Btw you can translate not only a word but also a paragraph by click left side of floating translate menu. There's Word/Paragrapgh option. That really handy in use :-)

thanks for the video I just received my replacement s pen from Samsung and unfortunately it is not being recognized it keeps telling me to insert but it is inserted I've checked the settings and even brought it to an AT&t authorized dealer they couldn't figure it out, any suggestions?
try the pen in someone else's phone and see if that pairs. If it doesnt, then the pen is faulty. If it does then it might be worth doing a backup and then a factory reset and starting again.
Back on previous notes there was an option while in a note you could "pin" the note to your home screen. It was like a sticky note for your screen. I found that very helpful is there still a way to do that in samsung notes?
Hi I need your help you know when you remove the S Pen out and on the top left corner you have to pencil and the eraser but I don't see the little thumbtack where I can write and save it so I can stay on my home screen it's only showing me the S Pen and the Eraser but not the Thumbtack on the top left corner why is that

They should intergrate a mic on the pen so u can use it for some a0location like dictation answering a call erc etc

Any tips for lefties? Had a note 3 a few years ago and never utilized the s-pen enough. Trying once again with a note 9..
I am a leftie and I have no issues with the pen (just taking it in and out is irritating). I move the air command icon to the left side of the screen so it's easy to access.
I never thought about that and my mom has had every Note and never mentioned it. I imagine pulling it out takes some getting used to. But she uses hers a lot.

The next thing to be added to the S pen will be a microphone.
Now you can take pics pressing the button when the s pen is out, imagine giving it commands and walking around the office, house, wherever and it takes copies your voice and types in memo.
Plus speak into pen for pics and command take video. That's where it needs to go next.

Note 10 is a downgrade from the 9 so no need for a review to be honest with you
The s pen button at the top, is for release and lock of the pen when inserted into mobile
I know that but it could be used for something else since it's there already. Like start timer. It doesn't do it now but seems like a waste since it's there

The button on the top is for locking the pen in and getting it out. When it's in the phone you mash it to make it pop out giving you something for your finger nail to grab. You can also use it to fidget like with a retractable or clicky ink pen.

The bluetooth functions are for the push button on the side only. The hovering and touching on the screen have nothing to do with bluetooth. That's all part of the sensors built into the screen and the magnetic tip of the S-pen.

Yesterday unfortunately my s pen was stolen @ my Doctors office by one of her two assistants 😡 When I walked 3 feet away from the room I was using it in while waiting for the Dr my phone rang out to let me know I was walking away without it..the two assistants were in there but not my pen supposedly.

I never used my bluetooth feature and my pen worked fine Would you recommend this pen?
The button at the top is for releasing it from the slot etc, it comes out and allow u to pull it out of the housing!!

My note 9 went back so I can't try it but also try resetting it: Settings-> Advanced Features-> S-pen-> S-pen Remote: select the settings for this "app" (three dots in upper right corner, and choose "reset S-pen

Liron Segev I tried to reset the pen and it’s still not working right. I’m going to try to google the problem and see if maybe I can find a solution. I do a lot of surveys so if I take a picture and draw arrows & dimensions on it am I able to tidy it up like you did with writing with the pen but it converted it to text ?
Yes! I did that all the time... And my writing is terrible!
@@LironSegev I am getting my note 9 tomorrow but I used to have a note 3 and the problem was from trying to draw an arrow from one side of the screen to the other it would all be wobbly and look really unproffesional so I am hoping this has a way to solve that, Thank you for your reply :)

Is there a feature wherein you can write notes and it will automatically translate into normal text? Not in message but just a note.
Just had my 1 month old S pen break in half. Any idea if it can be fixed or if another S pen from an older model will work. I don't have the extra $50 to purchase a new one for my S9 Notebook???

When ON screen and while I hold my s pen:
Press BIXBY KEY so that it engages SCREEN OFF MEMO, so the screen turns off and I take a note on black screen.... As if I had just taken out the s pen
I mean I would love to use the screen off memo feature without having to put the s pen inside the slot and turn off the screen

The clicker button on the s pen on Samsung Galaxy note 9 is for taking photos or videos by clicking button when have camera on .

When my phone is off and I remove the S Pen out I don't see the little Thumbtack on the top left corner I only see the S Pen sign in the Eraser but I don't see the little Thumbtack that should be there and I want to know why it isn't appearing on my screen so I can write a memo pen it so I can be on my home screen
