I noticed that you and majority of galaxy users swipe down the quick settings menu with 1 finger.. try to swipe down it with 2 fingers.. now the full menu will open directly.. that feature is there since note 3 but not many know it.. I hope it adds to your galaxy skills ;) Peace..

The iPhones are simply faster and snappier. The only benefit the note 9 has given me was the micro sd card slot for taking videos off cameras directly. But that's it.
This phone should be for modern generations with multitasking skills. I can't just do one thing on the phone, I wanna watch a video and write an email at the same time, I wanna check the calendar and make my appt online etc.... wish more people would see the greatness of having this phones specially note 9.
A year ago my daughter convinced me to switch to iPhone 8 from Android after being with Samsung from S1 to S7 Edge, Mega, and Note 3,4,5. Worst tech decision I’ve ever made 😣. Just purchased a Note 9 yesterday and it feels great to be home again 🤩😁😎

Ever since I picked up my first smart phone some 12 or so years ago (hard to believe smart phones have been out so long), I've always ran a custom operating system and made my own themes. Anyhow, since I moved from my Note 5 to Note 9, I really haven't missed all of those customizations -- well somewhat, lol. Android Pie with the dark mode is quite nice. Now I just make my own Substratum theme. I'm happy! And of course the N9 is an animal too! Sammy did, for the most part, a great job. Don't care for Bixby too much, and kinda hate that they made a useless button for it.
Wanna something wierd? I would actually want to have a Note 9, there's something in that curve look that gets me. I have a Note 20 Ultra and it's my first note, I wouldn't change it for the Note 9, but I simply see it as a nice phone, even though is from 2 years old
Android > Apple... There are so many little things that add up. Wether they for you or not but they are there. With apple as user friendly as it is you pretty much have to take the crookeds with the straights.
I just switched so fat work flow is better than I phone which is huge for me but as for quality of pictures and voice recognition, I phone beats Samsung

If you pull your bixby button out, you can always put it back later. Until you do, you'll never notice it's gone with a case on. Edit- Two other options. 1. Remove the nub over the button in your phone case so it's much harder to push. 2. BX actions! Get the paid version and unpack with a PC for all the functions (double press doesn't work yet). I use short press for media play/pause, long press screen on for split screen toggle, long press screen off for flashlight. I love it!
If you're going to use a case then there's no need of removing the Bixby button. But if you don't want to use a case you can carefully tear the Bixby button out take a razor blade and cut the plastic below the button and place the Bixby button back in the note 9. that way it will almost be like the Bixby button was never there because the button will go deeper into the note and be level with the rest of the phone. The Bixby button will be loose but it won't fall out but if you want to stop it from being loose you can always add a pinch of crazy glue and hold it for a few seconds lol

Great video. Can you tell me whats the easiest way to move an app from one page to another? I've just been holding down the app and trying to move it over from the edge of the page. There has to be an easier way.
To begin with, flick to the home page or any other next to or next to but 1 etc. Any. Your page of choice to place the app. Then open app drawer (this method works in app drawer), long press app, then remove finger. A little window will then pop open right above + next to that app. It should give you some options. Press the 1 of choice! You want it to say "move to home page" , it actually moves to the previous page (either yr home page or 1 of the ones beside it) It will go to that one. Good luck. Gosh, it's hard to describe! 😊

Useful information, if you have never owned earlier Samsung phones, two and a half minutes into the video and I haven't found any feature unique to Note 9, indeed all these features were on not only S9 but S8 / S8+

Yeah that button is a pain in the ass. I always pressed it accidentally when watching a video..

Michael Palmer hit the recent apps button at the bottom. All those apps that show are running. You can close them one by one or all at the same time
