Schneider Corp: "The best defense is to not get hit at all!" Arquebus ADD, Melinite, and Dafeng: "...we thought the phrase ended with "-a good offense-"" Schneider Corp: "Shhhhhh"
Schneider engineers: "We made the legs be arms but as wings" Arquebus: "Absolutely not. Have you maybe thought of making the arms... you know, just be arms?"
Love the Lore as always. One thing I realized in their parts is they have a fun naming convention. The AC parts and weapons they produce are named after birds. Nahctreiher: black crowned heron Kasuar: Cassowary Wuerger: Shrike Fasan: Pheaseant Kranich: Crane Eule: Owl Lammergeier: Bearded Vulture I love these little details and fun things Fromsoft does
I believe that if there is a sequel, schnieder might play a much larger role. The idea of the legs as wings feels like a detail with to much creative possibility for fromsoft to just leave.
The Kasuar head intrigues me. My headcanon: it was made from Schnieder/Arquebus' research on HAL-826, resulting in an amalgamation of White Glint & NWGIX heads
Thanks for adding Schneider lore to the books. Not much to work with in terms of meat on the bones but I guess that's where speculation is born and used to entertain us until dessert arrives at the table. ^_^
Your pronunciation of the German part and frame names is very funny but the way you say Schneider in the intro is pretty much perfect. It's always nice to see German words in a foreign game (although I guess it is likelier to see it in Japanese games, because they seem to really like the language.) It's cool that they were going with a bird motive when naming the parts, fitting with the air mobility focus and alluding to Ravens.
Ah well i will take my one win ha ha. Its true from does like thier names from other countries and i think it helps make a game world feel more alive as not everyone is Rubicon 3 will speak the same language.
I'm a little late to the show but great post! I really appreciate your attention to the intricate details and the minutiae of whatever topic you're discussing, in this case Schneider. You highlighted a nice correlation between Schneider and Zeo Matrix of Mars, something I hadn't thought about. Again, great post.
Thank you shok and it was just something i recalled from the history of ac2 and i thought the two would make a nice theory idea of what schneider may become.
I believe i talk about flatwell here 2:29 going into his role with Schneider and how with this connection he brought rusty into the companies head hunting program. He did not really have much to do with any of Schneider's other ac's as far as we have seen so far.
Schneider is the goat of companies, I love their products in all categories. Btw didn't they have something to do with the Alba AC? You might've missed it if I'm not tripping.
Your are right, however it was more elcano taking Schneider parts and analysing them. I don't think Schneider actively gave them part as i think our buddy with his ac dropped by for a visit.
the way you choose to pronounce Nachtreiher makes it sound like its something japanese instead of german :P Nachtreiher = black-crowned night heron Kasuare = cassowary Lämmergeier = bearded vulture Alula (Daumenfittich, Eckfittich or Afterschwinge) = same in english - alula, corner feather on the wing, akin to the thumb on a hand. Flügel = wing Bürzel = "parson's nose" or rump - backpart area of a bird. Würger = (literally: strangler), bird: Lanius Pfau = peafowl Fasan = Pheasant Kranich = Common crane Eule = Owl
Gonna be completly hounest here, this video would have been slightly better if it was read with amarican pronunciation. A good example would be Alula, it was probouced "Al-ul-a" where we pronpunce it "A-lul-a" which slides off the tunge easier. Reguardless, still a great video as always
I can understand the frustration, sadly this happens in a lot in ac lore. Six is better with its characters and story then a lot of the ac games. Older games had this terrible habit of making great ac pilots and then going history, what history? But then some games were better with thier corporations, granted this would later come from books. Expect Last raven which throws the lore at you in blocks of text and goes Read it if you want to learn! ha ha. Emails also where a big help. I think with 6 is its still very young and its got time to grow if from wants it too. A book could come out that could crack the lore wide open or this could be it. Either way i will say in my own opinion and even admitting to having to scrap its lore video that ac ninebreaker to me is an empty lore ac game.
That's likely because it's only one installment in? If you compare AC6's story to AC1's in isolation, not including Project Phantasma or Master of Arena, there's no way 6 is more empty?
Your safety is not aerodynamic!
My immediate thought seeing the vid
Official slogan of Schneider.
"Why do you need armor just dont get hit"
This next video comes from our affiliate Schneider…
Not that ACL had to bulk this video out by talking about subsidiaries and affiliate companies.
Schneider Corp: "The best defense is to not get hit at all!"
Arquebus ADD, Melinite, and Dafeng: "...we thought the phrase ended with "-a good offense-""
Schneider Corp: "Shhhhhh"
Ha ha.
Schneider engineers: "We made the legs be arms but as wings"
Arquebus: "Absolutely not. Have you maybe thought of making the arms... you know, just be arms?"
No armor is best armor, that's Schneider
Crazy kids.
SPEED IS WAR, BROTHER, AND WAR IS PART OF MY EXISTENCE.
OH RAH!
Imagine if the Schneider corporation is just current day and real Schneider electric company LOL
If they are, somebody go check thier warehouses.
Love the Lore as always.
One thing I realized in their parts is they have a fun naming convention.

