- In diesem Video sehen wir einen Trick, wie man ganz schnell den Keilriemen entspannt.🔩🔧⚙️
Ein Keilriemen ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Antriebssystems eines PKW und wird verwendet, um verschiedene Nebenaggregate wie Lichtmaschine, Wasserpumpe, Servolenkung und Klimakompressor anzutreiben.
Funktionsweise:
Der Keilriemen verläuft über mehrere Riemenscheiben, die an den Aggregaten befestigt sind. Der Motor dreht die Kurbelwellenriemenscheibe, die den Keilriemen antreibt. Durch die Keilform passt sich der Riemen in die Riemenscheiben, was die Reibung erhöht und die Übertragung der Motorkraft auf die Nebenaggregate effizient macht.
Vorteile:
Einfache Konstruktion: Keilriemen sind einfach aufgebaut und leicht zu installieren.
Kostengünstig: Sie sind günstiger als viele andere Antriebssysteme.
Effiziente Kraftübertragung: Die Keilform sorgt für eine hohe Reibung und effiziente Kraftübertragung.
Flexibilität: Sie können mehrere Aggregate gleichzeitig antreiben, was den Motorraum vereinfacht.
Leise: Keilriemen laufen relativ geräuscharm, was den Fahrkomfort erhöht.
Nachteile:
Verschleiß: Keilriemen nutzen sich mit der Zeit ab und müssen regelmäßig überprüft und ersetzt werden.
Spannungskontrolle: Die Riemenspannung muss korrekt eingestellt werden, um ein Durchrutschen oder übermäßigen Verschleiß zu vermeiden.

First of all, I've been a mechanic for almost 20 years and I can tell you very few belts are this easy for the most part they are much harder Very few actually have that built in retainer pin hole.
Most vehicles I’ve come across nowadays have retaining pin holes for the tensioner. But I do agree with your other statement of belts typically being more difficult than this, but that’s usually to do with space and the tensioner being in some idiotic place where only the smallest tool you’ve got will fit onto it

I am lucky to get like 80 bucks in labor for a belt and they almost never have a way to stick a pin through them to hold the tension

While you are saving money changing your drivebelt, enlighten me on why the belt failed? Is the spring tension strong enough on the tensioner? Are the pulleys in good condition? Is the alternator clutch ok?
So, when your new belt fails prematurely, bring it to me, a professional mechanic, and I will do the job properly the second time.
@@timblackburne77it might have been about 75,000 mi in time to change it. If you're worried that a TH-cam video is going to steal money out of your own pocket as a mechanic then you're a bad mechanic. Encouraging people to do their own routine maintenance and repairs is not a bad thing.

@@timblackburne77I do all my own work and you're dead right bro. There's always a reason they fail. Alternators, water pumps, tensioners the hardest one I had to figure out. Turned out to be a rat went through the belt and it's bones had scored the new tension pulley surface. That one had me really stumped for hours. But if the average person finds this video useful for changing their own belt. They really need professional help. Because no way they can diagnose or change out any of those parts. They'd be guessing at best.
Guess that's 1 way to do it. Not much room to get the bar on it a lot of times. Whatever works. Thanks for the tip!
lol I have all the room in the world on my ram 1500. I got the 3.6L V6 and the engine bay is built for a V8. Got my belt replaced in 10 mins

The design service life of a car can be more than ten years or even more.
Imagine how much money they could have made selling services during that time?

Now ask him how long it takes and costs to replace the tensioner when it goes. Used to tension with 1 bolt on the alternator leaning over the bonnet. Don't most modern cars have a series of plastic covers to remove underneath and isn't this on a car lift? Got one in your garage? Probably impossible to get at it from the top.

i believe the 6.0 diesel has the same thing we changed an alternator on one and a guy standing there told us about the trick. so you don’t lose your pattern on the serpentine belt.

The bolt on the spring loaded tensioner is for that. no gloves needed, just a double ended ring spanner for leverage

Mine has the pin hole but (1) access to it is near impossible. (2) the tension is way too hard to move like this. (3) the pin does not leave enough slack to fit a new belt.
it’s much easier to use a long wrench on the tensioner bolt. Don’t faff with the pin.

IT exists Special Equipment u have to use exact Newtonmeter or use Feeling. This was ist wrong. Because some Sorte of Motors are Strange . Specials V6 Japan Motors have some anty Vibration stuff

I worked in a gas station in the 70's. I used to change V belts with a screwdriver and reinstalle the new one by hand.

That is great if you have a belt to pull on. Most people wait until the belt is broken. So show how to do it when there is no belt.
А еще лучше на продольниках. Ломиком отжал и вытащил ремень. За 2 минуты так поменял, больше времени вспоминал как он должен стоять

These belts are magic in that they replaced the multiple of belts you needed to run by the just one belt + their inner multi V grooves, that said, if you lost it then all stops!
