Skirt makes sure your nozzel is clean. The pre extruded filament wipes off during this stage

Great video!! This is helping me understand how to adjust my settings depending on the filament I use!!! Extra note (you probably already know this by now) if your using OBS to record this, if you want it to capture the popups you have to change to a screen capture (select the monitor) OBS considers popups in programs like this a separate instance than the actual program. (Just in case you didn't already know by now) 😅

i dont need further adhesion most of the time, and i user skirt just so the tip primes the filament before the print and most importantly to see if my tip is to high or to low against the bed. If is to low the 2 -3 skirt layer get squished to much onto the bed, if is to high the layers (3 skirt wall lines) dont toutch each other and there is space between them and get separated. Using skirt i can ajust the bed if needed on the go. If All is good the 3 kirt layer lines shoud toutch eachother forming one wide line. For bigget prints that dont have a wide bottom i use brimm

I would love it if this had bookmarks so I could go to a specific explanation without scrolling the entire video. But thanks for the vid. I bookmarked it.

Hi! I have the problem that the yellow lines are suposed to be hollow and I can't edit them out. For example, I can't select the inside of a car wheel to be hollow. It's filled with the yellow lines and I can't find anywhere how to remove it. Please help, thanks!

Hi Carlitos, have you tried reducing your infill to 0%?