Nahctreiher: black crowned heron
Kasuar: Cassowary
Wuerger: Shrike

Lammergeier: Bearded Vulture
I love these little details and fun things Fromsoft does
Thank you and it is cool. Suits thier style.
But why german names?
@@lukasbjornendermann9944 Cause the name of the company is Schneider; A German/Jewish surname.
@@lukasbjornendermann9944 Because why not?
I saw the Scheider frame parts and instantly fell in love. All 4 of my playthroughs were carried by my speedy little guy
Nice, that what i like about ac everyone can find a craft that they like.
"Hey, I'd like to talk about 'Speed' for you."
Nice, nice.
I believe that if there is a sequel, schnieder might play a much larger role. The idea of the legs as wings feels like a detail with to much creative possibility for fromsoft to just leave.
I would agree, it might be part in the next game.
The Kasuar head intrigues me.
My headcanon: it was made from Schnieder/Arquebus' research on HAL-826, resulting in an amalgamation of White Glint & NWGIX heads
Like the head cannon.
Pilot safety (optional)
Most of their parts are named after birds in some way. Deutsch names are always fun.
Very optional and yes they are. Looks his the whole audio file of acl practising the words.
schneider: we don't make armored core, we make core......
Fighter Jets, they really just wanted to make a space fighter jet.
@@armoredcorelore looks like schneider recruited their engineers and designers from ace combat universe.

Ahhhh Yes Schneider my favorite Corp next to ALLMIND. Good Frames all round
I agree, good frames if you like speed.
also I have the HARDEST time trying to remember to pronounce the Eula correctly kudos for that
It took me a lot of tries trust me. Got a whole audio track of me trying to say it right.
@@armoredcorelore 😂 I wish I still had my old B roll of it. We couldve done a collab of trying to pronounce the word eula it would've been hilarious
Ha ha just an audio of two people going mad trying to say a word that in English means owl.
Hang on… an English speaker pronounced Pfau correctly and didn’t use the cursed P-fau pronunciation?! Words cannot describe how happy this makes me
Ah well credit where due here @TH-camJulien made a video on how to pronounce this word correctly. So this is where i learned to pronounce this word.
Thanks for adding Schneider lore to the books. Not much to work with in terms of meat on the bones but I guess that's where speculation is born and used to entertain us until dessert arrives at the table. ^_^
There was little mat on the bones here, but as you say it allows for speculation and new ideas.
Finally, someone said Wuerger with the proper German pronunciation!
I'll take the win ha ha.
Why armor when you're not gonna get hit? - Schneider probably
One of many slogans from our PR department. We don't talk about HR.
We definitely need an expansion to ACVI to show more of the corporations.
It would be neat.
