I noticed that you and majority of galaxy users swipe down the quick settings menu with 1 finger.. try to swipe down it with 2 fingers.. now the full menu will open directly.. that feature is there since note 3 but not many know it.. I hope it adds to your galaxy skills ;) Peace..

I've been with iPhone ever since I passed the flip phone phase and I just got my first android today.. I got the note9 and I absolutely love it. I got tired of iPhone tbh and android is just perfect
Wrnt from iOS to andoird to iOS and moved back to android this week.
Massive regret, I remember why I went back to iOS in the first place.
Nothing comes close to the air pods.
The iPhones are simply faster and snappier.
The only benefit the note 9 has given me was the micro sd card slot for taking videos off cameras directly. But that's it.
Welcome to the Best world of Android phone...you won't regret it.
This phone should be for modern generations with multitasking skills. I can't just do one thing on the phone, I wanna watch a video and write an email at the same time, I wanna check the calendar and make my appt online etc.... wish more people would see the greatness of having this phones specially note 9.

A year ago my daughter convinced me to switch to iPhone 8 from Android after being with Samsung from S1 to S7 Edge, Mega, and Note 3,4,5. Worst tech decision I’ve ever made 😣. Just purchased a Note 9 yesterday and it feels great to be home again 🤩😁😎

Battery life on my note 9 isn't very good. Maybe I have too many apps running.

I just bought the phone was 65% at the store and about 45 min later I'm at 52%. I smart switched everything over I'm not sure what's going on though

After 4 months research I decided to buy a note9. I got lucky and scored a brand new copper coloured one for tiny bit more than refurbished or 2nd hand devices. I had put aside enough + my timing was such that I could have bought a new note 10,20,10 lite etc or any Samsung (note) that came out this year but the 9 was + still would be my 1st choice! I don't regret my choice at all. Loving it. I'm considering buying another 2nd hand as a backup but I'm sure I won't need it. I just love the colours!! Thank you so much Droid Life for all your help setting it up. Invaluable info.
Edge panel is the feature i use the most often. I like to keep my home page free of apps.
after updating to pixelized. can we change the back key button downbelow. to the right side? as stock Android has it on left.

Can you tell me how to change the sound to in coming text messages only. When I change the sound it change for all notification i only want to change the text message sound.
you change it when you are in "messages", then go to settings there

Hi, i recently bought a Note 9 and im having an issue now with the way my photos are showing in facebook when they are posted. Back when I was using note 5, whenever i post mutiple photos, say 9 photos, they will be shown altogether in my post in a layout where there are 8 small photos surrounding 1 big photo. but now whenever i do that in note 9, the photos appear sequentially and im forced to swipe in each one by one. how do i change it similar to how the photos are shown phones without curved edge? thanks!

I cant seem to find the weather status when i double tap on the AOD and swipe through the options. it just shows music, is there a way to add it?

Omg thank you so much for this video. I am a new android user i was Iphone before, many people said I should come to droid and saw the Note9 and fell on love! Everything that did does that apple doesn't amazes me. I will be a deoud for life user now. iPhone seems like the. Any version of smart phones to me now. Anyway this video was very informative and super help thank you so much for making this. You explain things well and it helps me to understand what I can do with my phone. Ever since I picked up my first smart phone some 12 or so years ago (hard to believe smart phones have been out so long), I've always ran a custom operating system and made my own themes. Anyhow, since I moved from my Note 5 to Note 9, I really haven't missed all of those customizations -- well somewhat, lol. Android Pie with the dark mode is quite nice. Now I just make my own Substratum theme. I'm happy! And of course the N9 is an animal too! Sammy did, for the most part, a great job. Don't care for Bixby too much, and kinda hate that they made a useless button for it.
Anybody's Multi Window tap button not working?? The multi windows appear but I can't tap on the middle bar icon for any extra options

S10 just came out, but planning to get a Note 9. Don't know why I'm way more impressed by the Note 9 although S10 is the current big thing.
I got it in purple (Note 9) and I love it! My husband got the S10 and I'm not impressed..🤷🏾♀️
The S-Pen is always the deal breaker for me. All the features and extras it brings to the table puts it above everything else in its class.

Michael Palmer hit the recent apps button at the bottom. All those apps that show are running. You can close them one by one or all at the same time

Wanna something wierd? I would actually want to have a Note 9, there's something in that curve look that gets me. I have a Note 20 Ultra and it's my first note, I wouldn't change it for the Note 9, but I simply see it as a nice phone, even though is from 2 years old

I got my note 9. Great device. One problem, how do I disable this daft bixby button or get it to launch Google assistant?
Can someone help me out? So when I am scrolling youtube I still see the navigation bar. I used to have to swipe up to see it. now it is always there, I have checked my settings and it shows full screen yet the navigation bar is still there. I have checked for updates there are none.
Double click the button on far left of nav bar to hide it.

***I figured it out. Shew!! Do you know how to change notification sound to be separate for emails and text? You could on older notes, but I can’t figure it out on the Note 9. I want my emails to have different sound than texts coming in.

Android > Apple... There are so many little things that add up. Wether they for you or not but they are there. With apple as user friendly as it is you pretty much have to take the crookeds with the straights.
I just switched so fat work flow is better than I phone which is huge for me but as for quality of pictures and voice recognition, I phone beats Samsung
