You're the first person to talk about the orientation of the AC's with no weapons. Also if you listen carefully before the last scene it seems like the white AC hears an overboost and that gets his attention.
I'm expecting the option to be either/or for back weapons vs. spare handhelds. Definitely wanna see whatever that scattering bomb thrower is on the quadruped though.
It really seems to me that there's going to be an option for back mounted weapons like older generations AND back mounted hangar units, which I'd be pretty stoked about because it would just add even more customization. Being able to sacrifice one of your back slots which could be used for a cannon or chaingun in exchange for an extra rifle after your main one runs out would be a pretty cool decision to make, especially if there's also still in-core hangar slots for hand guns.
The hanger units in Gen-4 would let you hold SIX weapons not counting the shoulder units, in Gen-4 it was also based on the type of Legs you used, if you used heavy tank legs then it would allow you to hold the heavier hand weapons like gatling guns or grenade rifles.
For the ACs on the hangar with the red Light, it is suggested that it might be the energy source of the machine. This special and unnic resource thats is only found in Rubicon III. I just hope this is not a Nine Ball reference wit the multiple Nineball of MoA.
15:49 You can see him activate that Left back unit (Missiles or Rockets maybe) and the Right wepon switches From is showing us both back weapons and AC5 back hangars weapons will be a thing
I'm hoping for the same. Just making it a normal ability to take a hand weapon in one of your back slots to swap in and out for example, would be great to have. A sort of 'back hangar' that could hold multiple hand weapons in one slot would be a neat option for heavier builds.
jammer type cores?, who knows, th reddit community has been doing some speculative theory crafting, but what came out was that the hybrid system might be based on core types, kinda like how 3rd gen had hanger types, overboost types and exceed orbit types, and perhaps extension units are bit trimed down but still present so will overboost be a thing if not what would be the core options
i think the for the back weapon for AC6 we can determine whether we want back-mounted weapon or hangar (just one at a slot), a total of two slot on the back
this will mean that we will hv less weapon loadout compared to past AC games when on a mission, but something in the trailer makes me think, what if we can salvage weapons from surrounding and replace our out of ammo weapons?
If my guess is right, the ORCA ending in Armored Core 4 Answer where humanity left earth to the distant stars is the canon end, and these humans returned in 5 Verdict day as these AI constructs that 'ascended humanity.' Armored Core 6 could be the game that bridges these two generations.
The quad's back equipment you mentioned is actually the shield, you see it deploy before the missiles strike.

The presence of primal armor makes me think the omnidirectional attack was assault armor.

I agree ..... that'll open up options for so many combos

Its never too late for armoured core content
Never stop! AC is forever

GIANT SPAS-12! GIANT SPAS-12!
I would like to see your thoughts on the new trailer whenever you have the time. I appreciate the niche content.
I got plenty of juicy tidbits for the AC verterans. Please be patient as I put the vid together.
Awesome video loved seeing you dissect the trailer
Glad you liked it! Took a lot longer than I thought to make.
I think we can have both hangar and back weapon at the same time.
I certainly hope so. I love my cannons

@@breaklpoint1008 This would make me a very happy camper

worthing noting on the pile driver AC, it's back and hand unit are on the same side and being used together.
Fantastic video, I never played the older AC games, so I needed a LOT of context which you provided. I am really looking forward to this game.
Thank you - I try my best to present things with context whenever possible. Not always easy. though haha
@@A-0602 You are a true scholar, I hope to see more or your content when more is revealed of AC6.
@@edgarapocal Thanks for the compliment. I'll do my best when she finally drops.
1997 the year I became a game Mcha fan. Before that it was Gundam and Eva.
I got hooked early on Power Rangers, but every other mecha grabbed my attention
@@A-0602 Go Go Power Rangers! crap I forgot I watched that first.
I'm looking forward to Once and Always b/c nostalgia.
It does seem to be hybrid in the last shot with the biped the left side missile unit unfolded with the hangar weapon switch
I never realized that AC/mt attached to a tank could be advanced form of vanguard if it turns out to be true you definitely get the credit for me

I wish that hanger unit is a back weapon slot part. So we can choose to have 1 extra full size weapon or have 2 back weapon

Or it could just be the carrier that the AC is deployed from.
to me it looks like 6 weapons slots instead of 4, arm, back. and reserves?
Does anyone else wish that we had a fan game to pass the time?
None that are finished, but:
HAMMER on itchio
Project Six on Booth
MachineClad on Booth
Hyped for this game
Good video
Isn't the emp you mention more reminiscent of assault armor from ac 4a?
Will they sell with a big clunky cockpit controller?

I hope that stupid jump/glide and scan & combat modes dont come back that shit was garbage and what killed ac:V so fast.
i aint even know shit about ac you sound cool tho, subscribe:)
Never thought I'd get complimented on my voice - but then again, I don't think anyone likes the sound of their own voice.
I believe the SFX is actually practical now instead of taken from sound packs.
