What kind of case would you recommend getting for the Note 9?
I work in fashion, so silhouettes, rough sketches and design ideas on the go are what I usually use it for. Live message is also good when you're flirting because most of the girls on my design team have iPhones, so when they receive the gifs in iMessage, they're blown away.

I'm a fan of Ringke cases. Affordable while still providing solid protection
this is why i love my note 8. As a film producer, on the go, this phone is perfect. Also, being able to touch photos, edit videos and even doodle on the go, is nice. Once you go S-Pen, you'll never go, just touch, again.

It is so nice to see a young lady using an Android phone. I have been a fan of the Note since I got my first one when I was still working in business. Everyone made fun of my large phone when I first pulled it out in a meeting. Now, I love my Note 9. I've used many of the tips that you've recommened, but didn't know about the PDF signer - very cool. My favorite feature is using my pen to highlight text so that I can easily go to a website or just copy some specific words. I hope you keep up your usage tips. I became a subscriber. BTW, I'm probably old emough to be your grandmother and I still love useful tech!

My favorite s pen feature would have to be making notes onto photos. I've been able to create useful training manuals with the Note 9 and s pen.

As an RE investor the screen select has been invaluable. I'm able to pull images and info right from the source and make a slide show for each property in minutes from my phone, without having to use all the useless information from sites for my clients.
LOVE my Note 9. Had the very first Note and just got back to using the 9 and love it. Using the S Pen to screen shot my websites and make notes of ideas and things that I need to fix and just taking notes and reminders. I save them to a folder that I check daily.
I use it mainly for taking photos and drawing! The occasional note taking as well. It really came in handy when I was playing a recreational sport that it was used to draw out plays since there was no marker clipboard or anything around. Love the vids!

i seriously replaced every notebook , book , ipad and other stuff to study and do my college workflow because of this phone, that's how much i love this phone. A lot of people says that it's impossibile to take long notes on this phone because of the little screen but i realized that the most important thing when taking notes it's the precision that the pen has and this phone really is great , better for sure than my HP 2in1. Xodo and Squid are the best apps for me for this note

I've been a note user since the note 2. I use scrapbook and Samsung notes, but I use the s-note app the most. Air command wise, I probably use smart select the most. There's really so much that you can do. Which is why I dont know why non Samsung users claim it's just a s series phone with a pen. Its really much more better than the S phone

I use the S-Pen the most for taking notes and creating summaries of presentations. It's great to use in multi window because I can copy and paste with more accuracy, take screenshots and extract text to add to my notes rather than having to type it all out again. I actually use this feature several times a week. Using the S-Pen easily helps me distinguish that I'm not texting during these meetings as well.
That’s the biggest thing for me. I never want anyone I’m in a meeting with thinking that I’m texting or not paying attention to them.
Ya bro ..I use my laptop for that which is far more efficient..but sure go fiddle with your tiny screen and s pen lol
@@TripleAceAAA I'm glad you found something that works for you. I'm sure that laptop fits well in your pocket too, which makes it way more "practical" than my Note 9. 👌🏼 I should definitely try that. 🤫
@@angelobustillos601 does your keybaord...mouse and portable monitor fit in your pocket too lol....don't act like it virtually projects a screen onto the wall .....the set up completely destroys its use...why buy a keyboard and mouse and a monitor to set up dex when a cheap PC laptop for 300 bucks will do a better job
......ya gimmick...it's not even a problem to be solved ...it's just kids playing kiddie games... No one does any real work on dex. Lol jokes
Thao you're my favorite, keep up the energy in your videos! Galaxy Note and S-Pen user here since the first Galaxy Note, I use all these features. But I find myself using #7 Precision drawing on pictures and screenshots the most. S-Pen is very convenient.

Thank you for showcasing the copying text that can’t typically be copied. Often I’ve found it to be an issue on app like Instagram or certain websites. Such a small but super useful feature.

I think Best Buy has the better deal and you can still send your old phone back to Samsung/carrier for the aforementioned discount.
@@Thao you should have got the dual sim model SM-9600
That version allows you to text and make calls through either service at the same time without having to switch to either service at a time, or you can select one active that way the second sim card serves as your exclusive methods for making business calls, then if you choose to use your phone to make personal calls then you switch to the primary sim card
And because this means having 2 separate phone numbers going into 1 phone, you will never have any of your friends calling you while using your phone for official business, nor can can your colleagues contact you while you are on your own time, unless you choose to enable both sims at once or you give either groups both of your (work phone number) or (personal phone number)
That version of the note 9 ( Model SM-9600)
would be pretty ideal for business use
But if you do at any point have that phone then disregard

So I learned something new. I will jot notes on images when trying to explain something over a text message. Very useful information. I am looking forward to seeing what the Note 10 looks like. If its not that big a change, I will stick with the Note 9. Loving this phone! I use my s pen alot for calendar events. Love the camera on the Note 9.

Thao, great video. Other than using spen for texts, isnt there any other people like me who loved the remote shutter so much? I love taking outdoor family photography. Previously i have to set a timer on my mirrorless but now its just awesome to use remote shutter on my note 9.

Screen off memo is currently my most used feature followed by smart screen select but I’m most def going to be using the signature feature from now...totally forgot about it till now
I have note 9 exynos version (UK) and I can't seem to get the option on how to save a telephone number (saved in notes) to save as a new contact in my phone any advice? this doesn't happen in portrait or landscapes tried both :(
Does the S Pen have to be yellow like the one that came originally with the phone because I notice that after changing the S Pen of my Note 9 to blue when it got broken when if fell down the S Pen does not work like the yellow that came with it.

Hello, would you be able to help me find the call waiting option on my Note 9, I'm unable to find it anywhere and even the people at the stores dont know either
Take notes, pin them to the always on display, copy and share text / images, annotate on images, extract text from images, translate languages, create animated gifs....as I love math I pull out the S Pen and start solving problems as soon as I see a problem in the internet.

Yeah, I stumbled upon it accidentally one day. Been using it regularly since!
Can be hit or miss with some foreign currencies, but for my main use (USD TO CAD), it works flawlessly.

what does the writing on the black screen look like saved in a document? never had a note before.
Awesome. I noticed that when I don't cut my nails for slightly over a week, it becomes a bit of a nuisance using the touch screen. Fortunately, that's when the SPEN does come in handy when sending messages.
I've got the Tab S3 and I use the S Pen for just about everything you mentioned, except for the PDF signing. That's awesome, and I'm going to download the app. My #1 use though is note taking in meetings. I use S-Notes along with Evernote if the notes I take need to be shared across multiple devices since S-Notes doesn't really work like that. It's the biggest bummer about the software.
Hey, this was my concern. Snores doesn't sync amongst all Samsung devices. This is where apple is good. All its basic software sync on phone, tablets and laptops

I really like the S pen for the note 9! I love the smooth feel to it when your writing or drawing something on the screen! Its super cool how you can take photos now with the S Pen! I really like the S Pen but I don't think I would use it as much as other people do... so for now.. I'm sticking with the finger.. hehehe! ;-)

You aren't the only one ....people barely use it...it's just more of a gimmick...no one really cares about a s pen...I mean iPhone 2g was designed to get rid of it...so why bring it back lol. It's old and outdated. It's finished
@Emad Ahmed iPad and phones aren't the same...as you can see. Apple doesn't put it for the phone...cause it makes little sense when we removed it with the iPhone 2g ...the purpose is your finger should be able to do it all...and actually you can all the same stuff without the pen....it's just fun but not a necessity at all...not even close. Like probably last on the list
Which is why no company adds a s pen to their phone lol...think about it. If it was in demand...every company would do it
