delete Bypass 1500 2500 3500

One of the many things that annoy me with the truck. This is especially annoying if you use your truck around the farm, land, or back up trailers in tricky places that require you to hang out the door!!!
520 Ohm resistor did the trick!
This removes the chime when your seat belt is off and it allows the driver to drive (forward and backward) with the door open, seat belt off, and foot completely off the brake pedal.

Why did you add a resistor instead of just connecting the two wires?

It’s not a simple contact switch. It’s more likely a reed switch.

More importantly...why did you cut an original connector when you could have disconnected the connectors and back-pinned the resistor.

The camera was recording from the back seat looking forward. Not from the passenger side 🤦‍♂️
